Excellent buying experience. Was looking for reclaimed oak beam to use as a bressummer beam above a fireplace. Kim found exactly what I was looking for in their stock and sent ‘before’ photos. Then arranged for cleaning and finishing before sending ‘after’ pics. Delivery went smoothly and now I’m the proud owner of a great chunk of old oak!

The best oak beams we have found anywhere and the customer service to match. Our builder recommended Oak Beam UK and came out to help us choose the right pieces. There were so many to choose from and Nick knew the heritage of each one. The team prepared two beams for us and when we came to see them prior to delivery we weren’t sure about one of them, so they found another for us. No stress, no hassle. They even found one with a similar chamfer so they would look authentic. We are still mid renovation but already the beams make a huge difference and we are really grateful to the team at Oak Beam UK for making sure we’ve had everything we needed. We will be going back for Stage 2, which will be to cover an existing RSJ within oak.
The customer service was fantastic, they searched for a piece of reclaimed air dried oak and then sent me photos first to let me confirm. Then waxed it up and sent those photos over, all this before i even paid for it. really installed confidence in me. Paid and it was dispatched and with me in 2 days.
Since then i have managed to get plaster on it and when i asked for their advise on rewaxing this area they have sent a pot of wax to me free of charge. Brilliant, well done, if only every company could be this good. Then i suppose there'd be no need for trust pilot.
