We have been members of the Guild for a number of years and have found the service provided to be exceptional. We are grateful that they have pursued those removal companies that use the branding when they are not members. We genuinely believe that they protect us.

A bunch of liar and thieves

A bunch of liar and thieves, one thing they care about is how to rip the money of you. They do not reach the contract conditions. Their promises are worth nothing. Beware of them, do not sign a contract with them because it is just a pile of problems.

My advice is don't do it or else be Very Very careful when dealing with the National Guild of removers and storers, they operate from a PO box and don't appear to have a physical office, I would ask a solicitor to look at any contracts they request you to sign as they are usually for a minimum of 12 months and have a lot of clauses that a lot of people would consider onerous, if you are unlucky enough to have a dispute with them they appear to have a policy of quickly sending in their solicitors to deal with the alleged problem and have in the past sent out very threatening letters for what others may deem as minor offences, check out NGRS court cases on google or check out Andrew Penmans column in the daily Mirror, this company is private and not run as most trade associations which is by members for members,

A "Best Buy"

A "Best Buy". The Guild is a pleasure to deal with they are helpful, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. We’ve been in membership for 3 years and it has proved to be money very well spent. In fact any quality conscious removal business with an eye on profitability and growth would benefit from joining the "switched on" and progressive Guild. The personalised sales aids they offer members such as the brochure and folder set that comes to life wow potential customers and generate upscale removal business. Not a proper trade association

they have a habit of taking members and ex members alike to court for eye watering sums for what most people would judge as minor disagreements, they are not what anyone would call a trade association although you would have difficulty telling this by looking at their site or listening to their sales talk, this privately owned company is run for profit and in my opinion it would be a mistake for a small removal company to join this organisation without first taking legal advice as you could get locked into contracts which are very difficult and expensive to get out of
