Thieves

Thieves, they demand an inactivity fee for $10 / month, but they are not allowing you to withdraw what I have if they don't exceed a certain amount. Good way to steal peoples money. Avoid

Completed my KYC

Completed my KYC, but it remained pending for a few days. Reached out to support for a status, and they informed me of acceptance and everything works.
Very responsive technical support, greatly appreciated.

If you’re considering using NiceHash DON'T DO IT

If you’re considering using NiceHash, think twice before storing any funds with them. They have started charging fees without prior notice or consent from their users. In my case, they debited $7.45 USD from my account without explaining the reason for the charge. No notification, no agreement to approve—just money gone.

This is a blatant scam tactic, preying on users who trust the platform to hold their funds securely. By doing this, they’re essentially stealing money from accounts with balances. What makes it worse is the complete lack of transparency. They provide no clear explanation or breakdown of the charges, leaving users frustrated and in the dark.

Such practices destroy trust and show a disregard for their user base. If you value your money, avoid storing funds on NiceHash. They are exploiting their position as a platform to siphon funds from unsuspecting users. Be warned!

KYC Cold shoulder, can I get my funds please??

These scam artists are hiding behind a defective (probably intentional) KYC process. I have been jumping through hoops for weeks to try and get KYC done. Their answer to me is to close my account and withdraw my funds. I am under the minimum amount, and although probably worth nothing to many, it's around 30% of my monthly pension. It's an amount I have been mining on for four months now. They have gone dead in answering queries after I said I would report them to the authorities (Ombudsman). Has anybody got details of someone in Switzerland who can investigate these scam artists?

Avoid like the plague

Avoid like the plague! This people are thieves. I had bitcoin stored here for a number of years that I had mined. I received an email saying that they will need to verify my account with KYC - went through the process verified then my account balanced dropped to 0 BTC. Lost all my coins for absolutely no reason. Support can't even answer why that is. unbelievable con artists. Several of my friends who had a total of 4 BTC also lost all their coins and are in the process of taking Nice Hash to court. They should be called Scam Hash.

Basically a scam site

They didn't need any documents or personal info to put money there, but to withdraw you are required to fill all kinds of forms. And they keep stealing insane amount every month until you somehow manage to withdraw or account is empty

Quite literally NiceHash is now a scam. Do not open an account with them.

Quite literally NiceHash is now a scam. Do not use this site. They have unilaterally changed from a free platform to charging monthly fees for inactive accounts, and also compelling users to identify themselves before withdrawing or being able to mine again. Those verifications are not easily done, and if they fail they lock the account, then the fees chew through the account. There are minimum withdrawal amounts set now too, (80euros I think) so verified users under that mark cannot withdraw so eventually their balances will be effectively stolen by NiceHash.

My Disappointing Experience with NiceHash

I am extremely dissatisfied with NiceHash's policy of charging a monthly fee for inactive accounts. Despite being unaware of this fee, I discovered that they deduct $9 per month from inactive accounts without proper notification. This feels like a blatant scam and a money-grabbing tactic that lacks transparency and consideration for their users.

As someone who trusted NiceHash, this hidden fee has left me feeling cheated and disappointed. I strongly advise others to be cautious and thoroughly review NiceHash's policies to avoid unexpected charges.

The "inactive account" fee is tantamount to scamming.

This "inactive account" fee that they charge is one of the most blatant money grabs I've seen. It makes no sense and, of course, they make it so that very specific actions need to be taken in order to re-activate your account.

This terrible company needs to have its reputation thrown in the gutter if we don't want such an absurd anti-consumer practice to start to proliferate.

Disappointing Experience with NiceHash – Locked Account and Inaccessible Funds After KYC Changes

I have been a long-term user of NiceHash for several years, and my experience was positive until recently. I had successfully completed the Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process in the past and was using the platform without any issues. However, things changed when NiceHash updated their system and required users to re-do the KYC verification fully.

KYC Verification Challenges After System Update

Following their request, I promptly submitted my Spanish Permanent Residence Permit for the new KYC process. Despite complying with all the guidelines and being ready to provide any additional documentation, my verification was repeatedly declined without a clear explanation. The responses I received were generic, copy-paste messages that did not specify what was incorrect or missing in my submissions.

Inaccessible Funds

As a result of the failed re-verification, my account was permanently locked, and I lost access to my funds totaling approximately 800 EUR (0.00977240 BTC). I made multiple requests to withdraw my funds to my personal Bitcoin wallet, but these were met with the same standard replies, and no action was taken to return my money.

Lack of Clear Communication

Throughout this ordeal, the customer support and compliance teams at NiceHash did not address my specific concerns or offer any solutions. My requests for a detailed explanation or guidance on how to resolve the issues were ignored, leaving me frustrated and without access to my funds.

Conclusion

This experience has been extremely disappointing, especially considering my long-term relationship with NiceHash and prior successful KYC verification. The lack of transparency and unwillingness to assist a loyal user raises serious concerns about their customer service practices. I hope that by sharing my story, others will be aware of these potential issues when dealing with NiceHash.

Recommendation

If you are considering using NiceHash, I strongly recommend exercising caution. Ensure you understand their policies thoroughly and be prepared for potential challenges with account verification and fund withdrawals, especially if they implement changes to their KYC requirements.
