I'm pleased to say that my problem is fixed. I had difficulty moving from folder to subfolder, and then to the sub-sub folders. Everything seems to be in order. Changing my review to 5 stars.

Actually, I didn't plan to upgrade to the Max version, because I only use this software (very long years) as a stand alone version.
However, now I have purchased this new version and am very satisfied with it.
Even if the AI Restore function sometimes goes a little beyond the target, it is quite capable of providing an adequate replacement for Adobe products.
Very good photo software with very good work.

I scan my old negatives. Some need heavy repairs. It used to take a lot of time to correct these.
Now, a simple a simple click works miracles with the retauration tool. It even adds color if I want.
Then I modify the image as I like, without having to change application.
There is a bit of a learning curve, but it is worth it.

I have not enough time to fully explore…
I have had little time to fully explore the new features. But from what I did see was remarkable. Old photos scanned from slides were totally revamped. Sometimes a bit too artificial where it started to show, but I guess it will require some more experience and fine tuning.

Meh…
My questions re: on1 2026 weren't answered but rather given a vaguely-worded response or ignored . Some of the program’s features are very impressive but the AI portrait feature is…not. Makes every face look like a photoshopped magazine cover, smooth complexions and at times makes faces completely unrecognizable. And when I use the slider to reset the face back to its original form, I’m never able to completely reset it.
Too, every time I use the ai feature, I have to close the photo and reopen it to edit it; same goes for resize. Why?

I first became an owner of on1 software…
I first became an owner of on1 software some 20 odd years ago at a photographic show I attended. Loved what it did and purchased a copy. But then got sucked into the adobe-sphere. Glad I have rediscovered On1 and seen how it has developed into adobe killing software. I do hope you keep away from the subscription model I’ve always preferred owning things than renting. Keep it up I like 2026 max and can’t wait to explore all it has to offer. Wish I had made the change sooner.

Amazing Software, Especially "Restore AI"
While the learning curve is really difficult (and, I'm in the middle, of over 500 pages, of explanation, and know PS backwards, and forwards), once learned, this software will be amazing! I would have purchased it, if for no other reason, than to have "Restore AI". That portion, of the software is easy to learn, and is simply amazing!!
