Amazing spice blends …

I bought a selection gift bag for my husband who loves to cook for Christmas. All of the spice pots were fantastic. But our absolute favourite was the Vindaloo masala spice pot.
This is such a great all round spice, adding layers of flavour.
Don't be put off thats its labelled Vindaloo, believe me my tongue cant handle a curry that hot, but this is about flavour just as it is about heat. Add a bit more if you want spice and less if you don't.
We add it to soups, mixed with potatoes and onion for bombay potatoes or a marinade on meat.
I'm so glad that larger pouch sized bags are available to buy now, so I don't have to buy a tonne of the 50g smaller pots.
I'm sure I will be tempted to try other spice pots for a change, but this one is a cupboard staple.
