I wont recommend norhjem

I wont recommend norhjem. They will make you pay with alots of bills. Be thanked if you dont have to pay after your deposits are cut

We understand your frustration regarding the costs associated with the renovation of the apartment. However, the expenses reflect the condition in which the apartment was left upon your move-out.

Please note that we have not been involved in the move-out inspection or the initial condition report. Likewise, the renovation work has been handled independently, and we are therefore not responsible for those processes. Our role is solely to prepare the final move-out statement based on the information provided.

Lived at Sømoseparken 78B

Lived at Sømoseparken 78B fro good 3+ years, absolutely no complains. Good quality housing, close to the nature and away from the noisy road. Norhjem takes care of any complains or queries proactively with a short turn around time.
Plenty of parking space and a well kept property where Norhjem takes care of cleaning and maintenance regularly.
Associates at Norhjem are very professional be it Simone or Christian, that was nice, be it during move in, in-between the stay or during moveout. Regular communication of any updates and changes which reflects on their professionalism. Not to forget, Martin who was really nice and friendly during the moveout inspection and off course nice to talk with. Deductions from the deposit were also fair and legitimate unlike the others in the property market except for the cleaning hours spent which I would blame the cleaning company and not Nordhjem since I was invoiced 5 hrs for a moderately cleaned and small apartement.
Thanks Norhjem for providing me with a comfortable accommodation at Ballerup - a challenge to find when you are in Copenhagen. Now that I have moved out of Kph and if I return back I will definitely reach out to you guys again.
Big kudos to the folks at Norhjem who I interacted with.

Unpleasant administration

Very unpleasant administration that makes it a bad experience to live in any of their properties. They keep sending me bills even more than a year after moving out.

Hi Inta

We understand that it can be frustrating to receive bills from us after you have moved out. However, what you have received is not a new bill, but a consumption statement for the period during which you were still living at the address.

The statement has been sent now because we have only recently been able to finalize the accounts for the relevant consumption period. This is standard procedure, and we are obligated to send the final settlement to everyone who have had consumption during 2024– even if they have moved out in 2024.

Do not rent here!

Here's why:

1. I agree to the filthy hallways and disgusting common areas not being cleaned properly. My door mat outside my door has never been lifted up many times by the cleaner so you can obviously see the cleaner always avoid doing this. The same for the laundry area too. Same 123 monkey work.

2. I have rented an apartment for many years but I have this neighbour who moved in years before me ( I guess) it means he lives there and he is not actually a student. I called, write and complained about this person to the landlord countless times but no proper action was taken. This guy was making noise and playing very loud music whenever it suits him, shouts and screams when he is drunk and he doesn't care. I confronted him once and for all and that's the only time he stopped. After some weeks, he just did as what he pleases. I gave up on the situation and tried to bear it as long as I can. The administration is very incompetent about the situation because they don't want to kick this person out and so concern that they will lose a renter. I even don't know why and what's with all the BS rules they put on the contract if the renter could not simply follow it. They can't solve the problem so they told me to just call the police. great!

3. Janitor/maintenance personnel stealing! August of 2023 (I moved in 2018) I got stuff stolen from my cage space in the basement. I was 100% it was the janitor who did it because he is the only one who has an access to our storage and apartment. But again, after reporting it to the administration, they just told me to contact my insurance. After talking to some of my neighbours, it came to my knowledge that it was the first time it happened and an e-mail was sent to all tenants about it but I did not got any email. If I did, at least I should have done extra precautions.

4. The contract says that I have 3 months binding period after the termination of renting. I did terminate my renting for only 2 mos. I did have some problem with my new landlord that I cannot moved in yet since the apartment will be not be finished by April which is my moving in date. After a week of sending my termination, I did informed the admin to extend it which means that I will be staying anyway and will fully use the 3 mos. binding period. A week after, they told me a new tenant was found which also means that no action was taken about my request to change the termination I did because I did not heard anything from them which I assumed that they did considered my request because I did informed them early. I was put into difficult and stressful situation that I only have a week to find a temporary place to live since my new place is not liveable yet.

If you don't want the headache both with the neighbour and admin, find something else. It's not worth it to rent at Holmbladsgade.

DON'T RENT THERE

DON'T RENT THERE. Lived in Silo 1, Roskilde. Dirty hallways and place not well kept up. When moving out they charged us for ridiculous things that made no sense as we had only lived there for two months. Charged 2000dkk for cleaning despite us having cleaned, painted two walls that did not need painting and on and on. We got less than half of our deposit back. Looking at other reviews under their old name Ungbodanmark you can see they do that often! STAY AWAY.

I forhold til de beskidte gange tager vi selvfølgelig dette til eftertanke. Lejerne i vores ejendommen har naturligvis et medansvar til at holde fællesarealerne rene på ejendommen. Når det så er sagt, har vi en vicevært, som er ude på ejendommen hver dag, og han gør rent jævnligt ude på ejendommen, da vi altid prioritere rengøring og pæne fællesarealer. I forhold til dit fraflytningssyn er det selvfølgelig beklageligt, hvis din opkrævning ikke stemmer overens med din forventninger. En fraflytningssag er individuel for hver enkelt lejer. Vi kan af gode grunde ikke komme ind på din konkrete sag her, men du er selvfølgelig altid velkommen til at kontakte os, så vi kan få afklaret, hvorfor har betalt det beløb, som du har betalt ved fraflytning.

In relation to the dirty hallways, we are of course taking this to consideration. The tenants in our properties is of course also having a responsibility to help keep the common areas on the property clean. When that being said, we have a janitor who is out on the property every day and he cleans regularly out on the property as we always prioritize clean common areas. In relation to your paying for moving out, it is of course regrettable if your paying does not match your expectation. An case is always individual for each tenant, and as we cannot respond specifically to your case. Please notice that you always are welcome to contact us if you have questions.

Vi skiftede navn fra Ungbo Danmark til norhjem administration a/s, da vi ikke kun administrerer ungdomsboliger længere. Vi er efterhånden blevet så stor en virksomhed, at vi har lige så mange ungdomsboliger, som vi har erhvervslejemål og almindelige lejeboliger. Vi skiftede derfor navn, da det skabte forvirring for vores kunder.

We changed our name from Ungbo Danmark to norhjem administration a/s because we administrate more than apartments with study requirements. Our company is getting bigger and therefore we now administrate commercial leases and normal rentable apartments without any requirements as well. The name Ungbo Danmark was confusing for our customers so we decided to change our name.
