After the so call work was done. We paid the quoted amount in full and on time. Then a week later, we received another bill for the VAT ??? When we question the 2ND invoice, we were told they don’t add Vat to their quotes.
Which after getting legal advice. Quoting without VAT is legal, but not good practice. After paying over £500 to find additional funds was heart breaking.
After passing on our feeling of shock and disappointment. They wrote a letter, stating if we didn’t pay the 2nd bill in the next 7 days. They would come to our home and remove/reverse the work done.
We paid the invoice in full. For peace of mind and the fact, my mother was very sick at the time, which they knew.
SO PLEASE DON’T USE and the roof still leaks !!!!
