Great shop! Ripped my walking boot on the Saturday- Needle Sports advised on best glue to mend boot and details of how to do it.
I was back walking in the boot on the Sunday doing 4 miles up and over Harrison Stickle and Pavey Ark - no problems with the boots.

I've shopped here for years. The staff are great, knowledgeable and helpful. And if anything goes wrong, they step in and fix it.
This is the best climbing/outdoor shop in the UK.

RIP-off shop! We were looking for a goretex jacket and searched the store for a while- no assistance from the staff- until we found one priced at £270. When we went to the till the assistant rang up £297. We pointed out that the price on the jacket was £270. The assistant, quite unapologetically, simply told us it had been priced wrong and that we would have to pay the full price he was asking. I suppose that attitude is fine if all you want to do is rip off tourists.

I telephoned the store with a specific problem with some equipment I have. They are stockists for spare parts for what, I thought, was the make of my stove. Matt, who I spoke with, was very knowledgeable but didn't know the item I was having issues with. He said he would contact the suppliers and email me. Within 20 minutes he had called me back, we discussed my options thoroughly, I then made my order on-line. He called again because I'd ordered a similar product slightly different from the one we'd discussed and he wanted to make sure I was getting the right one.
Fantastic customer service, I felt considered and reassured. I can't wait for my items to arrive so I can try them out. Thanks Needle Sports and Matt.

Great service and advice, bought climbing equipment online phoned up to verify it was what I needed and if they had other recommendations and if in stock, great advice and in stock, bought other equipment too. Ordered online on the Friday goods arrived on the Monday. Happy days.

A proper climbing shop run by climbers. Fantastic customer service both online and in store every time I've got stuff from them. Jude/Trevor handled a separate warranty return and a return super quickly and were very friendly.

Great overall service. I placed an order late at night only to realize in the morning (as it often happens) that it was a rash decision. When I called they were very kind and helpful and canceled my order without any problems. I then placed a new order after doing a proper research and the order (international shipment) arrived quickly and smoothly.

Great company with a superb customer service ethos - I purchased a Patagonia duffle from them last year and the shoulder straps were separated lost at Zagreb airport last December. I called Needle to see if I could buy some replacements which is not something ever held in stock. They managed to replace them post them down to be via Royal Mail parcel tracked delivery and there was no charge. Superb service & I highly recommend them for any of your Kit needs.

I have always rated and recommended this shop. Always one of our go-to's for advice and to check out. It makes a massive difference when staff have personal knowledge or experience. Staff are great and will actively go out of their way to help you out.

Excellent attitude. I needed a waterproof hiking coat and saw exactly what I needed in the shop window. Labelled at £159.99 I took the coat to the till only to be told that the price on their IT system was £270. With no fuss, they very willingly agreed to honour the labelled price.

Bought some climbing gear a few weeks ago, and asked them for advice about re-threading old hexcentrics. Really quick delivery, good web site and their response to advice enquiries was quick and really helpful. Feels like it's a company that employs people who love outdoor pursuits and know what they're talking about.
