Fanastic site for people like myself who lack access to good tradespeople. I have had bad experiences in the past- in particular trying to book for smaller jobs, in this case it was for a self assembly unit, requiring strength and skill.
Through the service I was able to book a very pleasent carpenter from JJ Burke called James . He arrived on time, was professional and charged a fair price for the work completed.

Electrician quotes coming in from…
Electrician quotes coming in from onlinetradesmen are pretty much 250 for everything, even 10 minutes jobs.
I have used onlinetradesmen for many jobs, and did meet some great people on it - but these quotes are getting ridiculous.
I'm a 15+ decorated engineer and i don't charge this.
Private surgeons don't charge that.
From the same trade that argued it couldn't pay apprentices more than 7-9euro and hour ... lowest wage in the nation. As a result many apprentices can't afford to do the 4 year trade.

Onlinetradesmen.ie have come up trumps…
Onlinetradesmen.ie have come up trumps again. We needed a total revamp of our bathroom to 'future proof' it. Posted our job on onlinetradesmen.ie, and within a few hours we had replies. The process was helpful and very efficient via Onlinetradesmen.ie. We engaged Andrew Creane construction to our job. Andrew came out and assessed the project came back with a quote and work started within a few weeks from that and was completed within the 2 week time frame stated (a complete reworked layout). Throughout, Andrew, Willie and Garry were consummate professionals in their work, coupled with being true gentlemen. We are over the moon with how our project has turned out. We have no hesitation in recommending Andrew and team. Thanks Guys

Website is not customer friendly, you need a customer login option on the front page assuming you would like us to continue to use your services, so make it easy for us to get in and select new jobs. So beside the Tradesman login put Customer Login. Open new job, review old job, find tradesman by Skill, By Name, By Area. Great service, but could be so much easier if you think about the experience from the customer's point of view. So either a new Landing page dedicated to Customers, because the current one is for Trades men and your trying to get business, so keep it focused on what your trying to achieve which is sell the services.

Jucelino. Great painting service
We got Jucelino - Renovation Paintwork - to paint our apartment in Limerick. We live 2 hours from Limerick so could not prepare apt before he came. We called to see the job and We are really happy with the work.He had to work round everyone coming and going. We would be happy to recommend him to anyone looking for a painter.

The core issue, as you are aware, is that your company 'Feature Walls Limited' in Dublin has not been able to provide proof of qualifications, which is a requirement for any trade business looking to reply to property owners' jobs on our service.
As a standards-based service, any carpenter needs to provide a recognised qualification such as Fetac/Solas/Fas certificate in carpentry. A fact that you both agreed to in multiple conversations with our team and also formally signed up when accepting our terms of service.
Given that you have now confirmed that 'Feature Walls Limited' does not hold a formal qualification, we cannot give you access to the jobs leads function as discussed.
We will, however, continue to provide you with access to all the other business benefits of our service - website, invoicing and other business tools - included for your remaining subscription period.
