App and website are a disgrace. Can't log in without it crashing on website or app. Can't book seats without it crashing, can't progress with a booking without it crashing.
Been waiting for over an hour to get customer support, live agent is “looking” into my issue. Bought a blue light card voucher for a cinema, voucher says not valid, use voucher verifier and that sa... See more
Vue cinemas need to urgently put their customers first. Twice over Xmas we went as a family with their vouchers (only redeemable at their kiosks!!!) only to find they had sold out. It's purely cynica... See more

'Customer service' what a laugh
'Customer service'. Both words totally inappropriate. No customer service at all. Dreadful and painful website and a dreadful process to try and actually get a relevant answer or refund - even when the Vue cinema had been closed due to a 'building incident' and I couldnt see the film I'd purchased tickets for. Utter garbage. Shame you cant award 0 stars.
Unnecessarily difficult website
Unnecessarily difficult website. Changed booking when clicking ‘review and pay’ to a different screen, time and seats. Commented on the Vue help on twitter and had no response. No way to report it on their website as it’s just points you towards their Q and A. Went to the vue cinema to sort the issue and the cashier didn’t have a clue. How is Vue still in business? It’s not hard.
Hate queuing for tickets at Vue cinema…
Hate queuing for tickets at Vue cinema as they never have a queue just for tickets, all they are interested in is selling overpriced food and drink and the staff are so slow so I used the online ticket order.I should have known better as all my previous online bookings had failed. Arrived at the cinema only to be informed by the ticket machine that it could not issue my tickets(this has now happened four times) Ended up behind a dozen people in one of the many queues for tickets and food, after waiting ten minutes I saw the manager fixing a till problem and asked him why yet again the machine was not working. He gave me a frosty look and denied there was a problem when i challenged him about this he said I had an attitude and refused to deal with the problem so much for customer service. But as the old saying goes if you pay people peanuts you get monkeys ! So welcome to the Vue Zoo.

Why can’t Vue sort out their telephone enquiry system??? It’s is more than unusable, just sends you back to the internet booking and it’s impossible
So useless
Tried to buy 2 adult tickets online…
Tried to buy 2 adult tickets online (using Vodaphone 2 for £7 deal) and 3 child tickets for Frozen 2 at Inverness. Choose my seats and went to pay then the online system kept changing my order to 1 adult and 2 children and changing the seat. Was unable to book as there was 'a disturbance in the force'! Rang customer service, only to find I am 68th in the queue and there is a 1 hour wait. It's a 1 hours drive to Inverness for us and the movie starts in an hour now (oh and I have been waiting 45 min so far and I am only 27 th in the queue). Terrible system!!!
brain dead website
brain dead website, horrible phone system, they do not give a care!
Vue Westwood Cross
Vue Westwood Cross. Tried to book online. Unable to do so. Tried to call to book tickets and automated service sends me a link to ..., book online. Just dumbfounded
Vue Stroud Saturday 9th Nov 2019.
Vue Stroud Saturday 9th Nov 2019.
The auditorium was flthy with rubbish and popcorn all over the seats and floor.
Secondly, a torn arm had a metal spike coming through it that lacerated my arm several times. It has been like this for months.
Thirdly, it was at a guess 100F. Several people complained. Many stipped down to vests. The staff were utterly pathetic and useless.
To end, the film choice is so poor that we often have nothing to see. Kids stuff, superheros and horror run for months, with nothing for the rest of us. If you are looking at making yourselves bankrupt, Vue, you are doing a great job! Time to get some decent staff, and sort yourselves out before we stop coming altogether!
Sort out awful website
Awful. No way of actually getting through to a person. No way of using vouchers to prebook, so if the listing books out you can't see the film and end up being disappointed on arrival. Terrible system -- Vue sort it out!
Terrible phone service
I have never known such an infuriating telephone service! There appears to be no way to actually get through to a person. But I do now have a lot of links in my inbox that will "help me".
Very poor, hope nobody has a real issue that they need solving....
Stuck on Processing Payment...
After entering payment details and clicking Pay Now, it was stuck on "Processing Payment" and never timed out. Pretty terrible website for an online payment, doesn't seem to have taken the money but is really below standards for online payment sites.
Appalling website - will go to alternative cinema's or online
Appalling website, whether via mobile or on PC. No wonder Netflix and Amazon are deservedly eating into this cinema's market share.
Customer service telephone help is useless.
I am trying to change my email address. On my account overview I can change this, but it keeps telling me my date of birth is wrong. It isn't. So now I cannot change it. Customer services telephone service is useless.
Trying to book cinema ticket online
Trying to book cinema ticket online. Keeps defaulting to 2 tickets. It should default to 1, then u can add. Much harder than it should be to change to 1 ticket. Trying to put in super monday code, keeps adding a second higher cost seat and i am having great dificulty removing the second one. Finally got it to super monday price and now website has crashed . What a load of crap the website is
Made me worry for no reason
On Monday I ordered my tickets to see toy story 4 on Sunday, but didn't write down the reference number. I didn't recieve a confirmation email and when I went back onto the website my booking had dissapeared.
I emailed vue asking for a confirmation email. I told them what film, what time, what cinema and even what seats I'd booked. After giving them my email address 3 times (the same email address I was emailing them from) they said I didn't have an order and money is usually refunded in 5 working days. But the seats I'd booked were still showing up on the website as taken.
So on Friday I drove the hour journey to my local vue cinema, gave them the bank card I'd ordered with (didn't tell them about the emails) and guess what they gave me the tickets I'd ordered with no fuss. They had actually been processed so I wouldn't of been refunded.
Customer service had made me worry for no reason at all, when all I wanted was a confirmation email.
Great showing. Gift codes ok online now. Booking tickets still need improving.
Experience for show was grand. Great chairs/space and movie watching.
An update from a previous 3* review. The online purchasing experience is still broadly the same and convoluted.
However, you can now use online booking with gift online codes and no longer have a handicap to go to the cinema with them to buy a ticket.
In last popular movie experience we were lucky... we kept checking and refreshing online before we left and when we got to the cinema we got the last seats that would allow us to sit together! Too close, and I stopped using myVue for a while! I'm glad this is a thing of the past now.
Better now myVue! Still room to grow now sorting the UI/UX on the web site.
All to happy to take your money for nothing
Be sure to use your voucher within 12 months otherwise Vue consider it a donation to themselves and take the money. This is of course not stated on the voucher itself, it only says 12 months form the last transaction, so people are led to leave it does not expire. Just another cheating company. So much that gift.
Absolutely no customer service…
Absolutely no customer service whatsoever. No telephony help. Only online and text message response. Dreadful company, choose another cinemas brand.
£30 Out of pocket!
Tried to book £30 of tickets, payment went through, no tickets, VUE denied all knowledge. Customer service was non-existent!!!
I give VUE a wide berth, and go to ODEON instead.
