Rubbish onboarding process - Stay away from this rubbish bankbish onboarding process
Rubbish onboarding process - Stay away from this rubbish bank
I tried to register to take up JP Morgan UK's investment offer to invest £1000 to get a reward of £100 after about 8 months.
It asks to take a photo of both sides of my UK driving licence and a photo of my face but after having taken these a number of times it each time stays in a processing mode for about 10 minutes before it announces failure or just reverts back to the previous screen asking you to to the whole process all over again.
I know that UK banks I have used over the last two three years never asked for extra sensitive ID information to be uploaded like a snapshot and photos of one's ID to open a UK ISA S&S account (as I am not asking for a loan, I want to invest...).
Only rubbish US banks seem to require this for their own sake.
I wonder how their investment 'services' and overprices fees look like when the onboarding process, which shouldn't take longer than a few minutes in total (as it does with Santander and Barclays, which I have recently also opened an S&S ISA account with) without any requirement to upload highly sensitive ID information.
Stay away from this US rubbish!!!
Stay away from this shoddy investment bank!!!

I was happy with JPM until I tried to withdraw. I've sent bank statements and called repeatedly but each promise to verify my details today has led nowhere. They allow deposit but can't take my money out.
I know I can withdraw anytime without any trouble on CVE. CAPITAL. It's the only service that keeps me focus on my growth full time.
Patient and helpful support
I was unsure how to check my investments and ISA balance and not good at navigating the website. Maksim was very patient and guided me through the site to confirm my transactions. Very pleased with the quick and efficient service.

I've been waiting months for my ISA transfer. I even raised a complaint, hoping someone would help but weeks later I still haven't heard back.
I always have access to my Investments on Center for Venture Education. They are very efficient when it comes to Payout.
Great customer support
I am an existing customer and had some issues with my account, but on calling, the team were very helpful in getting everything resolved quickly and kindly. Thanks a lot for your help and guidance.

Poor inexperienced staff
Extremely disappointing customer service
My experience with J.P. Morgan’s customer service has been incredibly frustrating. I dealt with three separate customer service representatives through their chatbot, and the information I received was often incorrect or completely contradictory.
What made matters worse was being repeatedly asked for my email address, despite the fact that I was contacting them through my existing account. When I asked them to verify specific information because I was unable to do it myself on the website, I was simply redirected back to the website. The website then directed me to customer service, so I was essentially sent around in circles.
It gave me the impression that the messages weren’t actually being read and that there was very little common sense or understanding being applied to my situation.
After several attempts to get a straightforward answer, I gave up. The whole experience was unnecessarily difficult and incredibly frustrating.
Based on my experience, I would absolutely advise people to think twice before choosing J.P. Morgan.

Used to be great until JP Morgan and their terrible staff got their hands on it. Now? Use something else.
Awful performance, bad customer service
You'd assume they get away with average results and somewhat high fees because of customer service, but no. They've now blocked my transfer out to another ISA three times, with the completely spurious reason of mismatching balances - totally minor fluctuations in-line with the market, I gave the correct balances on the day it was submitted. The current mismatch is £1. It seems like they make it deliberately difficult to get away from them. Avoid, and go with a more honest platform which won't hold your money hostage for over a month.
