Product not as described, refund policy abysmal.

My partner bought 3 "Pura"bottles from this company. Over priced by a good margin in my opinion. However she liked them so fair enough. One of the bottles received for whatever reason, perhaps to do with the colour of the rubber wrap around, allowed the printed measuring scale on the bottle to show through. This gave the effect of making the bottle look dirty (photos will be uploaded later). Myself, upon reviewing the website, has noticed they have conveniently not shown the side of the bottle with this issue in any of the pictures. I wonder why? Reviewing the text of the website it states "Internal volume markings". Well this an inaccurate description as these markings are clearly externally visible also, on this specific bottle. My wife enquired about exchanging the item for one the same as the other Two bottles she had bought which didn't have this issue. Firstly we were told "we offer a full refund on unused and unopened items". My wife pointed out that obviously the item had been opened otherwise she wouldn't have seen the issue. When that was cleared up and they told us to send it back for 'inspection' (at our cost, with some excuse about being a small company therefore could afford blah blah) my wife rinsed the bottle as it had sat on the side for a few days (It was NEVER used!) the bottle was sent back. Today she receives an email refusing to exchange. copy of email below.

Well guys since you are a "small business" feel free to keep the bottle and the money. You clearly need and want it more than myself!

And take some advice from a fellow business owner. Don't mislead your customers. If your product has flaws, show those flaws BEFORE you sell it. If you can't do that, then at the very least make your returns policy more robust than an eBay listing from the mid 90's! And finally, as per your email below, if a customer has complaint about a certain thing, don't THEN try and upsell them on something completely unrelated to the problem they have!

Unfortunately we are not able to refund you on this item or exchange it for another as from what we can see, the bottle has clearly been used as it was still very wet when returned and it is not returned in the same condition as it was sold to you.

As I have mentioned before and as stated on our Returns policy, we would only refund or exchange items if the item is unused and is in a condition that we would be able to resell.

If you wish to purchase a Pura sports bottle or perhaps a Sports Lid accessory (to replace the Sippy Spout), please purchase via our website and we will return your Sippy bottle at the same time"
