Daily Mail just discontinue Nectar

Spin the wheel is a joke, this week alone I’ve ended up on five consecutive days: 1,2,2,1,1……previous weeks have not been a lot better outside of the first week of ‘spin’

Daily Mail…..just discontinue Nectar as not worth the effort, you have achieved what you set out to do.

Funny how you read other reviews and…

Funny how you read other reviews and this is exactly how things are turning out for me. Started collecting Nectar points on spin to win at Daily Mail at reasonable rates of winning scores. Now seven times on the trot it has been 4 points or less. A total fix, so I’m not going to bother wasting my time. Hope this review gets heard in right places. Might even consider buying another newspaper.

Definitely rigged

Definitely rigged. The first week the wheel “delivered” very encouraging results 90% being above the former 5 daily points. In the following week my daily average was well below the 5 points mark, and mostly 1 point per spin. I am firmly of the belief that the wheel is governed to pay out less than the previous 35 points per week.
Like much of the media these days …. Deceitful.

Nectar MyMail Change to Spin to Win

I have complained twice to MyMail regarding the change in April for customers collecting Nectar points to Spin to Win. Originally you collected a set 5 points per day entered, now the Spin to Win offers random points but includes totals of 1, 2 and 4 points. Over a period of around 5 weeks it has been noted that results have erred greatly on the lesser side of 5 points. Customers are definitely getting less points for their money IMO. Not happy with this system change at all, despite the flashy fanfare music.

Absolute scam

Absolute scam. Lots of points at the start to hook you in and then a measly 1 or 2 every day after. Stopped buying the paper now as I am sure a lot of people will

Disappointed with rubbish points

Disappointed! As mentioned by other readers we are disappointed with your fanfare of 1 point or 3 an average of 2/3 points yes when they kicked off this gambling wheel there were a few high points . The paper is now lowering it self into the gutter who do they think we are --STUPID--, As for the paper in it self articles repeat them selves full of adverts and puzzles absolute rubbish getting like the past News of the World, Either restore worthwhile points or get rid of them The page is only there fore the benefit of Advertisers to ride on the back of this page . As for Nectar points at this rate if you can scrap enough in time inflation in the supermarket will make them worthless. We as reader will move to other papers and not be loyal to your selves on a daily bases

Disappointed

Disappointed! As previously mentioned when it first started generous points awarded, now I'm very lucky to even get 5, it's usually 1 or 2 points and to hear a fanfare at that, absolute rubbish, it's a waste of time even bothering to put the numbers in! Gone are the days when we got 5 points in the week, 10 on Saturday and 15 on Sunday! Daily mail get rid of ridiculous spin the wheel!

Absolute rubbish

Absolute rubbish. Spin the wheel is just a con to reduce the number of nectar points earned. Averaging 1 point per day isn't worth it. Feel let diwn

It seems Daily Mail does not want to give you any nectar points, but decided to change it to golden wheel, and for the last 4 days it only gave 1 point. Not at all impressed with this paper although l have been reading it for years

A complete scam - disgusting.

Only 1 nectar point a day now with their new spin a wheel system. Today, to my amazement, it stopped on 20, then the screen flashed, and flicked to 1!
For a newspaper that is always exposing scams, this is disgusting. They think their readers are complete fools.
There is nothing worse than a company making an offer, and then being reluctant to honour it.

Spin the wheel is now a con

Spin the wheel is now a con with 8 numbers out of 12 worth 5 or less points. Quite clearly they do not want to award the 5 Nectar points anymore and so think they can fool people with this sharp trick.
Fortunately for me in two weeks time I am phoning the newsagent and ending my delivery of the mail and instead will save hundreds of pounds.

Do they think we are fooled!

I agree with the other reviewers. Daily Mail did not want to continue to award 5 nectar points for each unique number so introduced spinning the wheel. I have "earned" far less points under this new system.

I had entered the uniqueMA number

I had entered the unique number, pressed submit and the spin the wheel disappeared. The wheel would not re-appear so that I could spin it. I tried to enter the unique number again and it said you have already entered the unique number. So this is a deliberate scam that will occur sometimes so you miss out on any Nectar points. The first day I saw this new MailReward spin the wheel I just knew this would happen now and again. So I have proved myself right. I even got in touch with MyMail who were no help at all. Basically I will not get another chance to spin the wheel for Friday 19 May.

Disappointed

Years ago I could collect Mail points towards a meal. Then they became nectar points and you could collect 50 if you bought a weeks worth of papers, 15 for Mail on Sunday, 10 for Saturday and 5 a day for weekdays Then they reduced this to 5 a day every day with an occasional bonus if you entered a full week. When the wheel was introduced, I thought it was a way to reduce points even further. How right I was! First few spins weren't too bad but now it's 1 or 2 points a day. What a let down! How's out reducing the cost of the paper and stopping the points collection altogether.
