Murano Glass Italy have not responded to any emails
On 29 April 2026 I ordered a necklace from Murano Glass Italy to be delivered to the UK.
On 3 May I received notification from Murano Glass Italy that my order had been shipped and that the order was complete.
On 4 May I received an email from UPS to say that the delivery would arrive the next day: 5 May
On 5 May when tracking the order, the UPS status was that they were still waiting to receive the package. I wrote to Murano Glass Italy to ask for clarification.
On 6 May the parcel status had not changed so I wrote again to ask for an update.
At end of day on 6 May I wrote restating that the parcel status on Murano website was, "Completed" and yet the UPS status was, "Awaiting package" and that if I did not hear from them by end of day on 7 May I would be asking for a refund.
On 7 May I received a notification from UPS that the parcel would be delivered on 8 May. I also received a notification from UPS that extra taxes in the form of import fees were due on the order, which was a surprise. I wrote to Murano to ask for an explanation of this charge which hadn't been pointed out to me when I placed the order.
On 8 May the parcel was delivered.
To date I have received no response from Murano Glass Italy to any of my emails. Very poor ie no communication from the company which has spoiled the experience of buying the item of jewellery.
