The Worse Cinema Experience Ever!!
My wife and I thought we'd treat ourselves to an IMAX experience at the IMAX ODEON cinema in Greenwich to watch a horror film. Apart from the food being well over-priced as usual and as in most cinemas, we thought, no bother, as the experience of watching a film on a large quality screen would be worth the expenditure.
We could not have been more wrong! The bright theatre lights remained on even after the main movie had started with no automatic dimming, and the display on the screen appeared to be 4:3 in size with VERY poor contrast and colour fidelity even after getting up to ask one of the Odeon employees to dim the lights. We couldn't believe it when the lights were manually switched off with what looked like a single old and cheap light switch you would find in a house storage room! In less than 2 minutes into the film we decided enough is enough and left with a full refund.
To conclude, based on this bad and expensive experience, we will never attend this cinema ever again - period!
