Driver updates a nightmare …

Repeated failures on updating graphics driver on a pc that is fairly new and in decent working order. I dread these updates. So annoying that I must ho through this process several times a month. Apparently the pc is fine so no one can help. Useless.

Nvidia was great

Nvidia was great , then now they have too much product, in 2022 a driver update completely obliterate my system , now i am stuck in a nvlddmkm error even i reset from factory my computer.
After contacting the support twice no fix, i've been searching what caused nvlddmkm, and now my personal research on it point overlay an malfunction of the driver in windows environement, did they fix it since 2023 ? Nope , do ppl complaint about it ? Yeah , did they decoy the problem with random fixes ? Yeah of course ...

NVIDIA app or driver can't update.

I need task scheduler running in the background in order to update or install any NVIDIA driver, and it had gotten to the point that I might as well just switch to AMD Radeon because I clearly do not have time to have a mental breakdown over this.

Late Update: The Radeon GPU didn't work out, so I'm back to using my old GPU that came installed by default, and now the NVIDIA App wants to update. Just great.

GeForce Now’s Playtime Cap Is a Scam

GeForce Now advertises “unlimited” cloud gaming, but they kick you off once you hit an arbitrary monthly hour limit. It kills immersion—why pay for a “premium” service that slaps a hidden countdown on your fun? The vague progress bar offers no real transparency, and rejoining means waiting in a queue while your clock keeps ticking. Until Nvidia removes this artificial ceiling, don’t waste money thinking you’re getting true unlimited play.

Starting from the good sides

Starting from the good sides - cutting edge technology to offer these great graphic cards, and drivers whccih are frequiently updated and it's important that games run smooth. Plus it offers fairly good range of products , like you can actually choose the one that fits your budget and depending on your needs and what you want.
However, idk what is the case, but a simple 3060 costs over 300 and I have even 400$ and this is too much for a card that has 50 cards better than it! Idk but the prices need to be regulated, I know it's about the vendors, but make it affordable.

Worst Customer Experience of My Life

This has been by far the worst customer experience of my life. Nvidia has completely betrayed and abandoned the loyal everyday customer that helped build their company in favor of supplying large companies and crypto miners.

They did a fake launch of their RTX 50 series card that saw little to no supply. Now I am waiting more than a month to even get my backorder product shipped (it still hasn't ). I called the retailer today and they said it could be several months wait. If you haven't ordered these products on backorder, you are probably not getting a card until the 60 series.

I'd like to believe this is incompetence but it feels like a deliberate approach to shamelessly get every last dollar out of their loyal customers.

This has ruined the purchase for me and even worse, I spent all this time and money building a computer for my 50 series card that I can't use. I mean I have supported this company for nearly a decade and this is how they show gratitude...The level of frustration and disappointment from this experience is indescribable.

Shockingly poor approach to customers

Shockingly poor approach to customers.

Launching a product without any supplies, competent pre-ordering system or any control over prices.

It’s 2025 and we have had 15+ years of regular phone and other consumer device launches, it’s just embarrassing to be this poor at them.

The NVIDIA App is the "essential" companion

I've had nothing but issues trying to download the NVIDIA App. Every attempt results in an error message stating: "Relaunch the app. If that doesn’t work, try reinstalling NVIDIA App and reboot your PC." Unfortunately, even after following these steps, the problems persist.

Compared to GeForce Experience, the new NVIDIA App feels like a downgrade. Not only does it introduce noticeable input latency, but it also runs multiple background processes that consume unnecessary system resources. On top of that, it collects telemetry data, further adding to the frustration. It feels as though NVIDIA is pushing this app as an essential tool for users when, in reality, it does more harm than good.

I can't help but wonder what discussions are taking place internally—perhaps more about developing bloatware than enhancing the user experience. Hopefully, future updates will address these issues, but for now, this app is a major disappointment.
