I was skeptical that they were not a scam.
When I called, I got a woman who knew her stuff, found a motor I had overlooked when I was on their site.
I ordered a suzuki "DF9.9BTHS5" on a Tues afternoon and 68 hrs later on Fri morning it showed up. (Holy crap batman, that is fast)
So far, no obvious damage in shipment. Only open the box to do a visual inspection. It seems everything is there (no missing parts). I haven't done any kind of a functional check, but I have no reason to suspect that there will be any issues. Everything seems fine, and as of now I would recommend this company. It'll probably be a couple of weeks before I get to actually test the motor.

I purchased a set of 14" control cables for my new Susuki 9.9 hp outboard. Upon ordering the cables, they charged postage as well, howeer, upon receiving the motor, the cables were taped to the crte as well. To top it off, going by their guidelines, the cables were too long AND THEY DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OF CONTROL CABLES so that's $150 down the drain.

They assured me that they sell brand new motors and would exchange the motor if there was any issue with the motor. It was $200 less expensive than at other stores, so I bought the motor from them. I found a damaged gear switch. Since the motor is under warranty, they informed me that they were powerless to help and that I would need to take it to the dealer. I shouldn't ever purchase from them. They will sell you bad quality product and leave you alone. Currently my motor is at the dealer waiting for parts.

Wonderful and I mean WONDERFUL experience purchasing my Suzuki 9.9hp. They shipped it to me in half the time any dealer in the Spokane area told they could get me one by. My order was packaged same day and I had a tracking email. The receipt I was sent had my serial number and it matched the shipment. Bravo onlineoutboards.com!

I recently bought a 5hp Mercury from Online Outboard. When I ordered it I was told of some cosmetic damage to the handle. I was given a $100 off and was told there was no other damage. When I received the motor it looked great but would not start. Found out there was more damage under the cowling. Repairs cost nearly $400. I emailed O.O. about the issue and never received a reply. I wouldn't buy from them again.

I purchased a suzuki 20hp thinking what am i doing? This is a scam! I'll never see it and loose $3000! Well here it goes!
I WAS WRONG!
In 2 days got a call from fedex, in 4 days it was in my driveway. Perfectly packaged.
Included fuel tank and hose included. Better experience than i ever expected. I was not paid to say this! I went out of my way to write this review becuase they did it right! I'm very happy if you can't tell

I’m Canadian and was having the motor shipped to my boat in Florida. They flagged my credit card to make sure this was legit. They sent a fraud email which I verified and they even called me to confirm the order. I had the motor within 6 days of ordering. Would have been quicker if not for the credit card issue. They had the best prices too. Highly recommend this company

Took my money never shipped my motor crooks

Best deal ever. I called Online outboards about a DF20AES5 on June 30. I needed the motor before July 12 for a fishing trip so I could not wait for free shipping. I drove fro
m Michigan to Tennessee on July 5 to pick up the motor. Everything was ready when I arrived. I was on my way home in less than a half hour.

Excellent, fast, no BS company. Got my 9.8hp in 8 days. Really good!

Onlineoutboards.com has the best prices anywhere for their boat motors. Shipping is fast and free, and their customer service was very helpful and friendly. I'm very happy with the purchase of my 2.5 hp Suzuki engine. I would recommend this company 100%.

I got a reasonable price on a portable Suzuki 20 hp EFI when nobody else had anything comparable in stock. I had heard good things about Online Outboards so thought I'd use 'em and was not disappointed. It shipped right away and FedEx Freight did a fine job. I appreciate the resources on their website which for a new boater like me were helpful (e.g. recommended oil and fuel to use).

NOTE: I haven't opened the box yet but so far, so good. You can assume no issues if I don't post an update.

Got a 9.8 Nissan outboard and it went smooth. Shipping was quick and price can't be beat. Very happy with my motor it was just what I was looking for and powers my inflatable very well.

A special thanks to Mike who helped me with my outboard purchase and answered all my emails. They shipped my 20hp Nissan on a Tuesday and I received it on Friday in time for the weekend. It arrived in perfect condition and everything I needed was provided except the oil and gas! I saved a bundle of money buying online and I will recommend onlineoutboards to all my friends at the lake.
