Great value and great gear
Good range, great prices. I bought an Epiphone Thunderbird bass from Steven James online, arrived 2 days later, an absolutely gorgeous instrument which plays and sounds incredible. Best price I could find from any UK store. And they’re based in Saltburn rather than the Home Counties or midlands. What’s not to like?

I wanted a Guild M-75 Aristocrat
I wanted a Guild M-75 Aristocrat and they had one in stock. The techie was most helpful and I received delivery via DHS very quickly. The guitar was in excellent condition and I'm very satisfied. From my experience I would certainly recommend Steven James/North East Guitar.

Really good service. All instruments come fully and professionally set up. Delivery is always on time and usually next day if they have what you want in stock.
I always try to support local businesses rather than the nationals and Steve James Guitars is my one stop shop in the North East.
