I was very shocked by how little care my dad received from this hospice agency. The nurse only came once every 2 weeks and she was in and out in about 5 minutes - she rarely took vital signs or looked at my father’s skin or inside his mouth. The aide never cleaned his mouth either. One day his house smelled awful and it turns out he had an infected tooth that spread to his gums. Poor dad had a fever and was in terrible pain. I decided to change hospice services that same day and am glad I did. His new agency is very attentive and covered an in-house dentist visit. They even offer music and massage therapy twice a month! Trust me, steer clear of Lifechoice.
