I've only been there when I was 2 or 1 yrs, no I have never seen a tornado

Haven't been there, just curious about the name. Why is there a shop called Oklahoma in England? Oklahoma is an Indian name, or rather derived to mean a place where Native American Indians live. (Just FYI: it means 'home of the red man' :) )

I had ordered some items online and there was a slight delay in delivery. I contacted the store and Angela promptly checked the tracking information and sorted out the delay with Royal Mail. My item was delivered the next day. I was very pleased with the quality of the items I ordered and found they looked as good in person as in the photographs online. I will definitely order from Oklahoma again and hope to visit in person when I am next in Manchester.

Never go to Manchester without a pop into Oklahoma - fab array of unusual trinkets, quality items and books etc. Great service from lovely staff.

Oklahoma is one of my most favourite shops! One of the great things I miss about living in Manchester. I regularly do a 400 mile 'round trip to come back to bee city, and I ALWAYS visit Oklahoma. I'll bee (haha) honest and say sometimes it's a little expensive, but only when it comes to the more generic gift shop bits and bobs (and I may find that because living in the Valleys means everything is half the price of the rest of the country).

It has an amaaaaazing selection of quirky, pretty jewellery and most of my earrings and necklaces come from there. Most recently, a beautiful succulent-in-a-pot necklace that I adore. I have compliments on it every time I wear it. I used to have a gorgeous pair of zip earrings that the children in my class found hilarious, but they broke. Sad times. Keep hoping they'll be there when I visit but alas, not yet! One day I WILL purchase a pair of the funny mini-people earrings.
