Superb removal company, great team of removal men , did a great job at short notice moving from Darlington to Newbottle, Houghton le Spring very professional and well organised.

Very professional service the guys were very helpful and moved everything from my old property to my new address with out any problems,

I recently used Mr Shifter to pack up my house contents and take everything into their storage facility. The two guts who came were professional and efficient taking care with delicate items. Would definitely recommend them.

In addition to transporting our equipment, they also securely stored our items for a period, all of which were returned in perfect condition.

I have used this company 3 times now each move has been professionally undertaken by their staff who have always been polite and helpful and very careful with my furniture I would certainly use Mr Shifter again.

Awful experience for My Elderly Mum. She paid for a removal that never took place. Try to keep it brief as its a long story but never received any terms and conditions which apparently we have not kept too. We cancelled with 10 days notice and no further booking made, so no further loss to the Company. I was then advised that a £100 refund on a £380 booking would be made, nothing received.

We paid for the full service which included dismantling beds and wardrobes and rebuilding at the other end and although it wasn’t cheap it was well worth it. The guys were fantastic and couldn’t have done a better job . We were downsizing from a 5 bed to a 4 bed so there was a hell of a lot to move and they managed it in one day . They came 2 days earlier to pack most the stuff ready to go . I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

We first used Mr Shifter over 30 years ago and when it came to our son moving home only natural to use again. Arrived at time advised , carefully loading room by room, with the same unloading into new home. Very courteous and pleasant, a job well done. Good to see a local company still offering the same great service for over 30 years 👏

Mr. Shifter moved our possessions to our current abode four years ago. They made the process easy and stress free, the crew were brilliant. Absolutely First Class Service
In October last year we had an emergency to move my parents into new accommodation.
Mr Shifter came to the rescue within a week to move them.
The lads were thoughtful and considerate and professionals to say the least.

The whole team at Mr. Shifters were brilliant, from the initial planning through to the delivery. The Removal team were totally professional, ensuring everything was packed onto the truck carefully and securely. The unloading due to Hurricane Anna proved a huge challenge for the original Removal Team, and were given additional support from other members of Mr. Shifters due to the horrendous conditions. They were fantastic! Thanks hugely for a really great service.
