Iphones have gone down hill.
Iphone purchased, tried to return soon after purchasing as i was not happy with it. This is after i have being a long time iphone user of 20 years since iphone 3. That says alot. Noel leeming refused to return it within 14 days. Not good enough so i have sold it and will not use an iphone ever again. Nokia now
Have it all
This is the place to shop for electronics and home appliances
Tech Support? Not even.
I was with the tech support at the St Lukes Noel Leeming store on Wagener Ave. Another staff member came from behind with a customer, ignoring the fact he was already dealing with me, to have him solve a problem for her customer. She didn't apologise for interrupting and he didn't apologise for leaving me sitting there for 10mins, while he dealt with her customer. Worse service ever. When he did finally come back to me, he again left me to deal with the next lady in line, no apologies or anything. And to top it off, my issue was never resolved.
Exercising CGA rights is a headache
Trying to exercise my rights under the CGA has been like pulling teeth with Noel Leeming. My 1.5-year-old PS5 suddenly stopped turning on, and despite the CGA, I had to push back several times after being told it was "no longer under warranty".
The process has dragged on for months, partly because they advised repairs under the CGA take longer than paid or warranty repairs. I’m still waiting for my console back (along with a CD and game case I gave along with it that they're now trying to track down), and I really hope nothing else goes wrong - I’d hate to go through this again.
Only reason this rating isn't lower is because they did accept the repair under CGA without me taking them to the disputes tribunal, and because the majority of the staff I've spoken to have been good, even if the processes they're needing to follow are a pain for the consumer.
Worst customer service
Worst coustmer service ever experienced,Rude manger ,I suggest never go to noel leeming
Brilliant service.
I bought AIO computer and had huge buyers remorse before it arrived at our local store in Rangiora. I tried for 2 days to ring to arrange to collect it but no one would pick up the phone. The staff had indicated that I would not receive any help to set it up unless I paid over $100 for help. When I went into the store I was feeling stressed and ready to cancel the order. Scott came to help me and this man gave me wonderful service
and talked me through to process. I left very happy with my new computer.
Beanta De Silva was excellent!

Noel Leemings manukau, sales guys who spend too much time on their hair…not enough on product info.
Noel Leemings in manukau showed me that they are sales ppl with very poor knowledge of the actual products they are selling, selling air purifiers but unaware or indeed clueless about CADR , they know the acronym but not what it stands for. Telling me that customers are silly to do their research on the internet ,that they should talk to them because they are the experts …yeah after I picked my jaw off the floor I decided guys who spend way too much time on their hair and not enough time learning about the products they sell don’t deserve my time to explain how stupid that thought is…I mean we all research our products online ,for info and comparison ….sheesh…indeed I knew what I wanted because I researched. The arrogance and audacity didn’t correspond with the absolute lack of knowledge..
Shout out to MASON in Matamata
Shout out to MASON in Matamata. I purchased a printer today and I was lucky enough to have Mason approach me. Usually in Noel Leeming stores the staff don't seem to care or show any interest. Mason answered every question in plain English, and even repeated himself as I don't hear very well. Excellent customer service. Noel Leeming need you and more like you Mason. Thank you for your help today.
Delivery fiasco
At no time during the pre delivery check was it said that the two delivery men were not allowed to lift anything. The fridge was delivered, approximately 10 steps up there was a bend where it would lid be needed to be lifted about 18 inches. Of course there are now laws in place against that and we were told they were leaving as they could do no more. We are. Not young or in good health ,we couldn’t do it. We had to send out an SOS to get help with getting it up in the house. It cost us another $100 on top of the $160 we paid Noel Leemings so I do feel Noel Leemings should refund some of the delivery costs for an unfinished job. We have bought many items from them but will not be in future if this is the service we get.
I went to Loel leeming ormiston today…
I went to Loel leeming ormiston today 11/7 looking for a desktop to replace my current computer which is not compatible to window 11. There were many staff around but no one bothered to serve. I went to one available staff and he pointed to area and said go look yourself as he was talking to someone in his language andI could understand him . I had to leave and I will never go lol leeming store again.
I had a gift voucher that could not be…
I had a gift voucher that could not be used due to expiry. The voucher had no expiry date written anywhere so I was not aware of the short expiry date. Looking through other reviews on this and other forums, this is not an uncommon complaint. When I called the store, they said that the shop assistant must have been busy and forgot to write the expiry date on the card! Beware of Noel Leeming Gift Vouchers!!
Great service
Thank you to staff ar Napier, especially Rona. Faulty fridge but they were very pleasant and helpful and organised a replacement as quickly as possible. I will definitely shop again as the service was excellent from buying to delivery.
Bonus credit is a total scam
Please be aware the bonus credit through moorup is a total scam.
I purchased a phone under the promotion of 'trade your old phone in and receive a bonus $300 gift card'. The Staff member who did the sale was great and said I just needed to complete the form online and send the phone back within a few days. I had done all of that, the trade was approved and I received a voucher for the trade value, however, no bonus credit. I emailed moorup to which the response stated "your bonus credit will be paid between 20th April 2025 and 24th April 2025" - confirming they had received everything from me.
When 24th came around, still no bonus credit, I emailed them back and they said I needed a claim form, noone had ever mentioned this, even moorup wouldn't provide it. After a bit of back and forth with moorup and getting nowhere, I went into store the following weekend. The salesman confirmed that there isn't a claim form and directed me to call the Customer Care line. I went home and called and they said they needed to go back to the store.. so I went back, they said customer care line wouldn't know so I'm not sure why they sent me there?
I spoke to (I assume) the Manager who was great! And understanding and helpful, he took my details and said he'd follow up. 2 weeks later I hadn't heard anything so emailed again, they replied with an email saying they couldn't issue the credit because they didn't receive an additional claim form and the time has now past!!! They hadn't even looked into it. I replied with the screenshot of the trade approval and email from moorup confirming credit would be paid, to which again, no reply.
I emailed to put in a complaint and was told they need to hear from moorup, another 2 weeks- nothing so I emailed again, same response.
I then receive an email from moorup thanking me for my additional claim and that the saying phone needs to be received within dates prior (which it was) and credit would be paid 30th May 2025.
30th May comes around, still no credit.
This has been a total nightmare. This bonus credit offer is a total scam, I'd hate for anyone else to fall into this trap!
NOEL leemings mount Maunganui
NOEL leemings mount Maunganui - Had an unfortunate experience with the Store manager yet again. I was expecting a simple and efficient solution regarding an issue with my product, but instead of being helpful, the manager was unnecessarily rude and dismissive.
Rather than offering a quick and fair replacement for a faulty product, she pushed a refurbishment option that was clearly inconvenient and unnecessary. When I expressed frustration, she sarcastically told me to “just throw it in the rubbish bin” if I didn’t like it. That level of disrespect is completely unacceptable from anyone—let alone a manager.
This wasn’t just bad service—it was a complete lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic decency. If this is how the store empowers its staff to treat customers, I’d seriously think twice before shopping here again. Totally unacceptable
To make things worse, I called another branch of the same store afterward, and they immediately confirmed they would have replaced the product on the spot. So not only was I treated disrespectfully, but I was also misled and denied proper service by someone who clearly either didn’t care or didn’t know how to do her job.
Dear Support Team,
Dear Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
I recently purchased a Snapdragon HP laptop based on your team’s recommendation for my graphic design studies. At the time of purchase, I clearly mentioned that I needed a laptop capable of running graphic design software and gaming applications. I was assured it would meet my needs, but unfortunately, it does not.
Since using the laptop, I have found that the essential graphic design software I need for my study does not run properly on this device. The laptop also cannot support the games I need to complete on it.I have visited your store multiple times to explain the issue and request an exchange or refund, but I was denied each time. I want to make it clear that I made my needs known at the time of purchase and trusted the advice given to me. The fact that the laptop cannot perform as required is not my fault.
Himmat Singh, 022114769, 0221225732 kindly refund my amount I bought this laptop neol leeming botany town newzealand
Disappointed with Noel Leeming’s Price…
Disappointed with Noel Leeming’s Price Match Policy and Service
I’m a loyal customer of Noel Leeming and recently bought a FoodSaver machine for $489.99 at the Ormiston branch, without the additional 1-year warranty. Two days later, I found the same product at Farmers for only $299.99.
Trusting your price match policy, I returned to the store requesting a refund of the price difference. Shockingly, I was told that I’m not eligible for a refund unless I had purchased the extra warranty. When I asked to return the product instead, I was told it couldn’t be returned if opened—even though it had only been two days.
Thankfully, the item was still sealed, so I got a full refund. But instead of refunding just the $190 difference and keeping a loyal customer, you refunded the full $489.99 and lost my trust completely.
This experience was extremely disappointing, and I will not be returning to Noel Leeming again.
Absolutely poor service from The…
Absolutely poor service from The Crossings noel leemings told they couldnt price match but I drove into town to Tauranga and the lady was happy to price match. Not a great experience from The Crossing Noel Leemings the only reason I wanted to shop their was because I had a voucher that was about to expire. I wont be shopping here again.
St Luke’s Mega - incredible after sales service
Incredible after sales service from Fliss at the St Luke’s Mega Centre.
This is my ‘go to store’ for appliances. They do the right thing by their customers if there are genuine issues with a product.
Starlink installation
My father paid $700 for Starlink and an installation. They came and screwed it to our damn picnic table with the cable running out the window. What an absolute joke. It's a disgrace. Makes me think he was taken advantage of. Especially when Starlink has a $449 deal. Will never deal with Noel Leeming Whakatane again.
