Great products and great service.

The staff at George Browns were friendly and helpful and were quick to resolve a couple of teething problems:
Seat autocutoff not working - needed readjustment
Engine was "backfiring" - speed /choke lever needed adjustment.
What was disapointing was that these two issues were not picked up at the pre-delivery commissioning

Both Stiga and Mountfield dealership were very helpful regarding my purchase and kept regularly informed on my delivery date. Very pleased with the customer experience.

I bought a Mountfield lawn tractor in January this year and it broke down after the first use. It is still under warranty but they made me pay for the repair. They don't answer the phone or reply to my emails. I paid over £3000 for it and they sold me a very poor quality product that is unusable. The only thing worse than the machine is the customer service.

The mower was bought to replace an aging Honda mower. I have only usef it once as my garden is undergoing a complete remodelling. It compares very well yo my old Honda which was three timrs the price when new. It is much lighter which is good. My only concern is that it seems to be very fast and it is not possible to vary the speed.

Mountfield Mower delivered to my property as expected and giving me helpful operating instructions. Thank you.

Bought the same product in 2013 this is a replacement for what was a fantastic lawnmower if this new one lasts as long I will be very pleased

0nly bad thing ..the new grass box ended fitting the old one from my previous mower...did not like it.

I ordered the Tow Hitch to fit my Mountfield 1330M Ride-on mower. Arrived quickly and fitted esily. I can now use a trailer when not mowing the lawn. Many Thanks!

Great mower just the right size as I find the larger one we have is too heavy for me.

This is my third Mountfield lawnmower. I bought my last one 26 years ago and it never let me down.

Appalling products and service. Mower unsupported as battery charger failed and is no longer made leaving me to have to buy a new mower from them with a 30% discount code that failed to work 4 times, this was because customer service copied it incorrectly to me. Then bought a mower on offer but at checkout it went through at the higher list price not offer price. Bought it anyway as desperate for the mower and contacted them for the refund of the difference.....three weeks have passed and no response. This company once a premium brand are a joke

A mower (SP42) which became unusable just over two years after purchase - serviced by Culverwells, from whom we purchased it. And then the worst customer service you can imagine from Mountfield when I contacted them direct. Used the online customer form twice, second time with “formal complaint” in title. No reply to either. Woman I finally spoke to couldn’t care less. Never buying from this company again.

Really difficult to contact and deal with. Emails are all ignored even although they are encouraged as an acceptable method of communication.
Telephone calls are not quickly answered. I waited 43 minutes, to go from 7th in the queue to 4th then hung up. Terrible. I’m still waiting on my credit and it’s been over a month. Don’t deal with this company. (Ironically, their lawnmowers are good)!

Upped from 1 star to 3 on account of the fact that once a local Mountfield dealer contacted them on my behalf, they did send the parts.

Without doubt THE WORST customer service I have ever (not) received. I decided to go directly to Mountfield and purchase the SP53 Elite, to replace my existing Mountfield mower that gave me ten years of faithful service with barely a hiccup, until it threw a rod through the side of the engine casing (RIP). I was very impressed initially as it was delivered next day, despite them saying it would be 5-7 working days. That’s where my joy ended…

On opening the box I noted two coach bolts rolling around loose with a random nyloc nut. When I came to assemble the handle it was obvious that the fixing kit was missing. I went to their ‘live chat’ only to find it ‘dead’ - after an hour, no one had responded. So I phoned the 800 number on the receipt to be told to call a non-free number instead. When I joined the queue I was in 13th place - unlucky for some it seems as I was still in 13th place 30 minutes later, at which point I gave up. Oh well, there’s always the archaic medium of email I thought. I wrote a concise description of my issue, included photos and the order number/receipt, fully expecting an apologetic email for my trouble, with an assurance that the missing parts would be in the post forthwith. What did I get? You guessed it, sweet FA.

So, I now have a £500 mower that is basically useless, with no known way to resolve this other than driving to Essex and banging on their door. I could probably bodge it with a few M8 bolts but no doubt that would invalidate the warranty! I’ve just read the ‘values’ part of their website - absolute nonsense, don’t believe a word of it…
