From pixillated to perfect - the bigger picture

Storm Fred left my old aerial hanging by a thread. It took a while for the penny (and the aerial) to drop - I pressed reset, unplugged the telly and Freeview recorder, checked connections, plugged it back in, checked Winter Hill transmissions and more. Until I finally admitted defeat, looked up at the roof and saw pigeons playing hopscotch on the fallen TV aerial. Ah! The picture in the living room below was pixellated but there was still a connection. I'd heard nothing but good things about North West Aerials and rightly so because engineer Darryl turned up the very next day - legged it up the ladder, on a windy day too, and had the new aerial installed in well under an hour. And then checked it all out. Genuinely lovely helpful guy - the woman handling bookings was excellent too - so my go-to company when I finally upgrade. More than reasonable price - but the really good news was that I missed out on all the No, Prime Minister nonsense on the telly... for a few hours. I might have to have a word with the pigeons...

Good efficient service

The engineer turned up unexpectedly but it wasn't a problem I'd already spoken to him the day before. The work was carried out professionally with no fuss leaving me & my elderly mother satisfied with the service carried out.

I was having problems with my…

I was having problems with my connection to my Sky q box which last around 2 weeks, and another engineer had attended and was unable to resolve.
Pete attended my property and he managed to dig really deep to resolve the issue which was not an easy task, he was very friendly and experienced in his field and was extremely satisfied with his work and could not recommend him enough.
Thank You again Pete.

What a first class service Ian…

What a first class service Ian delivered. He phoned to say he was on his way, he told me the price upfront to make sure I was ok with it. He then got on with the job and finished it to a standard I was pleased and impressed with. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to friends and family

If I could give zero stars I would…..

Do NOT use this company. I am moving house next week and booked for a sky dish to be installed the day after I move in.

All confirmed with Hannah on the 19/7.

I just rang to confirm and a man said ‘we won’t be coming’ and I said ‘so if I didn’t ring to confirm you just wouldn’t have turned up?’ And he said ‘YES!’….wow!!!! I had no words.

Like moving house isn’t stressful enough! You have idiot companies like these that just don’t care. They shouldn’t be trading.

DISGUSTING…….

Appalling customer service

A warning to others. Don't expect this company to honour the warranty on installation or equipment. They won't even communicate. I phoned with initial problem, told an engineer would visit, no one turned up. Phoned again, told that they would call me back, that's now over four weeks ago. They even went as far as removing a comment I left on their Facebook page (requesting contact) and subsequently blocked me viewing their page. Their site claims strong family values, perhaps a dysfunctional one. They have no complaints procedure on their site. They claim to have offices other than their Blackpool address, advertising one in Southport, but there is no evidence of it.

Absolutely brilliant service

Absolutely brilliant service, so friendly, professional and totally went above and beyond even helping out my elderly neighbours while he was here, supplying my caravan with a whole new satalite dish,,, I will definitely be recommending Tom to all 👍🙂

Booked them to do an installation, never turned up

We booked them on Saturday to do a TV installation the following Monday. They confirmed that they could do the installation first thing Monday morning between 0900 & 1200.

Come Monday morning and no sign of them. My wife called the office to be told “oh we’d double booked and he’s on a different bigger job he’ll get there soon”.

Multiple calls later all promising he’ll be there by 1530 …. Now it’s 1630 and still no sign of them. No curtesy calls to let us know what is going on, no one answering the phone, completely left in the dark.

If you don’t want a run around or wasted day I strongly suggest you avoid this company.

No More Interference 😁

Found this company through a general online search. I checked them out on Trustpilot, all good so I called the Blackpool number yesterday (Thursday) and they booked an Engineer for PM today (Friday). Engineer called and asked if he could come early and he arrived when he said he would. I quickly ran through the interference/loss of the HD channels we’d started to experience and after some testing in the loft space he, Jacob, identified the old amplifier as the probable issue. He subsequently replaced the amplifier and after a quick retune of the TVs everything is as it should be; I now have more channels than I’ve ever had! Thanks to Jacob and NWA for prompt & great service.
