Disappointed massively with this…

Disappointed massively with this “academy”, one of the bad ones that tries to cash in on kids football without any effort to actually improve the kids at all. Don’t be fooled by the name academy, this is not an academy in any, way shape or form.
No dialogue with any parent, kids are switched between groups and coaches without notice or explanation. I used them
because their training was local to me but apart from exercise my son didn’t really get anything from the coaching, whereas with his grassroots team coach has seemed to get much more at a fraction of the cost.
My son adores football & plays every second he gets so it is very telling that he was the one that made the decision to stop with MRFA, much to my delight.
Over 6 months the price has also risen 75% & when I contacted them to cancel, was told there was a 30 day notice period, for no
reason other than to line the owner’s pocket. Gives you an idea where their motivation lies, it certainly isn’t to improve children’s football skills.
There was also a tournament where my son was used to create a team that the coach said “so bad that if they score a goal I’m getting an extra tenner on my fee” he was essentially bullying the children that had been specifically chosen for this tournament to make their “proper” academy teams look better. He was initially played at 7 years old in an under 6 final so that MRFA could be seen to win that too. This was, as always, without any consultation with me & I only realised after the event. Imagine the poor 6 year olds on the opposition team that lost the final due to this!
I think this is very illustrative of the type of people that run/work for, this company. I hear that their real academy teams are run quite well but their soccer schools & holiday schools are apparently known, even by their own coaches, as being run appallingly.
This is a highly competitive sector with lots of other options, I would wholeheartedly suggest that MRFA is not one to use for your children.

Fantastic Experiences.

My son, who loves football, has gained so much from being under the care of MRFA. All football sessions are enjoyable, develop skills, build social friendships, confidence, team building skills, and provide a level of care and attention which we find highly valuable. Staff are informative and approachable and supportive to individual needs. The children are made aware of targets they can aim towards to develop their skills and are praised continually for the achievements they make. I would highly recommend this to anyone for their child.

Fantastic football fun!

I used Michael and his team for my 6 year old son's birthday party. For two hours they kept twenty-three 5 and 6 year olds engaged and entertained. Everyone really enjoyed it and it represented good value for money for me.
We also go to his school football holiday club which my son really enjoys as well.
All the children like the trainers and respond really well to them this is definitely worth a go.

Mrfa

My son gets loads out of Monday evenings up at HRS in Dunmow and really enjoys the seasons, he often goes to the holiday camps which he had always enjoyed but is now feeling a little to old to attend these as there is more younger children than older ones.

MRFA

MRFA is an absolutely fantastic football training school. The coaches are both professional and fun.
The course is run with the utmost concern for the children and all thoughts and teaching are made with the child's well being and enjoyment at the forefront.
I would recommend this training programme to any parent wishing for their child to better their football skills and attitude

First class football coaching from a first class team.

Very professional, highly skilled football coaching from Michael and his team. Never had anything but positive feedback from parents and children alike. Extremely lucky to have MRFA linked to our club.
Keep up the excellent work.
