Very poor service

Bought an airbed and paid £7 for delivery and the air bed never arrived! And the customer service didn't want to refund me the delivery! Very disappointed and will never use their services again!

late deliver

Like below, I paid £7 for next day delivery for my item as I needed, only for it not to turn up. Had I known I would have used my amazon prime, but just thought they would have delivered what they were offering.
Cost another £50 having to go get the item that wasn't delivered in time in a shop 😡

Don't trust the Next Day Delivery. Charged £7 and received 2 days later

As other customers found out, I have been charged for £7 for a next day delivery, but not received the package on the next day. Even though I kindly asked refund for the delivery charge, they refused to provide claiming it was courier fault.
This is not right since if they paid the courier for next day delivery and failed to do so they can make claim to the courier (and get the funds back).
In essence I paid £7 they have failed to deliver and refused a refund for this.
No wonder why people choose amazon...

Will go back to Amazon next time...

I purchased a single airbed from Only Airbeds on Sunday night noting that they had next day delivery, advertised on the sticky side panel on each page of their website in bold red writing 'FAST Shipping Next Business Day Delivery' (without any indication of a caveat to this in their detailed delivery page). There was only one option for postage - next business day delivery, at a charge of £6.95, which seemed pretty steep but given it was next business day, I went for it. Tuesday came and went and no airbed was delivered. We called on Wednesday morning - apparently there had been a delay from the courier and the store immediately clarified that they are not responsible for delays from the courier. The bed was delivered on Wednesday but I did email again to ask about the delivery charge being returned in light of the delay. The response was to refer me to the terms and conditions on the delivery section of the website, which clarifies that no compensation will be offered if the delay is the fault of the courier. From my perspective (and perhaps I am wrong), my contract is with the seller, not the courier and I have paid the seller for next business day delivery. They have the relationship with the courier and should seek a refund for the courier's charges in these cases but for whatever reason they have simply contracted themselves out of this albeit in a wholly misleading way. In my experience (which is in Australian law rather than UK), the claim of 'FAST Shipping next business day delivery' should immediately notify customers that this is subject to caveats and clearly direct customers to the terms of this. I have since also looked further on their website that they are also attempting to contract themselves out of any damage if the customer does not check the product within 24 hours of receipt. I have not had time to do so and am immediately concerned by this. I certainly hope that this is not attempting to contract individuals out of their statutory rights. Nevertheless, the lack of transparency and accountability from this company leads me to return to the safety net of Argos or sellers on Amazon on the next occasion rather than expand out to 'family run businesses' and I find myself recommending the same to others.
