From start to finish Nords provided a professional service that was second to none. My initial enquiries were dealt with quickly and efficiently by Julija, who responded promptly, and did all she could to provide a smooth service, pre-op.

My flights were easy to book and Julija, helped me secure my accommodation. Once I landed I received WhatsApp messages for my pick up, and the logistics driver was waiting for me, just outside arrivals.

They drive you to your chosen accommodation, and pick you up from there for your pre-op tests and on the day of your op.

The clinic was spotlessly clean, and the staff from nurses, admin and of course the Professor, were all professional and caring. I felt well looked after. Post op they check on you, even the Professor checked on me the next day, just make sure I was happy. All staff speak perfect English, as well as other languages, such a smooth, seamless experience.

My experience was fantastic, no long waiting times, no cancelled arrangements, and no extortionately high fees.

I am now 6 weeks out and feel amazing, I am so grateful to have had this opportunity, thank you to the whole team for giving me my life back. Highly recommended.

I went for gallbladder removal at nord and I can honestly say the care and service I received was outstanding!! After a long time of not getting anywhere with the NHS I decided to pay for treatment as I was in an immense amount of pain daily.... Best decision I ever made!!

In terms of Nords the clinic, they were so supportive, very professional and friendly staff from my emails before I flew out to the pre op care and the post op care. I was experiencing some pain when I got back to the UK and was able to text the surgeon directly and get answers for what he recommends I get from my gp and it was so helpful knowing that I have that contact. We also have the dietician for the next 5 years! The surgeon is very experienced in this field, there wasn’t an answer I threw at him that he didn’t have an answer for and it’s always backed up by a real study or science. Overall top class service and as a woman of colour there’s not a lot of representation for us on the website and I know that can be a scary thing but rest assured you’re in safe hands!

I just had a gastric bypass at Nordclinic a couple of weeks ago and would highly recommend this clinic.

I was especially pleased with all the staff at the clinic, they are very caring and look after you well. Also, they have cars pick you up and take you back to the airport, and back and forth to the clinic for all appointments.

If I ever have surgery in the future, I would definitely go back to Nordclinic. A very professional service.

Could not be happier with the service and care received from Nords. I flew on my own from the UK so was obviously apprehensive, but the doctors, nurses, even the logistics people, all really lovey and friendly. Also the Nords apartments are so modern, clean and huge! Could not sing their praises enough.

From the very first email my interaction with Nords was very positive. My customer service rep answered every question promptly and efficiently. And there were very many questions. Having filled out the medical questionnaire and forwarded my blood results, I was preliminarily approved for surgery. Booking and paying the deposit was very easy. I decided to wait until January but there were dates available as soon as 4 to 6 weeks ahead. I was given a weight loss target for the Liver Reduction Diet which must be carried out for 2 to 3 weeks (weight dependent) before surgery. I was also provided with helpful information that allowed me to achieve this weight loss.

So having lost 7kg on the Liver Reduction Diet in just 16 days, it was time to travel to Lithuania. While sitting in the airport, outbound I received a text giving me details of my collection time for tests the following morning. On arriving at Kaunas airport I was met by Nords logistics who transported me to my hotel.

The next morning I was taken to the clinic for tests including bloods and ecg. I was very impressed with both the reception and nursing staff who all spoke English. The clinic itself was spotlessly clean. I also got to meet Prof. Maleckas. He was wonderful. He answered all my questions and indeed answered many questions I never thought to ask. By the end of the consultation I had 100% confidence in him and was so excited to have this opportunity.

The following day I was collected by the logistics team and taken to the clinic for surgery. Everything I needed was provided, including gown, slippers, robe, towels and face cloth, soap and toothbrush and paste. I also had my own TV with Netflix. I met the anesthesiologist and was given a pre op injection and soon afterwards was taken down to surgery. The team in the theatre were wonderful and before I knew it I was back in my room.

On waking up, as is expected after surgery, I felt uncomfortable but my lovely nurse was always on hand, giving me sips of water, pain meds and getting me up and walking. The care I received was second to none. I also saw Prof Maleckas that evening who reassured me that all went well. My progress was so rapid that I spent just one night in the clinic. Again I saw Prof. Maleckas before my discharge. I also saw the dietican and physiotherapist before discharge. I was delighted to spend the second night in a comfy double bed but I was taken back to the clinic the following day for bloods and follow up. I was giving paracetamol for pain and Omeprazole for my stomach. I also was given a regime of blood thinner injections. I had to inject myself each day up to a few hours before my flight home. This was completely painless and very simple to do by following the nurses instruction. I took paracetamol for about six days after the surgery.

In total I was in Lithuania for one week. It is advised that you arrive 2 days before your scheduled surgery date and remain in Lithuania for 5 nights post surgery. Nordbariatric have apartments that I believe are wonderful but I chose to stay in a hotel in the town centre.

So far my recovery has been excellent and I have lost over 2 stone on about 4 1/2 weeks. I am very much looking forward to the future with my new weightloss tool. It is also worth mentioning the Cross Border Directive. If it is your intention to claim CBD, Nords are very familiar with this and will ensure you have a face to face consultation with Surgeon and have all the relevant paper work completed for you to take home.

Everything about the clinic was amazing, the level of care is something I just wouldn't have received at home. When I was uncomfortable they drove some stronger painkillers to the hotel so I didn't even have to leave. I would highly HIGHLY recommend this clinic. The nurses were amazing and and so attentive and friendly. The surgeon was knowledgeable and answered all my questions with ease. They all spoke perfect English which was great for me. The room was so comfortable with a tv and netflix. They provided me with everything i needed like dressing gown, slippers, even toothbrush and paste was waiting for me. The experience was world class and I knew I was in safe hands. Don't regret a thing. If I get skin surgery I will be going back to nord

I had been waiting such a long time to have this procedure done in my own country that I decided to just go ahead and start researching other clinics abroad.

Nord Bariatric was the name that kept coming up as extremely professional, with the highest standard of care, and I totally agree. The admin staff were really helpful and thoroughly explained each step of the process, and the clinic itself is spotless.

I was well looked after, the nurses in the clinic are amazing, checking blood pressure regularly, ensuring your bloods are ok, and ensuring you have enough pain relief.

I was given an emergency number to call if I had any issues once I got back to my hotel, and my surgeon also provided his personal number for emergencies.

I would highly recommend Nord Bariatric to anyone seeking weight loss surgery. They really are a cut above the rest and I'm so thankful to them for giving me my life back.

I had a gastric bypass in July 2022 and I can honestly say Nord is the best clinic/hospital I have ever been to. The standard of care and the cleanliness of Nords is second to none. Nothing is to much trouble and the aftercare is fantastic too.

Fantastic experience. Nords took care of me perfectly. I’m 2 months after sleeve, no issues. Everything went absolutely fine. Thank you for taking care of me. The clinic is spotless and very comfortable. The staff is also great. I highly recommend to anyone.

I was strugaling with my weight most of my life, and every year it was geting worse and worse… I was thinking about weight loss surgery for a very long time, but all the time was very afraid, thinking: - i cant aford it, - its not for me, - was afraid of peaple saying she chose the ‘easy way’… but then some girls i know done it and was incoriging me, and pushed me to make that desision… If i only known, i would have done it long time ago. If u think about it, just Do it!
I just emailed them filed medical questionere and everything was organized. When i went there it was so clean, everyone was so nice, they realy took care of me i felt safe. And now i am so graitfull to all team specialy to surgeon Almantas Maleckas. I know its only been 4 weeks today but i already feeling so good. My weight started go down, my joint, and back pain is geting better every day. I feel all this imflamation in my body is going away and i am much more active. I can do things now! And its only the bigining . Thank you all❤️🌸

Fantastic experience from start to finish.

Staff are so so lovely and speak really good English.

Clinic is absolutely spotless.

Everything is explained before ur surgery.

Only thing I would say is, it would be nice to actually sit and speak to the professor face to face before the surgery rather than WhatsApp phone call.

And also after surgery visiting hours should be longer than 15mins.

But apart from that everything else was perfect.

Well organised great communication regular messages about where to be.
Picked up from airports and taken to accommodation. Transfers provided to and from clinic throughout stay.
The clinic is immaculate and all the staff are so friendly and supportive.

Following the operation you are in obvious discomfort (it’s surgery) but pain relief was given promptly and everything was done to make you as comfortable as possible. I stayed in the clinic for 2 nights.
I work in the NHS in a busy acute trust and can honestly say the care was outstanding at Nords.
I left my medications behind at the clinic when discharged and the logistics team picked them up and brought them to my apartment within 2 hours. Fantastic service.
Prior to flying home you revisit the clinic to ensure bloods are back to normal post surgery.

I had an excellent experience with Nordbariatric. Everything was handled so professionally from beginning to end. The nurses are so supportive and caring. The front desk staff very efficient and friendly. The drivers from the logistics team also very punctual and professional. The surgery went smoothly and the surgeon was personable and reassuring. I am absolutely delighted I chose this clinic for my gastric bypass.

I underwent a nonroutine bypass revision of a previous gastric sleeve following an accident/injury. This involved treatment of a painful, symptomatic hernia. Both the surgeon and anesthesiologist were extremely attentive and detail-oriented, and my case was carefully reviewed and planned. Facilities and staff were excellent. I feel lucky to have been competently treated for a nonroutine issue that had been causing me significant daily pain. Overall, I very highly recommend this clinic.
