Sean Skeet provided excellent service on repairing and painting our farm barn. He did a fantastic job and nothing was too much trouble. We highly recommend him.

They obviously do not check those workmen on their site... There is absolutely no reassurances or help when these rogue workers take your money without completing a job. I've been left with a nightmare, worked is not qualified and has faulty equipment. This relates to Amir al-jabory. Myworkman has just let this rogue remain in its site...

Charged without the remainder of finishing trial! I asked the same day for a refund and did not hear anything from customer service at all !!! Big rubbish ...

Thank you Ian from Jobs are us. He gave me information concerning an electrical problem. Thanks to his advice my disabled son got his problem sorted within 48hrs. His advice was free, thank you. There are not many people who would phone you, kindness goes along way. Once again Thank You. 🙏

We hired Veteran Renewables through this site and what a total disaster it has been. Matthew Bergelin is the so-called MD and he constantly overpromised and underachieved. One of the men put his foot through our kitchen ceiling and did not fix it immediately, and there remains a hole in our kitchen ceiling. In the end, we had to tell them to stop, and the work that they had done was substandard and needs to be taken out and started again. We paid out £2840 to this lot and have been left feeling scammed and duped. My advice to anybody reading this is DO NOT USE VETERAN RENEWABLES LTD. MYWorkman does not vet companies on their site. My advice is to steer clear!!

Steve came to my house and we went through all the odd jobs I needed to be done, and we agreed a very fair price. He
came the following Saturday, and systematically worked his way through it. At all stages he double checked with me re placement of items, and tidied up when he had finished. I'm very pleased with the work, and will not hesitate to call him again for jobs around my house.

Went with Lords Carpentry and Build. Awful. Conned out of a substantial amount. Don't know how they sleep at night. Shocking work and dishonest. True shambles. AVOID. November-December 2024.

Very disappointed after some positive responses, for a small painting job we selected Kieran STUBBS from Caversham Doors & Windows. He turned up for the quote and also fixed a problem window for a reasonable fee. the painting job was for 575 but hé fraudulently misrepresented to my son that he had to be paid the deposit although this was immediately after I had paid the 50% deposit. Clearly a fraudster as then appointed day for the work - never arrived, zero contact and all the money now to be pursued through the courts. I am awaiting response from my workmen site but on reading these here - not expecting much - stay clear of this site and Kieran Stubbs.

leak on roof paid him £600 to mend the leak the leak is worse now. Do not use this guy hes a scammer robbing OAP hes a disgrace to legitimate roofers

Incompetent,untrustworthy greedy

Will from Power Maintenance Service called me after I posted a small job - he was happy to come and have a look, kept in touch about when he would arrive and was very helpful. Had what he needed in the van, did the job quickly and left no mess. I will use him again and recommend you do, too.

Florin Colceru replied to my advert very quickly, which was great as I marked it as urgent. He and his workman arrived the next morning and packaged up securely 2 large items of furniture and removed the legs, so it could be returned by a courier. He was polite and friendly and worked efficiently. Would definitely use him for other work too as saw photos of the different types of work he does...paving, building decorating etc. He was just who I needed when I had to get this done at short notice. So thank you

Please do not use JLR decorator leciester. He goes several names and uses several sites.
He will tell you sob stories sonto get money early abandon the job. Keeping money.
I have notified as many sites as i can. But i see hes still doing this.

Please take pictures of his so called work. Also all messages. He will most likely only say he can do WhatsApp. So he can block you.
Imagine if someone did this to your loved one .

Got a reply from Jack Cross jcelitecontractors asked for deposit to cover materials, booked appt confirmed it , asked relevent questions so seemed legit however no show and ghosting me now.

Steve was good at communication, he came when he said he would, the cost was reasonable he replaced the felt on my shed which had been leaking and did a couple of small repairs on it as well. I am pleased with the result, such an improvement.

Please avoid engaging with any contractor from this platform. I engaged C&T Roofing of Kent to do some roofing related works. I then engaged a roof survey from the NFRC to review the work undertaken. All the works were either not completely or undertaken to a very standard. I’ve advised My Workman of this and to date still haven’t heard anything. I’m now in the process of taking the same contractor to court.

Got three responses to my request for builders re a multi-thousand ££s job. Three replied - none turned up.
Total waste of my time.

It's significant that the My Workman website doesn't give any opportunity to feedback on their useless workmen - they'll never get any better.

Simon & Chris from SD home improvements worked very hard today even in the rain to re concrete part of my drive
They were very pleasant & helpful & professional
The cost was very reasonable
They even fixed a leaky gutter, re pointed our chimney stack & also replaced missing mortar under a roof ridge tile, all at no extra cost
I would have no hesitation in hiring these guys again
