As for the taste of foie gras, you have purchased a raw product - not a ready-to-eat item. It requires proper preparation and seasoning, which ultimately determines the final taste and experience.

The Hackel back I had very pretty pearly eggs. What’s sad, they didn’t pop. It was more like a spread still really good. But I really wanted to experience that popping.

This product is packed with a moisture-absorbent pad to maintain product quality and freshness during shipping and storage. The net weight stated on the label reflects the weight of the product as packed, inclusive of any liquid released during thawing that is absorbed by the pad. If the pad is removed after thawing, the measured weight may be lower than the stated net weight. This is normal and does not indicate a shortage in the product you received.
Since this product is not manufactured by OLMA Caviar, we have no control over the packaging process. The manufacturer's information is printed on the label, and you are welcome to contact them directly regarding production matters.
On our end, we have verified that the product information on the label is accurate. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you are welcome to return it for a full refund.
