I absolutely love this magazine! ❤️

One of my favourite things about it is reading the stories and experiences of other childminders. It’s so lovely to see how other people do things, pick up new ideas and inspiration, and, perhaps most importantly, realise that I’m not the only one who faces the challenges that come with childminding. There’s something really comforting about knowing other childminders have those same experiences too.

I’ve also been incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to contribute to the magazine and share our own story. Being given that platform and recognition for the work we do has meant so much to me. So much of what childminders do happens behind the scenes and can feel unseen, so having the opportunity to share what we do and have it valued feels amazing.

Claire is so encouraging and genuinely welcoming of childminders who want to contribute. She makes you feel that your experiences and ideas are worth sharing, which is such a lovely thing.

Even Ofsted commented on how impressed they were with my contribution to the magazine, which made me even prouder to be involved.

I’d wholeheartedly recommend this magazine to any childminder. It’s informative, inspiring, reassuring and, most importantly, feels like a real community of people who understand what we do. ❤️

Having been a subscriber of the magazine, which in itself is a true voice championing the largest sector of childcare, the planner I purchased is immensely invaluable. Each section has been considered and nothing compromised. It's a meaty planner but then this is a BIG vocation. Can't recommend Not Just a Childminder enough

Absolutely brilliant magazine for childminders!

There simply isn’t enough out there that truly celebrates childminders and the incredibly important role they play, which is why Not Just a Childminder magazine feels so special. It’s lovely to have something created specifically for our profession.

The one-year edition is absolutely packed with brilliant content. There are articles from some amazing writers, including friends of mine, alongside people I’d never come across before but now follow on social media. There are recipes, tips, ideas, useful information and so much to dip in and out of.

I actually really enjoy picking it up with a cuppa in the evening and reading an article at a time. It’s definitely not something you read once and put away. It’s a magazine that keeps on giving.

A brilliant celebration of childminders and a really lovely resource to have. Highly recommend!

I haven't bought magazines for YEARS. Found I never had time to read them; most of the information was available online and there now seem to be more adverts than content. THEN I DISCOVERED NJAC!

i bought this to see what it was like. it was very differnt from other childcare magazines. it focuses more on childminders rather than the sector in general. has more personal stories rather than national policy. very refreshing change.

I got my first magazine last Christmas and was so excited to actually read something that was just for childminders. I have read many early years magazines and nothing has ever made me feel as heard as this one. I loved it so much I subscribed for the year and I am so
excited when I know the next one is on the way. The content covers everything from support, ideas, recipes and wellbeing.
I have also taken part in an AI workshop which
was well delivered and easy to understand which is so important to me as tech is not my strong point.
Finally I ordered the beast, a brilliant childminder planner. It has everything and more than you will need to run your business for a year.
If you have not tried the magazine yet I would definitely give it a go, you deserve it.

I have been following you for a bit now on social media, and some of the content related to me. Once I saw the diary I said I need that, even though I use an app, my thoughts were what happens if it goes down. I love the fact that its just not for work but there is something for me in there as well. I have shared this with my other practitioners as well. I was a childminder for 17 years, and then a Pre-School room leader and I am now an Early Education and Childcare Quality Officer for my local council, I came across Claire’s magazine quite by accident and bought a copy and I absolutely love it! Even though I am no longer childminding, I love all the wellbeing content and she gives me lots of great insight which supports me in the job I do now, which includes supporting childminders. I bought the first issue and then signed up for the year! As a Childminder, we are inspected just like nurseries, the industry is heavily focussed on nurseries and not enough credit or understanding is given to childminders who are working to the same standards! This magazine is for us, not nurseries, not schools, Childminders! I love the reminders to be kind to ourselves, to take time, reflect and hear stories of others. Its seasonal with lovely recipes, reflective prompts, planner pages and great ideas to enhance your setting. It has great ideas and some brilliant ways to utilise AI tools that have really helped me this year! If you're a childminder, you will love this magazine!

I really look forward to receiving my just a childminder newsletter it a great pick me up and it's always positive to get some confirmation that we are not alone in what can feel like a very lonely sector.

I have also purchased the planner which has been amazing and my daily go to and so useful having everything I need in one place ...it really is the biggest organiser I have ever seen ..so well laid out and extremely useful in our busy lives to have such a well thought out book helping to remove the pressure and enabling organisation x
