We found the whole experience of working with MPK excellent - the architect helped us realise just the right layout for our non- standard roof shape loft conversion and garage extension, Martin and Lisa were always available to discuss questions/issues which arose and the team were great to have around the house. We have two young children and the team went out of their way to be friendly towards them, to keep the build site as clean and safe as possible and to accommodate our needs as a family whilst living through fairly extensive, disruptive building works.
When inevitable problems arose we were able to have frank and helpful discussions with both the team and Martin to resolve things satisfactorily. There were a couple of incidents of small mistakes made, but these were immediately and at no cost to us rectified with no impact to working relationships. Any issues raised were always dealt with in a timely manner.
If we had one small criticism to make it would be on the quoting process - on the whole we found this to be clear and clarification given when sought - however when inevitable extras arose there was at times less transparency at additional costs added. In addition, there were a couple of things where we thought jobs would be completely covered by the quote but this turned out not to be the case, to be fair some of these arose due to unexpected changes as the building work progressed but there were some we felt could have been anticipated and covered more fully in the initial quote.

We recently completed a loft conversion with MPK and we could not have been happier with both the service we received and the quality of the end result. From our first meeting with Martin through to the completion of the project, the whole team did a great job of keeping us informed of what was happening and responded to any queries very promptly. The team working on the house were polite, friendly and always cleaned up at the end of each day and actually completed work slightly ahead of schedule - not bad given there were two snow days and a bank holiday during our build!

There are probably only 2 or 3 companies I've had the pleasure of dealing with that have surpassed all my expectations and MPK are very much on that small list - highly recommended!

We are very happy with our new loft conversion. It is a really attractive and flexible space for guests, hobbies or watching the sunset.
We were impressed by the high quality of work undertaken by all the people involved in the project. The site team, led by Gary and Greg, were good at finding creative solutions to unforeseen problems - and adapting to fit in with our own ideas. Lisa was always approachable when issues emerged and showed a can-do approach to getting the result we needed.
We would not hesitate to recommend MPK to anyone planning similar building work.

Many thanks to all at MPK lofts. I had my loft converted earlier this year. I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family.
MPK took the time to plan and design my loft space to a very high quality. I was able to be involved in the design process and felt the whole thing was managed very well. Everybody was friendly, informative and thorough. I thought the standard of work was fantastic and am thrilled with the finished product. The boys always kept me updated throughout the build and they left the flat very tidy considering the nature of the work they were doing. Nothing was too much trouble and I thank them for their hard work.

I will enjoy watching the cricket from my new loft!
