Details missed & awful customer service

I chose New Vision Cleaners to deep clean my 1 bed flat. A job was done overall, however details missed. Some surfaces like my extractor fan and bedroom light and mirror were left covered in smears. Skirting boards under radiators were left unclean - considering the price, this isn't great.

The cleaners were friendly and helpful.
However, Alex on email was god-awful. I received an email after an hour or so of the cleaners being here, being advised there was pet hair so I'd be charged another £45 and telling me how bad I am for not telling them I have a pet. I have never had an animal live here, and haven't had a dog visit for 2.5 years - never with dark hair. I've also had cleaners in the past so there is just no way. These dark, shorter hairs they were showing me - were my boyfriends!

I felt this email highly unprofessional, especially as I'd been advised by one of the team, that the third member was running late. I was then scolded by Alex on email as he advised the Manager always comes later to wash the sofa - to which I clarified it was his own staff who advised me she was late.
I was also told I'm lucky they didn't charge me for the fact they stayed after 3 hours, when I was advised it was up to 3.5 hours anyway - I came into my lounge to see one woman chilling on my desk chair.

They must have seen much worse than mine before but I won't be using them again.

We are genuinely disappointed to read your review, as the team worked extremely hard and completed a significant number of tasks that were not included in the standard deep-cleaning checklist. Our communication with you throughout the service was courteous and clear, and we feel it is important to address a few points for accuracy.

All information about what is included in our service was clearly explained in the initial email you received before the booking. We always ensure full transparency so clients know exactly what to expect.

The flat was extremely dusty and dirty, which naturally increases the time required to carry out a proper deep clean. Even so, although the team stayed well beyond the scheduled 3 hours, we chose not to charge anything extra, including:

- No fee for overtime
- No charge for the second car’s parking
- No fee for the upholstery cleaning
- A 25% discount on your total

The team moved multiple items — including many bottles of alcohol and personal belongings — so they could clean as thoroughly as possible, even though moving items is not included in the service. They went above and beyond to deliver the best possible result.

We also have photos from the visit showing that the areas you mentioned (extractor fan, mirror, skirting boards, bedroom light) were cleaned. If anything required an additional wipe, we would have happily returned free of charge had we been informed before the review.

Regarding the pet hair message, the email you received was based on the initial assessment and photos from the Team Manager. Once you clarified the situation, we accepted your explanation immediately. At no point was the intention to criticise you, only to communicate observations — which is standard procedure.

About the manager’s arrival, the manager was not late. She always arrives later to perform upholstery cleaning, which is the final stage of the service. She also assisted the other cleaners upon arrival after seeing the level of dust throughout the flat.

Regarding the team’s professionalism - Our cleaners are dedicated and hardworking women, some of them older or working despite health conditions. They are doing their best every day instead of relying on benefits. Suggesting that they should not be allowed even a brief moment to rest — especially after working beyond the scheduled time — can easily give the impression of expecting them to work without pause, which borders on exploiting their labour.

The team did not “chill”; they had simply completed one stage and were waiting for the next instruction.

We value feedback, but we also believe in providing a fair and accurate context. Our goal is always to deliver high-quality service, and during your appointment we acted with professionalism, flexibility, and goodwill — including many additional tasks at no extra cost.

We are sorry that you feel disappointed, but we stand firmly by the quality of the work delivered and the integrity of our team.

We don't fly helicopters!!

We booked for a rental exit clean for Sunday 16th Nov
Shortly before 8am we received a call to say the cleaner can't make it because the roads in Fulham are blocked with the 10k. I very politely suggested later that day or Monday morning, they wouldn't move things to accommodate.
An email shortly followed stating we would have £25 deducted from our deposit to cover the time they "wasted"
Having never heard of such a policy or saw it in the contract I asked for an explanation of why we have to pay because your office didn't plan properly for staff to travel "We don't fly helicopters" came the terse reply from customer services. Their theory was that it's our responsibility to check the cleaner had access and that includes the roads. I seriously don't think
New Vision expects a client to check the underground and various travel options are available on the day of your clean, moving is stressful enough. After several emails and phone calls they realised we were not going away and we got our full deposit back but, boy did they put up a fight. What would happen if you had a cleaning complaint as customer service has been questioned on other reviews, tbf for balance the actual cleaning ones are good. Hope this honest and fair review helps all parties.

Thank you for your feedback.
We would like to respectfully clarify that the circumstances which led to the cancellation were entirely beyond our control. Our team attempted to reach your property for over an hour, but major road closures in Fulham made access with our professional equipment impossible. As clearly stated in our Terms & Conditions, which all clients agree to upon booking, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure access to the property is possible on the day of service.
As a Fulham resident, and given the scale of the 10K event, we believe awareness of road closures could have helped avoid this situation.
We also want to note that our team communicated politely and clearly at all times, and no cleaner made it to the property, meaning no service took place at all — positive or negative. Despite this, and although we were within our rights to retain the full deposit (as per our policy), we refunded the amount as a gesture of goodwill.
It is therefore disappointing to receive a negative review in the absence of any actual service delivery, and following a refund that we were not contractually obliged to issue. The suggestion that we put up a “fight” is not only inaccurate but contradicts the documented communication.
We are proud that our services remain fully booked, driven by repeat customers and referrals — a reflection of the satisfaction and trust we consistently earn. We regret that this isolated situation did not result in a successful booking and wish you all the best.

Very satisfied

I recently hired New Vision Cleaners for a deep clean of carpet in my house and I was very impressed with their service. The results were fantastic. The carpets looked almost new and felt much softer underfoot. They managed to remove several old stains that I thought were permanent. The entire house smelled fresh and clean. I am very satisfied with New Vision Cleaners and would highly recommend their services. I will definitely use them again for my next carpet cleaning.

Amazing job

Had New Vision Cleaners around today to have our flat cleaned before putting it on the market. 3 hours later and the flat is immaculate. Couldn’t recommend them more. Amazing job. Would highly recommend.

We have been having our house cleaned…

We have been having our house cleaned by New Vision Cleaners for the past two months and found the cleaning standard to be below average.

We were promised a high standard of cleaning, especially given the higher than average rate. Essential parts of the house such as the bathroom floor were consistently missed, as were smaller jobs such as cleaning of mirrors, light fittings & picture frames.

After deciding to part ways with New Vision cleaners, during their last visit to us a considerable dent was made to our freshly painted wall, not only denting the wall, but chipping off a large area of paint. Having brought this to the attention of the customer service department not only were we not offered any form of good will gesture or apology, but instead it was inferred that my husband and I were lying!

We are in no way unreasonable people & we do understand that accidents happen, however the dishonesty in this situation was very upsetting. To not confess to a mistake & then deny it makes me question the trustworthiness of the staff employed by New Vision Cleaners & certainly the unprofessional manner shown by the ‘customer service’ agent.

I would never use New Vision Cleaners again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.

If you are looking for hard working, trustworthy cleaners that will take care when cleaning your home, look elsewhere.

We are surprised by your negative review as we received an email from your husband that you canceled the service because your circumstances have changed and you do not need any more our service. He also. mentioned that It's nothing to do with the service provided, and our cleaner is super friendly and she's done an excellent job.

Regarding the damage to the wall, we have already responded to you by email.

The team of cleaners has noticed a few tiny scratches (not big chopped area as you decriped ) on the wall while they are cleaning the skirting boards.
According to our T&C, the cleaning of the walls is not part of our service and we doubt that someone has done it.

All of our cleaners are professionals and hardworking and never miss areas like skirting boards, frames, mirrors, etc.

We remain at your disposal in the future in case any other assistance will be needed from our side.

TERRIBLE customer service

We had our home cleaned twice by New Visions Cleaners and can't fault the service they provided; however their customer service is horrible.  When I cancelled the service, they let me know they have a two week notice period per their Terms & Conditions so I would still need to pay for the next two weeks which was totally fine, I understand.  However they still sent a cleaner to my home a few days later and insisted they clean anyway, we eventually got them to leave after calling the office but this was totally unnecessary.   Then three days after sending the final invoice they emailed me threatening legal action if I did not pay; threatening legal action after 3 days is absurd. The aggressively bad customer service far outweighs the good job they did; will never use them again.

According to our T&C, we require 2 weeks written notice and when we sent you an email, you did not respond. That is why we sent a cleaner on the day scheduled for your regular service. You also spoke with one of our managers by phone on the day of your cleaning and she explained to you that you have to cover all costs.

Regarding the payment, all payments are due on the day of the service, if we have an overdue invoice we send reminders.

We remain at your disposal in the future in case any other assistance will be needed from our side.

New Vision cleaners were exceptional

New Vision cleaners were exceptional! We contacted them for our end of lease clean and they did an amazing job. They were very easy to contact, great communication on the day of our move and the team did a fantastic job. A huge thank you to the team, I would highly recommend them!

End of tenancy clean in Surbiton

I used New vision cleaner for an end of tenancy clean last week. They were simply amazing. Cleaned the two bedroom flat plus oven to a very high standard. Alex and her team didn’t cut corners, they were very professional and hard working. Would 100% recommend and will be using them again.

I have high standards - but theirs are higher!

NVC always provide an amazing service, prompt and polite customer service and exceptional cleaning staff.

I wouldn't go anywhere else and never fail to recommend them. In the 15 years of hiring various cleaners for my domestic and commercial properties, the staff I have had from NVC have been by far the best.

Exceptional standards. Highly recommended
