I’ve had a genuinely good experience working for One Motion. The work is simple, the routes are reasonable, and most days just flow without unnecessary stress. Pay is fair and always turns up when it... See more

I have lost £490 after work 2 months…
I have lost £490 after work 2 months for the company. They have not paid any invoices. Am currently undergoing a legal process to have these invoices paid to me as a van driver.
I haven't started with this company…
I haven't started with this company yet, but I received a whatsapp message detailing what I could potentially earn and in writing it seems like a great job opportunity, but after reading all these reviews I think I'll stay with my current delivery job where I'm paid on time and any pay discrepancies are rectified immediately and with very little out lay for van damage/deposits, etc.
And if I go holiday or off sick I can return my van without having to pay the weekly charge until I'm ready to return to normal duties.
A massive thank you to all those who posted a review.
I think I'll steer well clear of One Motion!!!
They steal from drivers
They steal from drivers, they will pay as little as £20 for a week's worth of work and no where near the advertised £180 a day. Do not waste your time with this company that has been sued multiple times and lost
Robbing bastards take from the workers…
Robbing bastards take from the workers at this company, leaving them with nothing I hope all of the people sat in their offices at this company go to hell. Do not even think about working for this company. 3 months now, I have gone without being paid ONCE
The worst company ever to work for
The worst company ever to work for. They put fines on the drivers, the charge extras (huge amount)for the vans , they change the contracts without any notice but they want notice from the drivers and also they will keep you money for different reasons. No worth it. Avoid at all cost. Avoid avoid avoid.
5 stars
I have worked with One Motion Logistics for nearly 10 years and have always found them to be professional, reliable, and supportive. Communication is excellent, payments are always on time, and the team is always available to help when needed. It has been a pleasure working with them, and I would highly recommend the company to anyone looking for a long-term opportunity in the logistics industry.
DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY.
DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY.
I worked for a few months before leaving and returned the van in perfect condition. Now 16 months after I left I am received a letter from a debt collection agency saying I owe them money??? Fraudsters
Avoid at all costs
Do not work there under any circumstances, I'd rather be unemployed then work for one motion. Managers don't have a clue about payroll or anything to do with the business that they work for, after 3 days in you get made to do 120+ drops. Their HQ number always puts you on voicemail because they're apparently "super busy" at all times, they will be late on your pay by weeks and won't respond to any phone calls or emails made checking in about pay until you threaten legal action. Oh and if you ever speak with Liam Abdullah through an email chain, best believe that you will just receive snarky comments, mentioning that they don't actually have to pay me at all. The most useless staff I've ever witnessed. So far, my pay has been 3 week late, but if it continues I will be taking these scum to court.
UPDATE:
Now they are telling me that I have to pay them £150 per day for 30 days due to lack of notice, even though my subcontractor agreement was terminated by my on-site manager.
Worse experience ever
Worse experience ever. They train you then you collect their van from Oxford, you start getting shif of one or two days per week and they hold your payments until you return their van. In short you are a slave working to benefit them and not you.
A company that steals from its…
A company that steals from its employees in every possible way. We have insurance, we have parcels to deliver, but everything is blamed on the drivers. Even if the vans are damaged, it’s not their fault. I do not recommend them. The worst company that exists in England.
Watch out for them
Watch out for them. Absolutely do not rent any cars from them, no vans at all. Scammers, dishonest, they rob you, they don’t return deposits. Do not trust them at all.
Horrible company
Horrible company. I do not recommend them at all, from the bottom of my heart. Zero communication, zero support. For four or five months, I’ve been trying to call, I’ve been sending emails, I’ve been messaging on WhatsApp, and I’ve been trying to contact the managers. I get no response. The company charged me 900 pounds. I want to understand why they didn’t return my deposit. They didn’t return my payment. I do not recommend them. The worst company that could exist. I have no idea why this is legal in the UK, but I strongly advise against them. Watch out for them. This is the worst and most deceitful company in the UK. Never, ever rent a van from them. The van broke down, not my fault. There was nothing available. They gave me zero help. They wanted me to sort everything out myself, even though I had insurance and didn’t need to. When I sorted it out personally, they completely ignored me. And to this day, even though all the bills were settled, the company took the money, I still can’t contact them. They still haven’t returned my deposit. They still haven’t returned my payments. The worst, the worst company that exists. Take all of this and just avoid them completely.
Avoid One Motion (Onemotion) at all…
Avoid One Motion (One Motion) at all costs – Worst company I’ve ever worked for
I saw this company advertising on Indeed offering £180-£250 per day for self-employed drivers. Complete false advertising. After 7 weeks of work I only received £200 in total. That’s it.
The contract they give you is written for employees, not self-employed contractors. They want all the control but none of the responsibility. The moment you start questioning things, the excuses begin.
The assigned supervisors are liars and completely useless. If you get stuck or need any support, good luck – no one helps. The management is even worse. When I asked why we were being paid so little, they started blaming fuel usage and random things instead of giving a straight answer. Then mysterious admin fees and other charges kept appearing out of nowhere, eating away at whatever little money you made.
They offered me a position at the Leeds depot. Before the training day they suddenly said the Leeds trainer was off sick, so I had to drive to Goole depot (45 minutes away) with no travel expenses paid. They promised I’d be transferred to Leeds within a couple of weeks. That never happened. After wasting my time and money travelling, I finally left.
When I later applied for a driving job directly with another company at the Leeds depot, the manager there told me straight that One Motion’s contract had been denied because of the huge number of complaints and bad reviews against them.
This company treats drivers like absolute rubbish. They don’t see you as humans – just a way to run the business as cheaply as possible while squeezing every penny out of you. The £180-£250/day they advertise is fantasy. After fuel, van rental, deposit, admin fees and all the other hidden charges, most drivers are left with around £10 a day.
Do yourself a favour and stay far away from One Motion. Not worth a single day of your time.
Planning and scheduling is excellent
Planning and scheduling is excellent, knowing how my week will be going.
I would not give them a one star but…
I would not give them a one star but have no choice I worked for this despicable company I had to leave because my wife was rushed to hospital after cutting her hand open and getting sepsis arthritis in the joints witch nearly killed her they wanted me to take van back from Dundee to Edinburgh even tho they never paid my wages got told by my site manager radu that I was to pay for a train or bus bearing in mind I had no money to get bk to dundee he came and collected van they have charged me £700 for recovery charge u for the fuel and don't reimburse u the fuel u don't use £68 for a wee scratch on the side plastic due to bushes on a country road that I had no choice but to go down for a delivery when asked radu why I wasn't getting paid he told me to call accounting they told me it was radu to sort it they are a bloody joke so AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAUGE as instead of them paying you you are paying them to work for them
I’ve been invited to a training day…
I’ve been invited to a training day this Wednesday. I asked way the wages were after deductions for the van etc and I was told drivers ares taking bike between 650 and 800 and that’s after deductions .
Is this true ? After reading these reviews I think I’ll I’ll swerve this one .
Wouldn’t give 1 star if I could avoid…
Wouldn’t give 1 star if I could avoid working for these company I left and they refused to pay me cause I wasn’t going to work and get paid every 6 weeks and they want you to work 7 days a week and have no breaks during your shift
It's a great company.
AVOID AVOID AVOID
I did 3 days training with this shambles of a company . Then 1 on the road on my own . Second day I locked my key in the back of the van as it was mother's day and very busy . This happened at 12pm . A bloke called Radu (site manager) kept saying an hour an hour until he'd be there with the spare . 7pm I decided to leave and go home as they knew I have mental health issues. Now they're trying to charge 700 odd quid for recovery of van and uniform 168 quid and 130 something for damage to the van apparently. Now Iv not been paid what I'm owed and just being ignored. AVOID AVOID AVOID this company by all means
