nightmare delivery service
Every time i get packets with this company is a nightmare, their drivers are sooo unprofessional. they mark packages as client not found even if you set a storage location. one time it was raining and the delivery man didnt felt like walking 10 meters in the rain so he marked it as client not found in my face. and one time and i kid you not, opened the door entered a kids-toilet then left without delivering. to get your package delivered you need to call their customer service 3 times until you get a good person which will pressure them to make the delivery. man this is third country level delivery service 🤣

I actually created a Trustpilot profile just to leave a negative review for Hermes.
Do not use Hermes for deliveries. I repeat: do not use Hermes. My parcel has been stuck in Hannover for two weeks.
First of all, Hermes provides no way to speak with a human representative. Their automated chatbot is useless and cannot connect customers to human agents. Their WhatsApp service is the same bot, both for messaging and calls. They respond only with automated emails. There is no human interaction whatsoever. There are also no customer service phone numbers available for speaking to a real person.
Secondly, their advice is that this is the sender’s responsibility. However, their own tracking data shows that the parcel is in their possession in Hannover. The seller is a private individual and tried to initiate the search process, but the parcel shop failed to do so.
It is astonishing that a company can simply lose items belonging to private individuals (quite valuable items, mind you) and take no responsibility whatsoever. Based on my interactions with Hermes, I have developed a theory that this is part of their corporate strategy. Somehow, it must be cheaper to wear customers down than to actually deliver parcels. How this can be sustainable in the long term remains a mystery.
Two failed deliveries, zero accountability
All I wanted was a fridge. That's it. A fridge! but hard to buy on in this place.
First delivery attempt: given a 7–11 AM window, stayed home the entire time, nothing arrived. Called at 13:27 — I have the phone record — and was told by customer service that they had absolutely no idea where my delivery was. No apology. No explanation. Just we will tell you later. That LATER was A WEEK later, when they couldn't deliver because elevator wasn't working anymore. How is that my problem? It was working on the 6th when you were supposed to deliver initially!!
Oh, and their live tracking? Didn't work either. Bullshit function.
I keep asking myself: why is every single service like this? All I wanted was to buy a fridge. Is that really so much to ask in 2026?!

I am filing a formal complaint regarding shipment 02092857001093. A severe sorting error occurred: my shipping label was pasted on top of another customer's package (containing books instead of my RAM stick). I have photographic evidence of the overlaid labels. As the originating carrier, you are responsible for this sorting failure. I demand a formal investigation and a 'Loss/Damage Report' so I can proceed with my refund.

Even one star is too generous in this case! Should have gotten a parcel delivered yesterday, but the delivery person didn’t even bother to ring, which is a standard for Hermes. I’d be find with picking it up at a store somewhere, but the driver noted that I’ve already declined to accept the parcel and now it is on the way back to Spain! Just lovely!

I had a very poor experience with Hermes.
They failed to deliver my package and then returned it to the sender even though there is a parcel shop located on the same street as my address.
Throughout the process, there was no clear communication, no precise delivery information, and no meaningful tracking updates.
Given the circumstances, I seriously question whether a proper delivery attempt was made at all.
Overall, this was a frustrating and unreliable service experience. It is surprising to me how a company operating like this is still able to stay in business.

Hermes are always extremely pathetic in delivery. It should be removed from delivery stream. They never deliver anything. They dont know to find an address. So pathetic. Even though the address is defined so clearly, they cannot find it and they send it back before even asking for paket shop pick up even. They should close their service if they don't know to deliver. I am ashamed to even give this one star in here. Someone please remove them from delivery industry. There should be a choice for the customers to choose their own delivery partner while ordering online.

This is not the first time this has happened with Hermes. Completely unreliable service. I expect a proper investigation and clear proof of delivery.

POOR EXPERIENCE
We had a very poor experience with Hermes delivery. Despite providing the correct PIN code initially, we were contacted again to provide it, and then it was incorrectly recorded as part of the address, which created confusion and required us to contact customer support.
To avoid a wrong delivery, we agreed to collect the parcel in person. However, when we arrived, the trolley bags were visibly scratched, and one was damaged.
Overall, this experience showed a lack of proper handling and coordination. I would not recommend using Hermes for sending valuable or fragile items.
Appalling service
Appalling service. The parcel was never delivered. No notification by post. The online status is updated every few days. After waiting two weeks for delivery, without any notification whatsoever, judging by the cities listed in the status, they simply sent the parcel back to the sender. It’s an absolute shambles. All decent companies have had their entire logistics chain sorted out for ages. I wouldn’t recommend Hermes
