Keeps me in contact with my mother in a care home. The family can post photos and call her. She can see and hear us and hold a conversation.
She does nothing to the video screen. There is nothing to press. No buttons. No touching the screen. No password or numbers to remember. You decide when it switches off and on.
Would be nice for a button/alert requesting a call from me. Sometimes she wants to ring me but can't. An alert button would notify me to ring her. The system does not allow for video footage, only still photos.
Definitely recommend for elderly who are unable to use IT equipment or phones.

I can’t fault this device, perfect and mobile!
I can’t fault this device, both my parents struggle with their cognitive thinking and couldn’t change channels on a normal TV, My mother is in a care home 15 miles away and it’s not easy to get in there. This device solves all the issues and more, the device answers itself, we can send pictures to keep her familiar with what’s going on. Brilliant five stars for me
If they asked what could we do to improve.. maybe send video messages, but these would then be on repeat if you didn’t set it to disappear and could drive them bonkers!

Komp is an amazing device
Komp is an amazing device. Being able to send messages and photos, and speak to her daily, has helped us keep mum in the loop. Even family members abroad are able to keep in touch! I have already recommended Komp to family, friends, and the professionals supporting mum with her Dementia. I’d give Komp 100/100 if this were the rating. Thank you all at Komp.

A unique opportunity to share your moments
This is a unique opportunity to share your moments with elder people, like parents or grand parents and let them take part in your lives. One big screen, one knob, anyone can make it work. Can also be used for video chats.
Not giving 5 stars due to poor interface on the upload side and no video. Young people with smart phones should be able to share pictures just as easy as on Snap and Insta

No Isolation is just what it promises!
This product is just what our family needed. Now our elderly Mom is much less isolated and seems to have more vitality. It’s great that the device is so low maintenance! We had this shipped to Canada and the customer service has been top notch. Highly recommended.

This Komp is amazing
This Komp is amazing. My Grandma is able to receive pictures and messages from us into her living room without her needing to use tech. We set it up for her (very easy) and it turns itself on and off (we can change times). I send pics everyday and they play across the screen. We control everything so she doesn’t have to worry. I cannot recommend enough. It has made her feel connected with us all without the pressure of trying to work her mobile phone or try and reply. It isn’t super cheap but it is worth every penny, especially if you think of it like a mobile phone contract price. You rent the machine so if you don’t want it anymore you can return it. Not that you will want to! Perfect for people who can’t use WhatsApp or similar. Or those who just want to feel connected with their family or friends. Very ‘tech phobic grandma’ friendly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
