Induction meeting very helpful
I found the induction meeting very helpful. Mike did an excellent job showing us around the platform, making everything clear and easy to understand. So far, OBS seems to offer a lot of valuable support to its students, which I really appreciate.

I had a great experience with Online Business School. NO CERTIFICATE
UPDATE: 14/05. Now i been sent email saying i need to rework on my modules. i been passed ALL my modules in January and as i stated below now waited 5 months for a certificate and NOW was asked to redo my modules. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. DISGUSTING. OBS PROVIDE ME RESPOND TO THIS REVIEW. I WANT EVERYONE TO SEE HOW BAD YOUR COMPANY IS.
I have also experienced the same when I completed my business management diploma. review date. Aug 18, 2023
and most recently I completed the Level 4 Accounting and Finance course over four months ago, and I am still waiting for my certificate. Recently, I reached out to Laura for an update, and unexpectedly, I was told that I now need to provide evidence of a Level 3 qualification. This is all on email records.
This requirement was never mentioned during enrollment or throughout the course. It’s extremely disappointing to be asked for this only after successfully completing the program and waiting months for certification. Fortunately, I completed a BTEC Level 3 qualification around eight years ago, but imagine the situation for someone who hadn't — it would be incredibly unfair. Additionally, I can miss deadline for university and miss the cohort if I don't receive this certification as university dont aspect transcript as offcial documentation.
After I submitted proof of my Level 3 qualification, I was assured the certificate would arrive within 30 days. That time has passed, and I still have not received anything. I also called today, and while the receptionist took my details and promised a call back, no one has followed up.
This experience has been extremely frustrating and reflects very poorly on the quality of service provided.

Regarding the recent request for Level 3 qualification proof, this requirement has been introduced very recently by our awarding body to ensure that all students are enrolled fairly and meet the eligibility criteria. If a student does not have a formal Level 3 qualification, they can alternatively provide evidence of relevant work experience. This means certification remains accessible to all genuine learners.
Concerning the request to rework assignments, please note that you have not been asked to completely redo your work. Instead, some adaptations are needed due to recent changes in assignments and updates required by the awarding bodies. This decision was not taken lightly and is considered a last resort. Our aim is always to avoid disadvantaging students or requiring more work than necessary. We are here to support you through this process, with assistance available from both our tutors and student support team.
We also appreciate that you have previously been awarded a Level 5 qualification with us, which demonstrates your genuine commitment. We want to assure you that there have been no issues regarding your Level 5 certification.

great basis to build from
I joined up to do a course during the covid-19 pandemic and ended up with an MBA and am currently do an Ma Human resource management. the course is a great springboard and covered a wide range of material which due to time I was able to progress through quickly. I didn't really have a plan but I enjoyed the learning and so I carried on and havent stopped since!

Insightful induction to OBS from Mike
I did my induction to OBS last night with Mike and it was extremely informative, and Mike answered all the questions I had and certainly put my mind at easy. He gave me helpful insights of how to manage and work thru the dashboard page. Today was my induction for the course of NVQ level 5 health and social care. My teacher was Mike, I found him really helpful. The way he explained everything it is appreciated. I would love to have him my tutor in future. I would recommend everyone to take lessons from Mike.

I been trying to get my certificate after completing a course at obs and after 5 months I still don’t have my certificate at hand. Im wondering if it’s a scam and I also got a laptop from them but I can’t use it. Imagine I lost the charger and I went in every shop possible to get a new charger and I been unable to find it. The laptop that they give you for free is not even in the market ?!!!!!!!

Regarding your certificate, the delay in issuing it is due to referencing concerns in your submitted work. You have already been provided with guidance on how to improve this, and student support is available to assist you if needed. Once the referencing is amended and your work resubmitted, we will be able to process your certificate promptly.
As for the laptop, it is offered as a gesture of goodwill to support your studies. However, responsibility for any loss or damage, including missing parts like the charger, lies with the student. The laptops are ordered directly from Amazon, and students can find replacement parts by searching for the product online. Many universal chargers are also available which should be compatible.
We appreciate your understanding and remain here to support you in completing your course successfully.
