An exquisite personal experience

My experience was very personalized. Double checking the accuracy of the delivery details, the responsiveness of the team via indieGo and the customer support, gives me the comfort that my order and my investment is safe and is in the right place.

Keep up the good work, OneXPlayer.

Work great for games testing and sculpting

I bought the OneXPlayer X1 Air and it works great, just as expected. I love the immersive feeling I only get from OneXPlayer. Great work! I am using Bazzite and have found zero issues.I also bought two stylus pens for drawing, one from this store and the other from Amazon Japan. Both pens work great. However, the packaging for these expensive styluses was very poor. There was no warranty information or paperwork, and the pen was wrapped in a cheap plastic bag inside a thin box. Furthermore, the photo of the pen was different from the one shown on the store page. A bit disappointing.

I honestly regret buying the Frost Bay…

I honestly regret buying the Frost Bay from OneXPlayer.
The unit arrived with a factory defect straight out of the box, and instead of taking responsibility immediately, they dragged me through WEEKS of pointless troubleshooting. Endless messages, emails, resets, all for a problem that was clearly their fault from day one.
Then after wasting my time for weeks, they finally admitted the unit needs repair… but now they expect ME to pay the shipping costs.
The cheapest shipping option from the U.S. through USPS is $93.
NINETY-THREE DOLLARS.
For a product worth around $200, they expect the customer to spend nearly HALF the value of the device just to return a defective unit they shipped in the first place. That is absolutely ridiculous.
How is it acceptable for a company to send out defective hardware and then push the financial responsibility onto the customer? There was zero compromise, zero accountability, and honestly zero respect for my time or money throughout this entire experience.
At this point, buying from them feels like a gamble: if your device works, great. But if it arrives defective, don’t expect real customer support unless you’re willing to lose more money fixing THEIR mistake.
I’m posting this because I wish someone had warned me before I bought from them.

⭐ Honest Review: ONEXGPU Lite – Defective Product, Extremely Difficult Return Process

I wanted to share my experience so other buyers can make an informed decision.

The Product

The ONEXGPU Lite failed to function as advertised. It did not enumerate or appear in Device Manager on multiple USB4-capable devices, including the ROG Xbox Ally X and a separate USB4 laptop. No external GPU appeared under Display Adapters, no PCIe tunneling occurred, and no drivers could even be applied because the device never established a hardware connection.

This is a hardware-level failure, not a driver or software issue.

Compatibility Issues

After purchase, support eventually admitted that the ONEXGPU Lite is not compatible with the ROG Xbox Ally X, despite:

No compatibility warnings on the product page
Marketing language implying broad USB4 support
No disclosures during checkout

If a major, popular USB4 handheld is incompatible, that should be clearly stated before purchase.

Customer Support Experience

The return process was far more difficult than necessary:

I was repeatedly asked to provide more “objective proof,” including videos, even after demonstrating the same failure on multiple devices.

Support consistently shifted responsibility toward “host compatibility” rather than the product itself.

Return shipping instructions initially implied I would be responsible for international shipping and customs, despite the return being approved as a quality issue.

After the device was returned and inspected, support attempted to deduct money for a free promotional case that was never listed as a paid item and was never mentioned in the return instructions.

Only after extensive back-and-forth did they agree to process the refund, and even then, only after deducting a small amount to close the case.

Final Thoughts

To their credit, I did eventually receive my refund. However, it required SIGNIFICANT effort, persistence, and detailed documentation to get there.

Key takeaways for potential buyers:

Do not assume USB4 compatibility is universal.

Be prepared for a very rigid and exhausting support process if something goes wrong.

Keep screenshots, videos, and all documentation.

Clarify return conditions in writing before sending anything back.

I would strongly caution buyers who value smooth customer support or transparent compatibility information.

Very bad customer service.

Very bad customer service.
I ordered oneplayer x1
And made the payment through PayPal
, the payment was pending in PayPal for security reasons, so I contacted the support team and the reply to me to cancel the order and request refund, so I did, and purchased other devices from other supplier
After this the pending payment released and they don’t want to refund me the money unless they cut 5%.
This some type of scam
I have full email conversation for this

Worst purchase of my life – avoid at all costs!

This was hands down the worst purchase I’ve ever made. If you’re thinking about buying from Onexplayerstore or their resellers, think again.

They do not honor the warranty if you buy from third-party resellers, even official-looking ones. And guess what? The resellers themselves offer zero support.

I threw $1500 straight into the trash. After a month of trying to get help, the “official” reseller refused to accept a return, blaming customs costs. They simply don’t care once they have your money.

If you’re in Europe, do yourself a favor and stay away from this product. There are better alternatives with actual customer support and functioning return policies.

Ordered a Onexplayer x1 mini and an…

Ordered a Onexplayer x1 mini and an empty box came after 2-3 weeks with no machine in it. Made a claim with them and they’re telling me to ask for my machine back off whoever delivered it! I still haven’t had my money back or a replacement after 2 months of going back n forth with them, fedex and now PayPal. Do not buy off this company.

OneXPlayer X1 AMD version – A Risky Purchase with Mixed Hardware and Service Experience

Usage time ~ 2 months.
Pros:
1. Hardware Performance:
- Powerful specs: 10.95-inch display, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD and capable processors.
- Handles demanding games well at higher wattage (30W).
- Battery life of 5–6 hours at lower wattage (15W) with minimal brightness (office work).
2. Display:
- High-resolution screen with vibrant colors and excellent brightness.
3. Flexibility:
- Can function as a tablet, gaming handheld, or laptop hybrid.
Cons:
1. Customer Service Issues:
- Poor communication: Employees struggle with English and avoid answering questions directly.
- Multiple shipping errors: Wrong address, missing components (keyboard), and financial disputes.
- Lack of professionalism: Blame-shifting and refusal to refund initial shipping costs.
- Compensation: Offered keyboard (accepted) / gift (declined due to frustration).
2. Defective Refurbished Units:
- First device: Speaker issues and dust behind the camera lens.
- Second device: Returned due to address error; incurred additional costs (they wanted me to pay 220$, which I refused, later I agreed to pay half of it).
- Third device: Missing keyboard, dust problems, and Chinese OS requiring manual reset.
3. Software Problems:
- Random wake-ups from sleep mode.
- System corruption necessitating factory reset and data loss!
4. Design Flaws:
- No dust-proofing; dust accumulates in camera and fan vents.
- Controllers detach frequently during gameplay, affecting usability.
5. Price Concerns:
- The device is expensive, but quality control issues make it feel overpriced.

Verdict: While the hardware is impressive, the device suffers from poor customer service, software bugs, and design flaws that undermine its value. Buying from Amazon or other trusted retailers may mitigate risks associated with direct purchases from the company.

Last word? I regret it! Don’t make my mistake!
