Unreliable, terrible app. I never know whether the player will play! It stops at some point on every use either short interruption or just stops playing altogether. And its not my wifi at fault, that is stable as possible and i can play Internet radio through my tablet reliably but not through my QuB. The app is as user UNfriendly as possible.
I bought instead of Sonos, to support British firm and regret this every time I use it.
Would I recommend or buy from Naim again? NO

I had a complex question about input equipment: the answer was in less than 24 hrs, it was detailed and very helpful. Great product backed by equally stellar consumer service.

Bought an "old" Unitiserve on eBay to rip my CD collection as the 3 UnitiStars I had before that failed to do so without holes in the audio.
Heard that there was a firmware update (1.7c) which could only be sourced by a main dealer or Naim themselves.
I cheekily contacted Duncan Roberts who not only gave me the update package, a link to Burner software, and comprehensive instructions on how to achieve it. Fair play to him he didn't have to do this but it restored my faith in Naim (mostly😀).
So my Nova now has the US as a server as well as its own drives and fingers crossed all is well.
If R & D are reading this... Why can an 8 year old UnitiServe function perfectly for 485 rips and the Unitistar not (in my experience)?

Duncan Roberts is a God send. I am almost 70 years old and not that great technically. He is patient, explains clearly and has always had a solution to my issues, which have been a few. Nothing is too much trouble for him. Naim, you've got a gem working for you!

This British institution, Naim Audio, is one of our most valuable and brilliant audio companies in the Uk. Their products are expensive but I think they are worth every hard earned penny that I have invested. The quality of the fit and finish of each unit is exceptional but the electronics within those boxes is truly innovative and the sound, the ‘Naim Sound’, is lively, crisp in all frequencies. They require high quality monitors to truly manifest the musicality of the pace, rhythm and timing that Naim is so famous for. I started with the Muso QB2 and then bought a Muso , then a Uniti Nova, then the classic series. My systems are all a delight to use and listen to, and I never get listening fatigue with any of them. My friends are all genuinely impressed and interested in the quality of the musical presentation from the Musos to the classic series. An absolute joy. Would not want to nor could I live without them now. Essential part of my day to day life.

Absolutely Horrible Customer Service. My Uniti Core started resetting about 6 weeks ago. Contacted my dealer / retailer Moon Audio on 12/11. Process according to Website is to bring Unit to dealer for diagnosis and they will forward to Naim. Moon Aidio sent me Naim and said that was wrong. Worked with Naim UK for 5 days of troubleshooting only to determine what i already knew, my Unit needs to be repaired.
Naim tech support referred me back to Moon Audio who once again refused to take my equipment and instead provided me with three new forms of contact for Naim USA.
A website URL that brings you to a rabbit hole that only allows you to open an account. You cannot open a repair ticket.
A phone number that only allows you to leave a message. I started leaving messages on 12/18 and have yet to get a response from anyone.
An email address that only kicks back an automated email. Within that email is the same website URL mentioned above that brings you to the Rabbit Hole.
Now it has come to my attention that Naim has closed down their entire Global Operations from 12/22 to 1/2 for the Holidays.
Moon Audio just keeps sending me the above information no matter how many times i tell them that none of it helps. They did however reply to my email today just as they left for long weekend to tell me that both them and Naim are unreachable until next week. They did include the same 800 number that is not being monitored in the email as a contact number even though i have told them multiple times that i have been calling it since 12/18.
Hopefully you have read this before you bought anything from Moon Audio, Cary N.C. or Naim
1/5 Naim stopped responding to me from 12/17 up until 1/3 when they saw this Trust Pilot review. It is now apparent that they knew they had created thier own problem with an App update that would require an additional firmware update to restore the functionality of my equipment. They were only in touch with me until the 17th and chose to make me and the rest of thier customers wait until after the holidays to fix the problem thier software developers caused. Instead of releasing some sort informal announcement that they screwed up and were working on a fix. THEY WERE NOT IN TOUCH WITH ME THE WHOLE TIME LIKE THEY STATED THATS WHAT INFURIATED ME. THEY IGNORED MY CALLS AND EMAILS FOR OVER TWO WEEKS.

Had an issue to connect my Mu-so Qb 2nd gen to a new (pro) Wifi setup. Nothing seemed to work. Could get on the phone quickly with a knowledgeable and friendly Naim tech specialist (exceptional to be able to communicate by phone for more tricky set-up problems rather than a chat bot or by mail that is usually not or answered late - Kudo's!). Technical support/trouble shooting was excellent including support for network scan analysis. We finally managed to solve the issue (related to some uncommon settings in the 2,4GHz band set-up that caused a non-compatibility with Naim although my other audio equipment had no issue - perhaps something for a futute software update!)

In less than 24 hours since I contacted NaimAudio for an issue with the product, I received detailed information on how to solve it.
Problem was immediately sorted.
Thank you Naim Audio, not only for the quality of your products but also for the after sales support.

I love the build materials and sound quality of my Mu-So 2 and Mu-So Qb 2.
I waited years before I finally could justify the expense to myself, I'm very happy I chose Naim.

Purchased 6th September, review 19th October to allow for running in. From initial listening sessions comparing existing to proposed system over two days at my Naim dealer of choice, Audio T Portsmouth, to installation and commissioning by the same dealer in my own home, the experience has been terrific.
Very helpful and no pressure advice from Luke the new manager at Portsmouth.
Getting to the nitty gritty, does my new system sound better than my old? (Naim NAC-N 272 + NAP 250DR fed by Core and Linn LP12 feeding a pair of PMC Twenty 24's). Amps replaced by new Classic 200 series + 300 power supply. Initially it sometimes sounded worse but we were prepared for this as the system needs time to 'run in' after a week or two it was sounding quite nice and a step up from our previous system. After 6 weeks it's sounding fabulous, Tidal is especially good compared to the 272, and MM turntable phono input is also excellent, I wouldn't go back to our old system. Luke told us it could be 2 or 3 months before it sounds it's best.
Only negative thoughts are to do with the ZigBee remote and the small size of the input icons and how short they are displayed when selecting via remote plus the lack of a numbered keypad for selecting tracks, radio stations etc. I mean, it's a remote but from my listening position I have to get up and go to the preamp to see what input I've selected! Album art and what track is playing is quite clear though. Sadly the remote is only useful as a volume control in my opinion. I don't always want to fire up the iPad or phone to play iRadio or recorded music. In my view the ZigBee remote is an opportunity missed. How difficult would it have been to have added buttons for inputs as in your old remotes? A numbered keyboard could for instance select various play lists depending on the input.
I should add that the app works well on android but in my view the iPad version is easier to use, especially when editing Core recordings.

Had some AirPlay connection issues after an Apple software upgrade. Naim were extremely helpful in giving me some pointers on Apple settings which resolved the issue

My system has been Naim based for quite a number of years now and while the cost of upgrading is not 'loose change' the listening experience, to my ears, is sublime.
I've recently replaced my iPhone and after installing the Naim app, found my ND5XS2 streamer (entirely app reliant) was unresponsive. My iPad had an older version of iOS and this continued to work flawlessly.
I searched the Naim Forum but couldn't find a solution after which I made a telephone call to Naim Technical Dept. I've had to resort to this on several previous occasions, once just for upgrade advice. I have always found the staff to be exceptionally helpful and this time was no different.
The staff member was extremely helpful, personable and patient. I was guided through the likely 'default' settings on the new iOS 17 and invited to ring back if these failed to resolve my issues. The advice did in fact cure the problem and my music is back in full swing.
I do like my Naim equipment but I also really appreciate the level of support I've had over the years when I've experienced difficulty. Thank you Naim.
