Skuffende oplevelse – ingen smag og ingen håndtering
Jeg bestilte stegt flæsk med persillesovs på Café Nytorv. Desværre smagte retten overhovedet ikke af persillesovs. Flæsket var tørt, og kartoflerne var meget melede, så helhedsoplevelsen var ikke tilfredsstillende.
Da jeg gjorde opmærksom på det over for tjeneren, virkede han defensiv og sagde, at han kunne spørge køkkenet, om de kunne lave en ny portion. Kort efter fik jeg beskeden om, at det ikke kunne lade sig gøre, da det var “for lang en proces”. Der blev ikke tilbudt en alternativ ret eller nogen form for kompensation, og jeg fik at vide, at der ikke kunne gøres mere, fordi ejeren ikke var til stede.
Det mest skuffende var ikke kun maden, men manglen på imødekommenhed og ansvar. Når en gæst giver konstruktiv feedback, bør der som minimum tilbydes en løsning – eksempelvis at vælge en anden ret.
Jeg håber, at caféen fremover vil tage både kvalitet og kundeservice mere alvorligt.
Title: Disappointing experience – poor quality and no resolution
I ordered traditional Danish stegt flæsk (crispy pork belly with parsley sauce) at Café Nytorv. Unfortunately, the dish did not taste like parsley sauce at all. The pork was dry, and the potatoes were very floury, which made the overall meal disappointing.
When I raised this with the waiter, he seemed defensive and said he would ask the kitchen if they could prepare a new portion. I was later informed that this was not possible because it would be “too long of a process.” No alternative dish or compensation was offered, and I was told that nothing else could be done as the owner was not present.
What disappointed me most was not only the food quality but the lack of service recovery. When a guest provides feedback, there should at least be an option to choose another dish or receive some form of resolution.
I hope the café will take both food quality and customer service more seriously in the future.
