We love to see him, very independently, complete his puzzles, read his books, build a tiny structure with his Duplo blocks on the MUtable, or even when he is simply carrying his little chair to join us around the coffee table for our family apéro time.
It is indeed a kit that helps your child become the little independent wonder of a being that he or she is.

I understand that customer service experience may vary, but seriously the product is amazing!!! I dare anyone to say the opposite.
First of all it is real wood which is incredible compared to anything else on the market! The lines and colors plus all the extra games and accessories, 4 heights, not sure what more one can ask!
The price is not cheap, yet it is much more affordable than any other design table on the market and compared to them it offers plenty of extra value with its included features plus all the add-ons that can be bought afterwards.

I ordered the MUtable with 2 chairs. The quality is great, it looks amazing wherever I put and the most important, my girl loves to play on it. It arrived in few days. Puzzle board had a defect so I had to contact customer service. They replied immediately and they sent me a new board immediately. Great great experience!

Great products but delivery 5 months after promised date
Great products, my son absolutely loves the Mutable table+lego scenarios and hero playhouse... HOWEVER the delivery was catastrophic (ordered on 18th November 2018 for Christmas, arrived mid-March the next year!!!), with weird excuses from the customer service every time I would contact them to know where were the goods (an accident in the warehouse, then issues with tracking system, etc.); it just felt like poor planning or that the company was too small at the time and took more orders than they could fulfill.
Even if we do like their items til today (still too expensive in my opinion though), I wouldn't recommend them because of the bad experience I had with delivery and customer support.

DANGER - Poorly made chair legs makes kids fall!!!
My son kept falling on these chair legs and hitting his head. The problem is that they are tapered at the bottom, which makes the legs very unstable. So, my son has to sit with both legs spread out to ensure he doesn't fall. I wanted to return it when it arrived, but the customer service is horrible, and basically they refused to return it. The instagram ads make it look clever and innovative, but don't fall for their gimmicky marketing campaign. You're better off getting solid chairs that aren't tapered at the end (such a stupid idea). Plus, you're paying way too much to have your kid's head damaged by falling on hardwood floor. I wished I researched before buying this crappy product. Now I'm stuck with an expensive mistake.

We love our MUtable! Love the Montessori concept! The table is solid wood, well made and looks great. It shipped same week as ordered! I was surprised how fast it shipped since I read past reviews of items being shipped late. I did contact the company about a couple minor things that came damaged in shipping (2 activity disks) They got back to me within a few days and sent replacements free of charge once again within one week. Great costumer service, friendly, polite and understanding. Will be ordering more Mutable accessories in time.

I was also put off by the negative reviews but couldn't find a better table, so we took the precautions someone suggested of using Paypal. We ordered the new dove grey table, two chairs and a toybag. The goods were dispatched on a Thursday and were trackable via Parcelforce once in the UK, the table and bag turned up Monday (yes, only 5 days from Italy) and the two chairs the day after. The items are sturdy and our only issue was that the changable table tops protruded slightly at one side so the thinnest tabletop (road and animals) slid off easily but we put a couple of metal washers under the leg brackets and it's fine now, obviously not ideal to be doing DIY on a £200 table but not worth the hassle of trying to get it fixed as a minor issue. Our toddler loves putting things down the hole in the middle and the chalk board is really good. Megabloks fit on the Duplo side so that is good too. It's a shame the plywood top doesn't match the beech legs but overall it's decent quality. Not much assembly required, the legs just twist on.

Of course, they don't allow you to leave a review directly on the website, therefore they are either cherry picking or making up reviews...

High quality product with a good client support
I have to say I was a bit afraid when I saw the previous negative comments. But I think many things have chenged and improved since the launch of this project. I ordered a table + 2 chairs + 2 accessorize in May 2019 and I have to say everything was perfect. The communication was great and very quick, I had to delay the shipping which was done with no problems. The quality of the product is very high which reflects the higher price, everything is solid and looks very resistant. My son loves playing on the table especially with the lego/duplo tower. I definitely recommend and will probably order some more accessorize for my children.
Scam!
Purchased a bundle in the FIRST kickstarter round back in 2017, since it was a absolutely brilliant concept.
Spent over €750 for the bundle (which was apparently the early bird price).
As like everyone else, had the same shipping delay issues, but i was ok with this, as was being kept informed and can understand the challenges of worldwide logistics.
Table finally arrived late 2018, followed by few other bits and pieces over the following months.
Firstly the chairs were quite underwhelming.
Brought 2, 1 for my 3 year old and one for a potential 2nd child.
Was expecting something much more sturdy and not those little stools i could get from ELC for less than £20. My now 4 year cannot sit on it as the chair keeps losing balance and tipping over. This chair is too small for my small 4 year old, it most certainly wont make it to 8 years old.
Its 2019 now and I am still awaiting the silicone cover for the table.
In the mean time the table paint finish had spilt within the 1st few months of use.
The plastic play boards have warped and frayed.
The toy bag holder wont stay on the hooks and drags on the floor.
I have raised my concerns to Mukako but they maintain their response that these are damages caused by myself and are not covered by the warranty.
Absolutely appauled by this response and unhelpfulness.
And of course gutted as i thought that yes i am paying way too much for the product that i would at least receive a service to satisfaction.
Now i have a rubbish table and chairs that will not even last another year, let alone 8 years as expected.

I ordered a table and a chair in December. I received the chair first and never received the table. I begged for 3 months for the table then started begging for a refund for both the table and chair since i no longer wanted to deal with them nor a reminder of the terrible mistake I made in choosing this for my child....and every time I asked they said they will get the table sent. I finally got someone to agree to a refund and I told them I wanted a refund for the chair as well because I no longer want it because the never sent the table. They said they wouldn't because i would have needed to return it in 14 days but after lots more begging and threats, a lot more back and forth they agreed they would have their company collect the chair and issue the refund. Still waiting. How are none of these bad reviews on their website!
Lovely product marred by terrible service
TL;DR: Lovely product but unreliable communications, inefficient delivery arrangements and poor customer support meant for a stressful and exasperating experience overall
I should note that I ordered this product through the second Kickstarter so a little different from ordering via the retailer's website. However, the order was placed in May 2018 with shipment promised in September 2018 -- the intention was for this to be a Christmas gift.
Delivery then became October, then November, then December. I emailed a number of times to request delivery details - since we're talking about a furniture delivery (by that point) just before Christmas when everyone is busy and it therefore needs to be organised properly. The information provided was vague and the courier used was ParcelForce (meaning no delivery updates/windows/real-time tracking). Ultimately this meant we couldn't get it in time for Christmas.
Querying delivery times on Facebook led to me being called a liar by their official account. I've noticed that most of the negative comments on their social media channels are deleted, while the reviews on the retail website are all five stars. I find this, and their overall "not our fault, it's all due to circumstances/warehouse/accident/courier/being a small/young business" attitude, very disingenuous.
I do have (most of - another tedious story) my order now and the product is lovely, of seemingly high quality (time will tell), and my children enjoy playing with it. But my overall impression is coloured by what has been a terrible customer experience - especially given that their target audience is parents buying for kids. I would assume that most people ordering what is a fairly expensive item are doing so for a special occasion (e.g. orders in November are pretty likely to be Christmas gifts). However the company seems to think that having a lovely product is enough - it's really not.
Certainly had I known the product wouldn't come on time for the obvious special occasion I would have asked for a refund and bought something else. Surely most parents only want (or can only justify the expense of) the lovely product if it will come in time! Mutable need to work on distribution and communication as well as product innovation. Lovely product or not, at the moment I couldn't recommend them to anyone in good conscience.

Like the other reviewers I agree this is a company to avoid. They seem to spend their time building hype behind their product instead of fulfilling customer orders.
the product looked good and even though I thought it quite expensive for what it is I went ahead and ordered a table and chairs set on 18th Nov. I was originally told shipping takes about 10 days. On the 28th Nov I had heard nothing since my automated order received message, so queried the status of my order. On the 29th I was told shipping takes about 10 working days but maybe a few extra days due to the high volume. On the 5th Dec I still hadn't heard anything and asked for an expected shipping date. First, they told me they can't provide a specific date but the warehouse is doing its best. 2 hours later I am told it's being prepared for shipping and expected to arrive 11th - 18th December.
15th Dec I received an email that it seems several customers also received about an 'accident' in the warehouse, which resulted in my order being damaged. They were now out of stock and could now won't be delivered to 'mid-Jan' but they did offer me a €30 voucher (which would have expired before the original order was delivered).
I couldn't understand how my order had been damaged about 9 days after it was being prepared for shipping, so I asked for some more details on this accident and if they could ship part of the order. I received no response, asked for a refund, no response. Fortunately I had paid via Paypal and I was able to raise a claim with them and finally got a refund.
Since then I have been bombarded with Ads on Facebook for Mutable and have provided comments each time to warn other customers (each time very polite just stating facts). They have deleted all of my comments and have now blocked me from commenting further.
Its a shame as it looks like they have a good product, but they really need to invest in supply chain and customer support, instead of launching more and more kickstarter campaigns and product add ons. In the end, I bought a similar product from a different supplier, not as many features but it was delivered 2 days after ordering and for close to a third of the price.

I wrote a disappointing post yesterday on Mutable Facebook page and it has been removed by Mutable who clearly want to hide behind the awful company they are.
Great concept and wish it had been developed by people actually care about their customers; happy to take the money and not deliver. They are not cheap by far but we invest in our children.
I placed an order in November and am yet to receive my complete order. It's a joke. If you can't handle the volume get more resource or at least be transparent with your customers who have committed a large amount of their hard earned money to buying Mutable products!!!

We ordered the extension table full package for our kids for Christmas. Half of the stuff was missing. You can only email customer service, which so far has been horrible!!!!! Some parts will not be delivered till end of April! There is no number to contact. Our kids love the table, just wish we had the complete order to actually play with everything. I would not recommend ordering this for any special occasion in case you have to wait a LONG time like we have.
Poor service, massive Christmas disappointment, need to focus on delivery of existing orders not new products and kick starter campaigns
Spent over £250 on a table mid-November as a Christmas present for our 3 children. Delivery on the website states 5-10 days, heard nothing until early December when we moved house so contacted them and asked to update our delivery address. On visiting the site to log this change, we noticed they were showing were now sold out for 2018.
We were then updated after a few days to say the order was being prepared for shipping, followed by a further update a week later on the 15th December saying there had been an accident in the warehouse and our table had been damaged and that as they were sold out they could not deliver for Christmas.
This message was not personalized which implied they were notifying a lot of people, and asked us to fill in a form stating our order number, name, email address and preference as to whether we wanted a full refund or wait until mid-January for the item and a 30EUR credit to spend on something in their store and almost used it as an opportunity to plug new products being launched in the new year.
We contacted them to express our disappointment and concern and have heard nothing. Still we have no idea when the item we ordered in November will arrive, and as this was a Christmas present left us with limited time to arrange an alternative.
It appears they do a lot of Kickstarter campaigns and launch new products frequently, and whilst this is exciting and no doubt earns lots of attention and fills order books upfront at minimum risk, it doesn't appear they have managed to find the right balance between customer service, order fulfillment and creativity in product development.
Based on our experience, we would not recommend this company. It's nearly 2 months since we ordered and we're yet to receive a product, any form of update since the "warehouse accident" or the credit they offered for the significant delay and disappointment. We also note they only have 5* reviews on their website, use Facebook for most of their communication (which we do not use) and hence we have chosen to leave our review here.
