Brilliant experience at little cost!
Excellent cinema experience at the Odeon Silver screen at Beckenham this afternoon watching the film Michael. Tea and biscuits provided too and the whole experience for £2 - great value. The cinema was almost full. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very sad to hear this valued community asset will be closing soon but hopeful that the community will rally round in the hope it can be saved as a cinema. It will be a great loss to Beckenham and Penge community if not.

Been coming to this cinema for many years .
Great size as I prefer to be distant from the screen.
Shame it is closing as it has been serving the community for a long time.
Why I enjoy going to the Odeon in Beckenham.
The staff are very welcoming, friendly and polite. The cinema is clean and comfortable with plenty of snacks to choose from. It feels like a staff place to be in so you can relax and get lost in the film you're watching.
great film and great deal for silver age
Great film
Great film, Staff very helpful and friendly ! But so many people came in late when the film had started! Very annoying getting up out of our seats to let them sit down, shining their phones at everyone, they shouldnt be allowed in after the film had started, this has happened a lot when we have been to this cinema!
Excellent film
Excellent film. I really enjoyed. First time I have been to the cinema on my own as my husband could not make it. I am 70. I am really glad I went. Thank you.
good night out, good film
Enjoyed my trip; comfortable, clean cinema, plenty of legroom in seats, and friendly helpful staff
Staff called David was supper helpful…
Staff called David was supper helpful and friendly. The other ones seemed a bit moody but i believe it is because it was the end of their shift and because that odeon is unfortunately about to be shut down for good.
Otherwise happy with my experience.
Never close Beckenham Odeon
Sound problems
The cinema and staff were okay. Unfortunately there were difficulties with the sound of the movie, and there were many sections that we didn't hear what was said.
The Heart of the Beast
I was asked what led me to give 5 stars.........The staff, the film, the experience. Can't believe Beckenham Odeon its closing. A very, very sad day for the local community.
Consider staying in Beckenham
The convenience of having a cinema where I live is indeed a gem. I’ve never had an issue at the Odeon. The Odeon is close to celebrating 100 years in operation. As anything close to 100, maintenance is necessary, but I love the escapism and memories the cinema has created over the years. Thank you

Awful seats full of popcorn and the people around us all shouting and screaming it wasn’t the best experience we had floors sticky not the best fan of odeon beckenham at the moment
Save our local cinema!
We love going to our local cinema and are really concerned that Citygate Church is threatening to take it away from us. I hope the Asset of Community Value application is successful and Citygate's change of use application fails. I look forward to us keeping our local community's cinema.
Hot Drinks unavailable
No tea available at 8.30pm.
Toilets a bit messy.
Cheesy smell from nachos on arrival in foyer, very pungent and off putting.
Premium seats were roomy, but plastic seats and non carpeted floors made it feel like sitting on a bus.
