My sofa is a Whitechapel Extra Large in Hobnail Leather. As far as I'm aware, 3 stars means Good. Overall I love the look, the feel of the leather, the stitching, the smell and it's overall character. My Uncle was a Saddler and Harness maker, but could make anything from the old money bags for Banks, Doctors Bags down to Handbags and Belts, I think he would have inspected my sofa and given it the thumbs up. Alas, I think he would agree with me on the 2 points that I am unhappy with, those being that the seating cushions are not reversable, this being disirable for obvious reasons as well as longevity. Also the fillings of the seating cushions are made of 3 sections in each cushion and between sections there is a clear indentation so each cushion looks as though they're made up of 3 sausage rolls. Also there is puckering on 2 of the front facing cushions where the stuffing has not been inserted fully, I thought this would have disappeared with use and could have been "hidden" if the cushions were reversable. Customer Service was fine, Delivery guys were fine, so my 3 star opinion of Old Boot I think is justified. I would use them again but be more precise with my requirements. I bought my urbanite black vintage leather sofas back in 2015. I asked for extra plump cushions in the large setee and that’s exactly what I got.. I’m sitting on my sofa 5 years later and admiring them both.. I’m sure they look as new as when we bought them!!!

I ordered my Chesterfield in October last year and received it in January this year, I knew it would take a while as it was made to order but the Covid crisis added to the wait although I was kept informed of the progress at various times, I was even offered a small money back discount if I was prepared to wait till after Xmas for my order.

I have had my two Whitechapel sofas finished in hobnail leather, 'Rugger' in colour for over three months now. I am loving them more and more with each day. The dogs are on them everyday, not one scratch. They are a little slippy to start with but this soon wears off. The leather has not deteriorated other than becoming more comfortable.
Craftsmanship, customer service from start to finish and delivery (it wasn't the easiest) were faultless. So happy with my choice, would highly recommend due to their guidance in leather finish for purpose required, colour and end result. Just wish I could fit another one in! Looking forward to having these sofas for many years to come.

Lovely looking, excellent quality sofa, I am so pleased with it- it looks amazing in our new home. Fantastic communication throughout from the staff at Old boot.

We visited the showroom in London and very quickly with the help of Jenny, chose the right sofas together with footstools. My husband wanted slightly different sizes for one of the sofas and footstool - not a problem as they hand make the furniture !
I did contact them during the wait between ordering and delivery as I can be a little impatient but all of the staff I spoke with were very sweet and understanding.
The delivery was on time and we made sure the way was cleared around our property to enable delivery could take place directly into our lounge without going through the house (Covid safe).
Delivery was swift and efficient with the guys setting up the furniture within our lounge. It looks fabulous!
So pleased we found you and have no problem recommending you to ayone who wants good quality bespoke furniture. Have a wonderful Christmas to all at Old Boot.

We received our Chester 3 and 2.5 seater sofas today and we are so pleased with them. We visited the showroom back in September after stumbling across Old Boots accidentally on the back of a google search. The hour drive into London was worth it as the attention and interaction from the staff was fantastic. We went away to consider our style, colour and leather choices and paid a further visit a couple of weeks later to cement our decision. The interaction following our order was good and we always received a timely response to our emails. We encountered an issue with a footstool we ordered as an afterthought during our 2nd showroom visit however, this was addressed and dealt with. Things can go wrong but it’s how the situation is rectified that makes all the difference and the issue was handled very well. There was a delay with the delivery however, it is understandable that during a pandemic logistics can be impacted. The Old Boots team responded to our update request emails in a timely fashion. The delivery drivers were fab, great care and attention. We look forward to many years with our lovely new sofas.

Absolutely disgusted at thus ‘bespoke’ company. In September I placed my order, paid the deposit, the promise was to have delivery before Christmas, the promise was the consumer would be contacted half way through the order, that never happened. I chased this organisation several times, received a notice for the remaining 50% as my order was ready, I paid immediately. A week later no delivery date, that was Wednesday. I’m a nurse, between patients I chased the company, to be given the delivery company number, I tried to call them - they didn’t receive calls from mobile phones! Finally got through after many more calls, they told me I had a three hour window for deliver THE NEXT DAY. As a nurse 👩‍⚕️ was unable to just drop everything! They told me you can’t have it until after Christmas! I went back to Old Boot, I spoke to one ‘person’ I will spare naming her, she could not give a hoot! I asked for the Directors details to be told ‘He is on furlough’ asked for his email to be told ‘there isn’t one’! To end the experience, she told me she would look for an alternative to get my paid and completed sofa delivered! I chased up at 12.30 the next day - she didn’t even have the customer service to call me!!!! The order has been cancelled- apparently a full refund is on the way! I have subsequently ordered from NEXT. Do NOT use this outfit! They look like a bespoke quality organisation- they will hit and run!

We could not be more thrilled with our Alfie sofa. It looks amazing and is the most comfortable sofa we have ever had. The service we received from the Old Boots team from the moment we walked into the store to the day our sofa was delivered was first class. Could not recommend them highly enough!

A full 5 stars. Just taken a slightly delayed delivery. An Urbanite sofa in vintage leather. It looks great and is wonderfully comfortable. The delivery team were quick, polite and efficient. Another 5 stars for the front team, Zoe and Jenny, always there to respond rapidly to any queries. Highly recommended. Support Old Boot if you’re looking for a new sofa.

I wasn’t going to give the full five stars as if I’m honest there have been a few hiccups on the way, and the sofa did take longer than anticipated, it also arrived with the wrong feet, but we are all working in unprecedented times and I will put this down to that. Saying that I was given a leather care kit to help compensate and now I have the sofa it’s absolutely lovely, Zoe and Jenny have been excellent and I would thoroughly recommend using a small company like old boot, as you actually speak to a person rather than a bot !!!

So impressed with Old Boot Sofas. The customer service was exemplary from start to finish, especially given the constraints of covid. I struggled to decide between the vintage tan & vintage brown but having seen the samples, opted for vintage tan and was not disappointed. The sofa is stunning. The quality of leather is amazing boasting superb craftsmanship and the comfort is incredible, considering also that I ordered without visiting a showroom. Even the delivery guys were in a league of their own. They were courteous & above all careful. I will not hesitate in ordering from Old Boot Sofas again and only wish I had found them sooner, having made several costly, bad buys in the past few years. I must add that I am an absolute perfectionist & the sofa was just that ......perfect! Cheers to Old Boot Sofas, you deserve every success!

I have been extremely impressed with all aspects of dealing with this company from day one. I was sent samples of chosen leathers straight away and was followed up with a personal telephone call when we had placed our order the next day. I was told due to present difficulties during lockdown that it would be longer than the usual 8-10 weeks for my sofa to be ready, so there were no nasty surprises . All my communications by e-mail were replied swiftly and now I have a gorgeous sofa bed. I am very very happy.Thank you to all concerned.
