My experience of ‘Generative AI for business applications’ was awesome! I enjoyed the learning format, extremely well-curated by experienced teachers and mentors. The level of detailing in the curriculum and case studies, worked just right for me as a finance professional. This course has made me proficient to have meaningful business conversations for implementation of Gen AI that deliver value at my workplace. I’m very grateful to Great Learnings team and professors of University of Texas at Austin, for this brilliant learning journey!

I have over 14 years of experience in the IT industry. Currently, working with a finance institute and specialize in the Master Data Management (MDM) domain. Over the years, I have always been passionate about learning new technologies that can improve the way we work and solve problems in the industry.

I first learned about the JHU Applied Generative AI program through LinkedIn. With the rapid growth of Artificial Intelligence, especially Generative AI, I realized that it is becoming an essential skill for professionals across all industries. I wanted to understand how AI can be practically applied in real-world scenarios and how it can assist professionals in their day-to-day work. This motivation led me to enroll in the program.

My learning experience throughout the six-month journey was excellent. The program was well structured, practical, and highly relevant to current industry trends. The faculty from Johns Hopkins University were outstanding and explained complex concepts in a very clear and engaging manner. The mentors were extremely knowledgeable and supportive, and they made sure that every participant understood the topics deeply.

One of my favorite parts of the program was the hands-on learning approach. Working on practical examples and real-world use cases helped me understand how Generative AI can be applied in different domains. I especially appreciated learning about building AI-powered applications and understanding how these technologies can be integrated into existing business workflows.

My key takeaway from the JHU Applied Generative AI program is that Generative AI can significantly enhance productivity and decision-making when used correctly. The program helped me understand how to use AI as an intelligent assistant to support daily work in the industry. It also gave me the confidence to explore AI-driven solutions within my own domain.

I really didn't know what to expect when I signed up for this course. I have a coding background, but opted for the "No Code AI and Machine Learning: Building Data Science Solutions" course to learn about the different types of AI without having to focus on programming languages. I found the course relevant, the faculty highly knowledgeable, and the modules in-depth. Multiple areas of AI were discussed, the learning materials were excellent, and the hands-on projects cemented the learning.

I truly enjoyed this AI and Machine Learning course. It was a novelty for me and a stimulating intellectual challenge that pushed me to think in new ways. The content was engaging and introduced important concepts in a field that is increasingly shaping our world.

One aspect I particularly appreciated was the support from Simran, who was always attentive, responsive, and eager to assist students whenever help was needed. This level of engagement made the learning experience even more rewarding and encouraging.

The course offered valuable insights and motivated me to continue exploring AI and its applications. At times, some sections could benefit from clearer explanations or additional practical examples, which would make the learning experience even stronger. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I strongly recommend the course to anyone interested in developing their understanding of AI and machine learning.

My background is in international policy and AI governance, so before the program I understood the regulatory and policy side of AI but had almost no exposure to the technical and operational side. This course helped me bridge that gap and understand how generative AI systems actually function.

What I appreciated most was the practical, hands-on approach. The program explains concepts like models, embeddings, and real-world AI applications in a way that’s accessible even if you don’t come from a technical background--I came with zero coding knowledge.

I took a Generative AI course from Johns Hopkins University, which provided a great introduction to a wide variety of topics through well-structured material and easy-to-follow notebooks. I am on week 4 of my program and it has been a positive learning experience. I have learned a lot and I like have the mentored learning sessions every Saturday which help me understand the material. This course has been great and I highly recommend it to professionals in tech or want to learn more about AI/ML.

I just wrapped up an intensive AI/ML course and can’t recommend it enough. It provides a great end-to-end journey—starting with Python fundamentals and building up to the deployment of machine learning models. If you're serious about breaking into the field of AI, this is the foundational step you need.

This is very good course for people who are new to AI . The course starts from basic concepts to advanced machine learning . Self paced videos explains the concept very well and weekend live lectures helps you to clear any doubts. They also have good support team who are very quick to resolve any issue you face.
