Nice watch (planet ocean) but Omega seems to have great difficulty in supplying watches with correctly aligned bezels.

Service nightmare
I sent my new Speedmaster to New Jersey service center in January.Omega keeps changing the return date each connact with the service department tells a new and different story on status of my watch.Today I was informed the watch is in New Jersey or it could be in Europe. Much like my Speedmaster Omega Customer Service belongs on the moon.Hello Ebay good bye Omega
Beautiful watch, pitiful service from Omega Bullring store
Beautiful watch - dismal Birmingham Bullring support. Popped into the Birmingham Bullring Boutique on Saturday 14th April to discuss service options for my Seamaster Chrono that appears to have stopped working. In the past have had excellent customer service from this store, but it appears the good staff have since left. Spoke to a young chap about the problem and despite me buying the watch here some years previously, he wasn't interested. No warmth or friendliness at all. Just quoted a price for service (£800+) and that was it. Left the store and headed into Goldsmiths Bullring instead. Complete contrast - made to feel like a very valued customer indeed. The price was the same, but that is not the point. We were made to feel welcome and treated like a customer. Unlike Omega Bullring - who didn't give a damn. Will never step foot in this store again.
Fabulous watch, appalling UK service.
I love my Omega which I have had for 14 years, but now feel compelled to sell and move to another brand due to the appalling service cost and performance in the UK.
After my first service, it had to be returned twice due to poor timekeeping and the second service took an unbelievable 6 months (2 months longer than promised)!
At current service rates of £500, your Omega costs you about £6 a month to run, and will spend 7% of its time in the Omega service centre.
Omega will tell you about a shortage of skilled staff, but I wonder how many apprentices they train each year! It's a problem entirely within their control.
Update: watch stopped for 3.5 hours last night for no reason. 5 weeks after service. Omega gave me some nonsense about the power reserve and needing to manually wind it which I have never needed to do in 14 years. I wear the watch 24/7 so why would the power reserve need topping up? Such poor service, words fail me. Definitely time to move on.
My husband and I visited the omega shop…
My husband and I visited the omega shop in Cardiff city centre, on arrival we were greeted by Charlie spring and Mustafa. Throughout our time in the shop Charlie provided us with all the information we required with no pressure at all. Which was something I really appreciated. The hospitality was outstanding and service we received from Charlie was second to non. We explained we wanted time to consider and said we would return to the shop on the following day. We returned as promised and again had a very warm welcome. Charlie again gave us his full attention answering any questions we had. We decided on our purchases and had no pressure at all. The experience we had was outstanding and I would like to thank Charlie for that. I would highly encourage a visit if you are considering purchasing a new watch, as omega are so helpful and considerate to your personal needs with no pressure at all.

My 19 year old Seamaster Professional…
My 19 year old Seamaster Professional has suffered the same defect within 6 years, ie bracelet pin failure, both instances in same position. Omega wanted me to return it to them for investigation/repair. Unfortunately having little faith in so called insured postal service I opted to use local jewellers who serviced the watch last time. Imagine my horror to be told by the jewellers that this was in fact a design fault that Omega were aware of, and my disgust that this was not explained to me by Omega. I feel that if I had sent timepiece to them for repair, I could have been cajoled into replacing the whole bracelet.( that is my opinion not an accusation). Fortunately jewellers replaced/repaired with genuine parts at a cost of £20. I did inform Omega of my intention and suggested that they speak to the jeweller for an update/report on condition/fault/repair etc. As far as I am aware they did not take up the matter with the jeweller. As far as I am concerned seeing this was due to a design fault (twice), at the very least Omega should compensate the cost of repair. Subsequently I will not be recommending Omega to others based on attitude and how emails subsequently dried up once informed that I was unwilling to send it to them for inspection/repair and possibly a larger bill.

Omega Knightsbridge very good service
I attended the shop in Knightsbridge, I was served by Datsa, she was very helpful and kind. I enjoyed my visit including a glass of wine. Much valued and beautiful products of which I already have one.

Very unhappy with service from Omega…
Very unhappy with service from Omega service centre. Took watch into Beaverbrooks on 22nd August 2022 for them to return for a service, watch 6 years old, informed due to workload it would be the middle to end of December before I would get it back. In middle of December I was informed increased workload would mean watch not returned until end of January 2023, at end of January informed watch would not be returned until end of March, again delayed due to workload. If my watch is in workshop already any additional workload should come in behind it and not impact my service time. Very poor service, have no confidence as to when I will get it back. Interesting to see if Omega contact me.

Service
I am gutted to find out my watch that was sent in for a service in October is now not being returned until May.
After being initially told 18 weeks and it now looking like it will take double that time is so disappointing.
I inherited this watch recently and it means a lot to me. Having had no communication from Omega during this period to manage my expectations is so far below the level of care I was expecting for the price point.

Frustration
In 1996 I purchased an Omega watch which I still have and it still runs well so I decided to acquire another. I bought a Sea Master Planet Ocean in 2016 which developed problems with reliability followed by the bracelet needing replacing and the strap splitting even though it had never been near water. It is now in for repair again and has been for six months with no sign of it being returned, In the meantime I have had to purchase another watch. You would think a company like Omega would have performed better. The watch has been in for repair longer than I have worn it.

Service Centre in the UK is useless
Service Centre in the UK is useless. My X33 is with them for the fifth time in just over 2 years with the same problem. The first time I sent it to be fixed they just changed the battery and sent it back. I didn't even remove it from the shop as the fault was obvious. Back it went, back it came with another new battery and the same fault. Returned again and this time it was finally put right. Within 12 months it went wrong again. I was so fed up with omega and the watch I left it for nearly a year before sending it for a service, expecting to get a useable, reliable watch back. No chance. The evening I collected the watch the bracelet broke. The next working day it was returned again to Omega. I am still waiting to see what state it is returned in. 3 years and 3 movements. Where is the quality?
Sent my watch for service in Sept 22
Sent my watch for service in Sept 22. Still not ready. Been told another 10 weeks yest. Excuses:
1. Covid 19 - it is now 23!
2. No parts - you make them!
3. Ukraine war!
Boutique have given up and advised to use local repair in future. Promised a call from the UK service manager twice, still waiting.
Omega is now a broken company and will not buy another. Service is not as good as terrible.

Awesome product and service/Regent Street Boutique
Bought three new watches from Regent St Boutique London over last 11 months and if there was 6* they have earned it easily. Fantastic customer service from minute 1 on first visit as new customer walk in and perfection maintained on every visit. Great team , attentive and passionate knowledge . Very rare to find service like this these days. Matches perfectly with the product in this store. The manager of this Boutique does a fantastic job and this obviously filters down to his team. Now on the subject of servicing, I had a 12 week wait on one but the results were exceptional. That included a new balance bridge that had to come from Switzerland. A 2012 well worn watch came back new. All for £450. Top value , unlike Rolex at £1000. They are trying to get more staff to meet demand which must be immense but I can't imagine you can magic up a highly skilled watchmaker to standard overnight. Awesome product and service all round.

Less than budget service!
After quite a bit of complaining to omega via the boutique, watch returned a month or so late from original date but a few weeks before the newest quoted date of completion. Something tells me that omega queuing system for customers watches needs looking at, going from front of line to the back of the line just because it's waiting for parts is not very fair! That, combined with a lack of watch technicians, makes for a very poor service.
Anyway, boutique staff, in hindsight, did the best they could with limited cooperation from Omega. Boutique made good in the end.
Original review still stands for overall service received.
Luxury watch with a less than budget service!
Seamaster been away for a service (£700!!) since July 2022! Expected to be returned 27th December, then 27th January now 1st March 2023! Boutique keep telling me waiting for parts, screen shot of service notes from omega say unable to compete due to lack of technicians! Omega consider it to be acceptable to keep someone's property for over 32 weeks when the original date was an already outrageous 19 weeks!
Dates are only every delayed around 3 or 4 days before it is due to be returned! Surely if it's being extended by a month each time, omega have a fair idea it won't be ready for the date they say we'll before they go ahead and update the tracking!!
Confidence in the brand has been lost! (Restored somewhat by the boutique)
19 weeks, 27 weeks, 32 weeks!!! At which point does it become theft??
Possibly could be worthwhile advising any potential customers at the local boutique of the absolutely shocking service!
Omega,
Please don't bother replying with your usual BS about not having anyone to compete work. Have someone look into it and do something about all the complaints on here! The alternative would be to advise your potential new customers at your boutiques of the poor service.

Absolutely lovely team
The customer service in the Battersea Power Station branch was excellent, they really made my family and I feel welcome and took their time to show us each piece and let us decide. The team were so knowledgeable and absolutely lovely. I love going back into the store to browse!

From my last review (5* watch 1*…
From my last review (5* watch 1* service) I now have to thank omega for the return of my watch and the discount they applied as an apology for the length of time for the service to be completed. The watch is in as new condition and looks stunning. I sincerely hope omega can get to grips with finding skilled repairers to shorten the length of time for servicing as I felt saddened to write the last review of a brand I have loved for many years ,thank you.

Awful experience like many others on…
Awful experience like many others on here.
I handed my omega speedmaster in for a service via goldsmiths in Aug 22. I waited about 5 weeks just to get the quote back from them. I went ahead with the full service and was told the watch will be ready for collection in Jan 23. That in itself seemed like a ridiculously long time for a service. I had an email early jan saying it now won’t be ready until the end of March 23. I’m paying well over £600 for this! What an absolute joke. I’m sick of the covid excuse - how long will covid be the excuse for terrible customer service/experience.
If it’s not back by March I’ll report the watch as stolen.

Awful experience
Awful experience. Sent my SMP in as the date wheel is off centre and the bezel misaligned. Had to keep chasing as i wasn’t receiving any updates. Eventually got it back after about 6 weeks and the date wheel is still off centre and the bezel still misaligned!! Looks like it just sat there for weeks and they did nothing! I’m fuming. Don’t even trust them to send it back to them. Wish there was another service centre or different customer service team I could speak to. Totally put off Omega after this experience and won’t buy another one.

Shocking Service Delay - No Communication
Same poor experience as the other user regarding service delays. Watch handed in to Omega Sydney June 2022 for service and now told it should be ready mid January 2023. No updates or communication given during entire time. Have had to chase for any information.
Omega SeaMaster Polaris restoration
Sent my Omega SeaMaster Polaris back for refurbishment after wearing every single day for 37 years! It remained functional but the case and bracelet looked worn and shabby. This watch has shared many memories which are irreplaceable and cannot be valued. The watch was returned after 5 months on exactly the day they promised. Honestly, it looks brand new. I have to praise the skill of the watch repairs at Swatch, (I believe it was returned to Switzerland) and the fact they still carry spares for a model this old. The quotation for the cost was accurate and customer service was top notch. No complaints.
I hope this watch will now last for the rest of my days on my wrist, hopefully in a quieter existence than the first 37 years of out activity; climbing, swimming, diving, exploring as well as house building and gardening. I would recommend Omega restoration service without hesitation.
