Gone downhill badly

I have used Muglamania for many years and have always been more than happy with the products, customer service etc and left a glowing report several years ago. However my most recent experience means that I will never use, or recommend, them again. I ordered several coasters and when they arrived, instead of the nice glossy finish I have been used to they were dull and lifeless, almost a matt finish. They claim not to have changed anything and tried to blame the photos I sent. They said they would refund if I sent them back at my own cost but would not reprint in case I "still wasn't happy". I have since had some done by another company, using the EXACT same photos, and they are a lovely glossy finish and streets ahead in quality.

Hello Carol,
As discussed with you,nothing has changed in our sublimation printing process.Something we have been doing since 2007.
In fact ,we all thought the coasters looked great when completed and would help you raise even more funds for your charity.
Our terms and conditions are that you can return the coasters and after inspection ,if we agree with you ,you would have had a full refund including postage but we never received any coaster returns from you,
As you say,this order was placed in February and it’s now the end March before you decided to leave a negative review
You kept the coasters,so not sure what else we could have offered to help out.

MUGS ARE THE BEST

Thank you for giving me such a great design that I want. I bought this for my mom's birthday. She loved it so much. Thank you. I will definitely purchase it again. :)

Avoid - Bad Service - Bad Customer Service

I ordered some personalised products from Muglamania, t shirts and mugs, received the order only to find it was not our order, they had printed someone else's images to our products which we found very frustrating.

How they handled this complaint was outrageous claiming we had sent the image they printed although our email and attachments could be proved.

In the end I did a charge back with card company as Muglamania refused to refund me.

Once bitten twice shy - please avoid if you value your money, much better providers are available else where...

Who are you and whats your order number,because,to be honest nobody has heard of you and this appears to be bogus
We dont accept orders via email attachments,every order is placed on line with a confirmed order number and confirmed method of payment via PayPal ,so if you can confirm these details please in your reply as we have nothing listed

Fantastic quality

I was really disappointed when I got to the till at how expensive postage was, especially once I learned it was only second class Royal Mail, however the products came and were such good quality (even though my photos were only taken on a phone) that I am ordering even more. I'm just mad at myself that I didn't order all in one go so I didn't have to pay postage twice! 🙈

excellent service

Fantastic!

Promotional Mugs

We were pleased with the results,colours were bright and the finish was good.
After discussing what colors to use we opted for brighter colors rather than soft pastels and Im glad we did,the results were very good

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I strongly believe they do not send all the products ordered but even if they do they will not rectify any issues. Their customer service is atrocious.

I placed an order on the 14/12/15 with a stated maximum delivery of 5 days. 4/6 mugs ordered were received within this timeframe but two mugs were missing (and have still not been received to date 10/01/15). When I contacted the company (and I could only do this by email as they never answered the mobile phone number listed on the website), they were most unhelpful and rude.

They were adamant that all 6 were sent and were unwilling to do anything to rectify the fact that two were missing (they did have a photograph showing 6 boxes taped together), but this makes you wonder why they take photographs of parcels sent when they are responsible (not the customer) for the product up to the minute it is delivered. It seems to me that they must get this a lot and use the photographs to argue with their customers.

After spending hours and hours back and forth by email they eventually refunded the cost of the two missing mugs (even though I said I didn’t want a refund and wanted the two missing mugs to be sent out).This was because the mugs were intended as a Christmas gift for our volunteers as a thank you for all the work they do for charity. I could not therefore very well only give one to four of our volunteers and not the others, so the four received were useless.

I strongly feel this company were doing everything they could to be awkward and said as much to them and that I wanted the mugs re-sent but if they insisted on being awkward to provide a full refund (to which they agreed to a refund hence acknowledging they were trying to be awkward). This is where I am currently up to today 10/01/15 (a whole month later) but I am dubious that the company will issue the refund as they have stated that they cannot be responsible for the mugs during return transit. I get the impression that they are going to say they were returned broken or something because this is the kind of ridiculous childish behaviour I’ve seen from them so far.

They apparently contacted their contracted delivery company ipost who stated that the parcel didn’t look damaged when delivered, hence they stated they were confused and basically called me a liar (the parcel came as four individual small boxes taped together so if there were six it does seems quite logical that two came loose but even so, the company should rectify this and at the very least be polite and respectful to their customers).

I did note that all their correspondence states “You are important to us. Your complete satisfaction is our intent. If you are happy with our service, tell all your friends. If you are disappointed, please tell us and we will do our best to resolve the issue…..”. I certainly didn’t experience any of this and in fact my experience is the complete opposite.

As stated by Muglamania I did inform them that I would be leaving a review and I gave them a number of weeks to rectify the issue in the hope that I would not have to leave such a poor review. Plenty of opportunity in my mind but still such a disrespectful response.

P.s. I would have been happy with any outcome that didn't involve the arguing. I'm not arguing over the money but the principle and the fact that I was unable to provide a token of gratitude to such helpful volunteers. I would still prefer to receive the mugs than the money but Muglamania have been unwilling to co-operate.

Thank you for feedback.

With regard to the six mugs ordered from us,we did refund you in full for the two missing items.

As you said in your email,without all six complete the other four were not required and would be useless,and we ,at our expense,arranged for these to be collected and returned so we can then refund you in full for the total order - which I think is very fair and will not leave you out of pocket.

The picture we took clarified how the items were packed and what the courier collected from ourselves so you had a record of what and how they were packed and subsequently how you said they arrived with you .

With regard to the delivery ,you didn't raise any issue with courier on a damaged package or or if any items were missing,which to fair ,should have been case.

To say that we cant be trusted to refund you in full is quite unfair,when we have already refunded for two alleged missing mugs without you having to provide any proof at all.

Once we had received the other items back,it was our intention refund you in full,we sent you a courier return note for you ease but when you did return the mugs for a credit you sent a box of stones from your garden and kept the mugs - a bizarre action - but made us all laugh and proved a moral point in the office how well we can judge a conman !!!!!!!

You did state in your emails that it was your intention to leave a negative feedback anyway,and it certainly felt that what ever we tried to do it was always going to be the case.

You put us in the position of what ever we did, where going to dammed if we did and dammed if we did not

Cyber bullying at its best !!

When we did pay for you to return the mugs for a credit you sent a box of stones from your garden and kept the mugs !!!!!!!

Highly Recommend Muglamania to anyone

I recently ordered a personalised photo moneybox from Muglamania, It wasn't only the cheapest I'd found anywhere online but I loved the fact I could see my moneybox as I was designing it. Unfortunately the moneybox arrived slightly damaged, even though it was well packed, after contacting Muglamania about this matter, I couldn't believe how helpful they were, As this was a gift for a friends birthday and time was fast running out to replace it, Muglamania helped me out big time by allowing me to send photos of the damaged moneybox rather than sending the original moneybox back and having to wait for a replacement, I received the new moneybox just in time for my friends birthday, we were both delighted with the quality of the moneybox and I for one will definitely be purchasing more items from Muglamania in the near future. I would highly recommend Muglamania to anyone.

Terrible service

I can see from the date your order was placed which was on Saturday the 28th June ,2014 and the notification sent to you on the the 8th July to confirm despatch.
This is only 7 working days.which is what we advised you when you placed the order.
So we are a little confused why you state it took 3 weeks ?.
I can only apologise if Royal Mail have taken longer to deliver than normal,but its very disapponiting to see you state 3 weeks when this is clearly wrong and misleading

ace print, but no gift box

The print on the cup looked great. Cup seems to be of decent quality. However, I paid for a white gift box, but only received it in a brown cardboard box. Nevertheless, satisfied with the product.

Don't waste money with this company, Tesco are selling a much better quality at better price, Image stuck at an angle and poor print quality. Don't shop here if you don't want to waste your money

I have contacted you too on several times, as I want to return the goods but you need to pay for return postage.
I am amazed at how poor can a company get towards their customer

I have sent them request to confirm that return postage will be refunded by them as they sent me a faulty product. But they rather lose customer. Still waiting for their confirmation rather than long responses


The supplier will send you poor workmanship item and then you will be asked to pay for return to get your issue resolved. They have poor customer service

The supplier is not accepting the issue and I have sent images of the angle image along with poor quality of print

Poor customer service so far

Will update this review once supplier agrees to a full refund including P&P which I shouldn't lose because of poor workmanship

22.05.14 Update.
We are still awaiting the return of the item to credit you for the order.
We have asked several times for you to do this but we cant issue a credit until the item is returned.

As per the email response we sent you earlier,if you have an issue with the quality of the print,then we do need the item sent back to us for inspection,we advised you of this and you have yet to send it back for us to review and inspect,so as to date you still have the mug,so we cant do anymore than ask you send it back.
We have actullay offered you a full refund of your purchase,but,again we cant do this if you still have the mug and dont return the item.
Our terms and conditions clearly state our returns policy,non of which have you followed or seem to want to.
As soon as we can see the issue you state by having the item back,we can then follow our returns and refund policy,but,as I repeat,while you have the mug,what else can we do?.
How can we possibly refund you if you still have the item since the 08.05.14 and its now the 22.05.14.
We cant understandy you have not sent it back but request a full refund anyway
