It takes too long for package to…

It takes too long for package to arrive. I didn’t get the package yet, it’s been almost 14 days since my pruchase.

Based on the checks carried out on your order, we can confirm that it was shipped on 03/03/2026 and that on 09/03/2026 the GLS courier attempted delivery but was unable to complete it because you were not at home. Subsequently, you requested delivery to a ParcelShop for collection.

We would also like to clarify that your order was shipped on the fourth business day and was therefore fully within the expected timeframe. As stated on our website, standard delivery times within the EU range from 2 to 6 business days from the moment the parcel is handed over to the courier. I am also attaching the GLS tracking information.

Non delivery and poor customer service

I ordered a pair of sunglasses from Occhialando in mid-December. The package was later marked as delivered while we were travelling and therefore could not have been received.

At Occhialando’s request, I completed and signed the carrier’s non-receipt declaration confirming that the package was not received.

Since then, the matter has been ongoing for weeks. Despite multiple follow-ups, the only response has been that they are still waiting for the carrier to reply. No replacement, refund, or other solution has been offered.

It is disappointing that the issue is repeatedly referred to the delivery company rather than being resolved for the customer. From my perspective, the seller should take responsibility for solving the problem.

Unfortunately, this has been a very frustrating customer service experience.

Update:

I am still waiting for a resolution after almost four months.

Occhialando continues to refer the matter entirely to the courier, without taking responsibility. It is common practice to offer a replacement or refund while clarifying the issue with the delivery company in the background.

Very disappointing handling of this case.

According to our checks, the shipment tracking currently shows the parcel as delivered by GLS. Until the courier provides us with an official communication or evidence to the contrary, the shipment must therefore be considered delivered based on the information available in the carrier’s system.

As you indicated, we have received and forwarded to the courier the signature disclaimer declaration that you completed and signed. On our side, we have already made several follow-ups with GLS in order to obtain clarification regarding the delivery.

Unfortunately, we have not yet received any response from the courier, and the case is therefore still pending their reply. As soon as we receive an official update, we will inform you and handle the situation accordingly.
