Attended an event Friday 27/09/2024

Attended an event Friday 27/09/2024, 8pm Leonardo Royal hotel London St Pauls.

The event did not exist. The staff at the hotel said that this had happened before. So people came to attend an event but it does not exist so it is not the first time.

So no one in the hotel knew about the event going on. The hotel staff say it could be a scam

You can't get a refund as well as stated when booking.

If the event was real someone at the hotel would have known about it. There was no host. If the event was cancelled last minute, us clients/customers should have been notified

THIS COMPANY IS A PROPER SCAM

My daughter informed me today that this company has not been in contact with her, despite their repeated texts promising to get in touch. This has been going on for three weeks.
I paid them £300 to receive a service, but my daughter has only received one photo from them so far, and she was not fond of the fact that the person worked away.
My daughter asked if I could speak with them since she was so upset. I called them today, but the call ended up on the answering machine. After that, I texted them, and they responded that they would call me at lunchtime, but I know from experience that they won't.
After a lot of persistence, I was finally informed that I was being rude, that they would not be dealing with me, and that I would not receive my £300 back. They claimed that this was stated in their terms and conditions, but to the best of my knowledge, they haven't even provided a suitable service.
My call was never returned, and they are now completely ignoring me.
I've learned that I'm not the only one who has gone through this and that many of you have encountered similar difficulties after reading through all of the comments on this page and Google reviews. Undoubtedly, this company is a scam; instead of providing a service, they are just keeping the money for themselves.
Although I am aware that I will never see the £300 again, anyone considering doing business with this company should take note of this.  I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM PRACTICALLY ANYWHERE. Sincerely, I hope they are apprehended or that the Trading Standard looks into this.

This is a scam, pls don't use !!

Joined their match making services paid for the 3 months and been working with a guy called Ahmed Musa. He has mentioned dates when matches will be sent and each time does not share an update which means I had to chase him. The service is not professional and they lack basic courtesy on meeting their own timelines. I have asked several times for a refund and spoke to a guy called Jake who made excuses for his friend Ahmed. I mentioned to him i would have preffered honesty and for them to use realistic timelines they can meet. I wish I read these reviews first before spending so much money on this. This is a scam and I have never seen such behavior before. Why would they not have the basic manners to give updates if they cant meet their own deadlines
Will make a formal complaint and hopefully no one else goes through this. I am worried about my personal data now that a few people said its a scam :(

Awful

Awful. Complete con do not attend. They do not provide food , drink & the event was held in a public place amongst the general public. Attendee out the 6 males there 4 had been given free ticket due to issues on past events & were very young. With only 2 genuine male attendees. The event organiser is a maverick who is misspelling, false advertising just to make money at Muslim expense. He isn’t even Muslim a guy called Jake apparently. I had called him to complain & he didn’t respond.

Muslimlove Fake events on Eventbrite - fraudulent scam

londonsinglemuslims.com
muslimlovematch.co.uk

Muslimlove uses eventbrite to organise fake events and cancel/reschedules the events hours before they start. When you contact the event organiser in request for a refund for wasting your time going to fake events. They initially promise the refund and then then waste time so that after 45days they do not give you your money back.
Its a fraudulent scam! and eventbrite seem to support the organisation to still set up fake event pages where they take our money.

Very poor

I’d never heard of this company before but stumbled across their speed dating events on Eventbrite. An early bird ticket was £20.00 plus the £2.15 Eventbrite fee, and they were offering the opportunity to meet 20-25 single Muslim women in London and spend 4-5 minutes speaking to each woman. The reality was that there were only 7 women who attended and marginally more men. You would expect one or two dropouts on the day but only meeting 7 women when it was advertised that you would meet 20-25 is pretty poor. And despite the reduced numbers on both sides the organisers didn’t extend the amount of time each pair had to talk. I spoke to someone who attended a previous event who said this mirrored their previous experience with far fewer numbers attending than advertised. I think a combination of the fact they put on events so regularly, and the fact they don’t have a large following/reach, means their events are unlikely to ever result in you meeting 20-25 women/men. And they know this but don’t have an issue misleading people.

MuslimLoveMatch is my first experience…

MuslimLoveMatch is my first experience with a matchmaker. Ahmed is very professional, passionate about his work and has been responsive in communication. It is clear that he has experience with matchmaking and can be good insight into the complexities of dating.

(I would warmly recommend this company. At a very complex, confusing and difficult time in my life it gave me the confidence I needed to start dating again. They also helped me understand myself and what I wanted better. The staff is competent and engaging and they really listen to you. Their advice is sound, honest, pragmatic and dealing with them is lovely, heartwarming and fun.🤩🤩

A bunch of bullies/robbers selling you fake dreams whilst the event itself was run by liars, completely unorganised!

Been to this event...

The Organiser called Mo, was very condescending and rude.

The event was unorganised and no one to be found in your own age bracket.

I was sold a fairy tale... I would never spend a single penny with these thieves.

You should be ashamed of yourselves for calling this a Muslim event as your own attitude was not how Muslims should treat one another.

Hope you guys enjoy my hard-working £45 and I hope you sleep better at night! You Crookes!
...

Please don't waste your money on these events hosted by this organiser.

You are best of installing MuzMatch. For a better chance of finding a soulmate.
