Awesome, Music Info is absolutely amazing, I'm promoting my new single with Han Zang and Juri. Both are the ultimate professionals and did a great job of making me understand exactly what they do!!!! I'm new music producer and artist MO BAGZ of Baltimore and my new hip-hop act is (SHUTchaDOWN) being released on June 19th on DSPS and RADIO worldwide on WMG/ ADA / DEKO ENT AN UMBRELLA LABEL OF WARNER MUSIC GROUP.

Please don’t use this scam site, I was promised to get paid but never happened which is fake and scammed

I use MusicInfo with my Musiclabel Vier Sterne Deluxe records since 2022 now and I am very satisfied with what we experienced so far.

- They do have a very great support, that helped with small and big problems, when needed - not like other bigger companies. Distution of the music is quick and easy most of the time.

- Distribution to Chinese stores are cool and with exclusive deals for stores, new listeners can be found, provided that the songs are uploaded with an (additional) Chinese title. This is not mandatory but it helps a lot.

- We also apriciate the openness of MusicInfo, where exactly they distribute to. In my nearly 15 years of making music, I and my collegues saw a lot of companies that only listed the bigger stores/partners on the site. At one point, we had to count the stores, where we saw an album I made, to get a real overview of where we got listed. Here we know exactly where we land on.

- MusicInfo or their partners do Chart registration - at least here in Germany. with other distribution services, we do mot get this and it is as a small label nearly impossible to get accsess to the right tools or even formats for the registration. We actually tried it that way. Some other distributors charge for that extra or do not offer that at all. Also the distribution to the Deutsche Nationalbibliothek is a legal requirement for every German artist or label, that many people vorget. We are glad, that they do this with our digital work, because the bureaucracy for digital content there is weird.

- What I also like, but we haven't tried out yet, is the musicvideo distribution. MusicInfo is one of only a handfull companies, that actually does that. Admittedly, they only distribute to Apple Music/Itunes for the west, but I like to see other musicvideo platforms in the future distributed to.

Do to beeing a small company, one time prices and fees are higher then other companies, but specially for Labels and legacy content, it is very great. I rather spend more money on a small company with a great support and take away a lot of (paper)work, rather then less for none or not helpfull support.

Of cause there are also definetley things to improove.

- The Dashboard and setups are not really great to use and may have some hickups when creating a release.

- An option to opt out of YouTubes Content ID System would be great when setting up a release. Like just a checkmark with "Opt me in for Youtube content ID". Atm you need to write an E-Mail to manually remove it. Specially with leased beats or other contract that vorbid Content ID it can be difficult.

- There is an problem, when distributing the same song twice (like Song as a Single and part of an Album), the ISRC can not exist twice in the current UI. This bug is already known to the MusicInfo Team, but sadly it has/could not been fixed as of writing. They have a go around, but it is annoying.

- MusicInfo should update the payout way. Atm an Artist/Label has to do an invoice via PayPal. An easier way, like a withdrawing page, that transfers the money to PayPal or bank account would be a better way. (IBAN exist)

One of my works " Dialogue " was distributed by them years ago all over China. Years has gone and nothing happened. Do not waste your time ( and money ) with them, go elswhere, where you are appreciated.

MusicInfo is awesome. They assist you in getting your music to all Chinese streaming platforms, and now have offered Global Distribution to all DSPs. Their team is incredibly helpful and responsive, and I recommend MusicInfo for anyone looking to go truly global.

This company is a sham and a scam. It had taken almost $400 a few months ago and has literally done nothing while not only blaming some odd thing about code which is not real, they also referred to someone as 'unstable'. To refer to someone as unstable for asking for money that is due to them is like drug addicts act when they owe i6ts dealer money. They yell at them. Set the scam and thievery aside, they did nothing but waste three months. thats three months without revenues. Three months we could have been elsewhere. Overall, they are thieves. They have taken the money. Called us names for wanting it back and asking for it over and over and over and they refuse to do it. We have never received any refund. They wasted over three months which again, is thousands of USD in lost revenues waiting and waiting. They are weak people for using name calling but also, the platform does not even work. The entire reason to have what is an ISRC is to have it carry over where the song goes. These people state it wont work because they are duplicate which is the only reason to have an ISRC and a UPC. With this weak platform, you can accumulate sales. And again, they charge you for this which is fine if they ever did anything. There site and platform lacks SUBSTANCE and again, it does not even remotely work. THREE (3) weeks of waste. They also use another platform. Its part of this illegal pyramid scheme wrapped up in some digital bow because its horrible. W3ell its fake. Nothing they say on its website and nothing they say in writing is real. Its all lies. They lied so many times in writing. THIS IS IN REPLY TO THAT REPLY....THEY PROVIDED REFUNDS? LOL. WAS THAT AFTER THE BANK TOOK BACK THE MONEY BECAUSE YOU REFUSED TO DO IT ACCORDING TO AN EMAIL SENT TO US? YOU ARE LYING AGAIN WHICH I GET THAT YOU HAVE TO LIE. YOU COULD NOT DO THE WORK. YOUR PLATFORM DOES NOT ALLOW DUPLICATE CODES (ISRC AND UPC). YOU LIED ABOUT IT TO GET TWO ACCOUNTS AFTER YOU WERE ASKED ABOUT IT WAY BEFORE ANY PAYMENT WERE MADE UIN THE FIRST PLACE. YOU ARE ALSO LYING NOW. ITS A DUMB LIE BECAUSE ADMITTING THAT YOU FAILED IS RATHER OBVIOUS (IE: IF YOU ARE REFUNDING MONEY FOR TWO ACCOUNTS, SOMETHING IS DRASTICALLY WRONG FOR GODS SAKES). YOU NEED TO GET OUT OF THE MUSIC INDUSTRY. YOU ARE PART OF A PRYAMID SCHEME. YOU HAVE ZERO TRACK RECORD. YOU WASTE PEOPLES TIME. YOU WASTE MONTHS WORTH OF NOT BEING ABLE TO CREATE REVENUES. YOU TRY TO STEAL MONEY WHICH IS IN WRITING MIND U...THIS IS A PATHETIC AND GROSS COMPANY THAT NEEDS TO GET OUT OF THE MUSIC INDUISTRY. THIS IS WHY THE MUSIC INDUSTRY IS FAILING TODAY. ITS BECAUSE OF COMPANIES LIKE THIS THAT HAS TO STEAL AND SCAM PEOPLE WHEN ITS HARD ENOUGH TO DEAL IN THIS INDUSTRY. AND THEN LIE ABOUT IT. THE REASON WE COULD NOT WORK TOGETHER IS BECAUSE THAT PLATFORM CAN'T ADD IN AN ISRC OR A UPC THAT HAD BEEN USED BEFORE. THATS WHY WE CANT WORK TOGETHER SO BE CLEAR. THEY ARE PART OF THAT PYRIMID SCHEME. i AM NOT EVEN SURE WHAT THEY ARE ALLUDING TO HERE BESIDES SHOWING THAT THEIR PLATFORM DOES NOT WORK.

Great service for overseas like China, I have received 80k views in the first year and it's growing fast. Only thing is I warn you NEVER use the Other Distribution (western stores YouTube ect...) if you have a manual YouTube channel where you already upload you music, if you use the western stores service, the copyright claiming is extremely aggressive and will lead to a channel strike, you will obviously still get the royalties through the distributor connected to musicinfo.io being Kontor Music Group, but just be weary not to use the western distribution if you already have some of the same content uploaded on YouTube. The customer assistants are good but the problems will take a while to have resolved.

UPDATE -
a representative did reach out to me correcting this error - so the 20% fee is now only for the non-member years. Still a bit severe in my opinion, but i do appreciate them making the change. increased to 3 stars... their artist portal still leaves much to be desired, but overall they are an honest company with potential.

Would not recommend. I have used this service for about 3 years now and finally reached the threshold to withdraw funds. They are charging a 20% fee on the entirety of my royalties because I did not renew their yearly membership, even though almost all royalties were earned while a member.

I have been using this distribution and promotion service for over 3 years now with multiple artists and releases. Every time I try to distribute or promote they screw up. My last release the albums were removed the day after release and went missing for the first week of release. Their promo tools are scams and will not follow instructions, and even email you saying they did not follow instructions and you need to accept that. They are terrible with their fake promotional marketing and their distribution is so-so at best. Do not use this service

Musicinfo is the best distributor to Chinese and S.Korea market. Good and fast support, helping in whatever question arised. Using their promotion service, I received more I expected. Five stars and thumb up from me !

I discovered MusicInfo few months ago thanks to an online financial magazine and I don't regret because MusicInfo team (especially Han who is my usual correspondent) is very kind and always helps for any question and fix any problem.
I already sent to most Chinese stores 7 compilations (remaining 3 more ones) of 50 tracks through MusicInfo service and I of course recommend them.

Musicinfo is definitely the way to go when you want your music to be heard in China!! As a fairly unknown, emerging artist, my ROI exceeded my expectations. In fact, it's the ONLY service that made more money than I invested, so far. Oh, and their communication skills are awesome as well. They're really helpful in explaining how things work.

I have joined MusicInfo late in 2018 and now my music is live with major music distributors in Mainland China.

I had amazing service from Musicinfo.io. All the questions I had were answered within 24 hours even before I did signup with them. The market is so big, that no wonder it takes some time to get the statistics done. Once I made a question on the weekend and I got an answer, before Monday morning, outside business hours. Easy Access to music networks in China. Before I released my music on Spotify and Apple I was intrigued by the possibility to release my music specifically to the music networks in China. Amazing helpful team, very kind and friendly :) I am glad to be with Musicinfo

I tried, there was streaming, but for us artists the return is very poor! Both in terms of revenue...it's absolutely nothing and in terms of audience following! I think that all these sites like yours don't make a lot of money and don't bring us anything! pity ....

Not been a great success for me so far only 1 stream in two years ,but may give it one more go and throw a bit more money at it.
