My experience with Mumara Campaign+ as self-hosted has been absolutely incredible. If you really need proper and working bulk email sending system which actually and really works Mumara is your choice.

If you want to send big amounts (I mean real huge amounts) of email this software will help you but you need to learn some, so with small setup I can see it working well too but actually you can push email sending to very much limits with this software if you do all the work well enough. That being said, if you wanna do miracles with this software it's possible, but you need to learn, fail few times, then learn of those and if you do this all correctly and give yourself even some time to learn you can build pretty much very furious email sending system which might really surprise you.

It will work with smaller setups, but I'm giving an opinion of bigger email sending system. The software mostly wants CPU power, and what is really neat is that Mumara includes multi-threading option, so you can actually use not only all the cores of your CPU but also threads. This is just a small knowledge for those who wanna build a real monster mass email sender. So say you have 16 cores and 32 threads, Mumara can also multi-use not only all your cores but their threads too at similiar time, which makes the software faster. Now you do need so called "sending" nodes, which in nerd language means SMTP servers so be wise build wise, you'll get miracles done with this. It's just that the knowledge for full throttle usage of Mumara might not happen in few days, give it a time and learn it and you do wonders. Even with those few days, you'll still be sending emails!! So I don't mean it's that hard to get sending emails, I'm talking if you wanna send huge.

So perfect software for such bulk email usage. I've gotten to know couple of contacts trought using Mumara and they have different size systems and they all work well enough for what they need, so I don't see a problem if you wanna send small, medium, or huge amount of emails it's all down to you and your system and how you wanna put effort to it and what is your goal with the system.

I've also gotten to know the founder of Mumara also. He's a brilliant guy and I pay respect for the work, effort, time, brains he has used to code Mumara. It's really a program no one else have made similiar to. And yes, I did check at some point for other softwares like Mumara. I tried few, they all failed, none of those I could find were not even close for all the options Mumara has, all the usage of resources that Mumara is very smart to use, just brilliant! Brilliant software!

I have no doubt their hosted service wouldn't be good, but knowing what Mumara can do I have no doubt it wouldn't do exactly what you need from it, but just for the now long experience with Mumara Campaign+ self hosted - if you've come here and your interest seems to be a software for mass email sending, and you're so close to trying it t hat you're reading my review - lemme say straight to you if you're trying to compare this kinda software;
Just go with Mumara. Learn it and you really can't find another like it.

Thanks and huge respect for hard work creating Mumara, also thanks for very fast professional help I've gotten. Quick bug fixes, updates also come regularly which is good and you don't have to do anything big yourself for applying new updates, just few clicks from the backend and you're done. The fee for monthly lisence is very low compared to the quality of this application. It's worth it. Just brilliant system!

Their system is awesome. There is no other place anywhere where one can find so many options and control settings to send out email campaigns. I fully recommend them as their leadership and expertise is unequalled in the industry, from CEO to those executing the work on servers.

Greatest mailing app you'll ever need! Drip/trigger function are amazing. Superb support. Hands down the best mailing app I ever used.

Second, I am writing a review ONLY for the self-hosted Campaigns+ platform. I cannot comment on their cloud hosted service nor any other applications.

In the area of self-hosted email marketing platforms, there are very few options available, and most are outdated, or feature-poor, or both! Mumara's Campaigns+ application is the exception--it is built with the latest web technologies; it has an insanely gorgeous and modern UI that's extremely intuitive and easy to use; it is packed to the brim with rich contact, list, and campaign management features you expect a modern email automation platform to have; it has a nice drag-and-drop responsive HTML editor plus option for custom HTML editing if needed; it has very robust segmentation and triggering capabilities; plus extensive white-labeling features and a comprehensive API supporting nearly every function you can think of!

All in all I highly recommend Mumara as a company and their Campaigns+ self-hosted software.It is a thoughtfully designed platform designed to help you run successful email campaign, and I can't wait to see how the Mumara team continues to improve the product and innovate in the future.
