Dear Dom, thank you for your review. As previously mentioned and confirmed in our emails, the door in question was in working order (locking & closing) when installed in December 22. The door was also in good working order when our team members visited site on 31st January 23.
When you emailed through and reported that you were struggling to lock the door in April 23, we confirmed, as per our terms and conditions that door hinge adjustments were not covered by any guarantees. This is industry standard for garden room companies and indeed, window and door installation companies.
As confirmed, all hinged doors can move slightly over time due to temperature change and gravity. This can make the door difficult to shut or lock.
All of our doors can easily be adjusted to realign them, with an Allen key. We provided the instructions and information on how to adjust the doors and could of carried out a walk through video call to help you adjust the single door.
From our correspondence, we understand that you employed a local 'handy person' to adjust the door for you, the door then dropped again, meaning that you had to call out the person again at cost.
Please note that your electrical items are still within warranty, if you could kindly email us with the issues and confirm which lights you have a problem with, we will rectify this as soon as possible for you.
